CanvasPop Review, Discount, and Giveaway!

So, you take photos, right? And you love them, but I'm guessing you print fewer of them than you'd like. Even if you are a scrapbooker, as I know many of you are, you print them for your albums, but then they get tucked away. I was recently given the opportunity to have a photo printed on canvas by CanvasPop for free, and can I just tell you how much I LOVE this canvas! The process was super easy and the finished product is gorgeous!

Canvas Pop Canvas Review by Jennifer Ingle #justjingle #canvaspop #homedecor #photography #fenwaypark #baseball #redsox

See that awesome shot of Fenway Park in the snow? Yup. I took that shot. I loved it the instant I took it and the first thing that came to mind was that I wanted to somehow incorporate that shot into my home decor. CanvasPop made that TOTALLY possible! I chose a size, a wrap, and the other specs for my canvas. You can also choose to have them framed, if you like! The colors on this thing, you guys, GORGEOUS! It printed beautifully and lost nothing in the process. I was concerned that the canvas might take away some of the detail or feel of the shot and that was NOT a problem at all! I love how this canvas turned out so much!

Canvas Pop Canvas Review by Jennifer Ingle #justjingle #canvaspop #homedecor #photography #fenwaypark #baseball #redsox

Now I have a piece of my favorite place on Earth on a beautiful canvas in my living room! I love it! And I love that it is my own work, as well. One of the great things about CanvasPop is that it takes your photos up to the artist level when you have them printed and hang them in your home! I love that. Super duper love that!

AND... CanvasPop has one amazing feature that many like sites do not have - a 100% Love it for Life Guarantee! Yes. They actually want you to love your canvas so much that they guarantee it for life. THAT is customer service, folks. For REALS, though.

If you head over there you can get 35% off your order using the code JUSTJINGLE35! Still looking for that last minute Father's Day gift? DO IT! This is perfect!

Also, CanvasPop is generously offering ONE lucky Just Jingle reader a FREE 16x20 Canvas Print! Yes, that's right! To enter, head on over to the CanvasPop Facebook page and let them know that Just Jingle sent you then leave a comment here telling me about the photo you would like to have printed!

Giveaway will close Tuesday 23 June 2015. Winner will be contacted via email. Be sure to leave a contact email. If I am unable to reach you, a new winner will be chosen.

Happy National Scrapbook Weekend! The Bazzill Basics Design team is excited to celebrate with you! Today we want to share some inspiration to help kick off your weekend creativity!

Now, let me remind you, I am a card maker. Yes, it is true, I began this journey as a scrapbooker, but the simple truth is, I was WAY better at card making and they sort of took over my life. But, JUST for you guys, I decided to create an actual scrapbook layout since, well, it is National Scrapbook Day. For reals, I totally did it. (This is a rare sighting folks, I assure you! You may want to take out your cameras, however, do so slowly and quietly as to not frighten the card maker.)

Pictures of You by Jennifer Ingle @Bazzillbasics @Jennifer Ingle #bazzillbasics #scrapbooking

I was inspired by my amazingly talented friend Beck Beattie to give a watercolor background a shot and then layer stuff over it. I am a clean and simple girl to the core, so I kept it fairly simple, but I absolutely LOVE this photo and I actually am thrilled with how this layout highlights it. It tells the story. My story. Our story. And that, my friends, is what scrapbooking is all about, isn't it? For reals, though. I do have some hidden journaling on the pull out tag behind the photo, but I wanted to keep the page within the space I had intended and kind of like that the journaling is just my own, tucked away in there.

Pictures of You (detail)

Kinda Awesome by Jennifer Ingle #pinkfreshstudio #cards #diy #crafts

For my card, I used one of the little diamond transparency thingies (of COURSE that is what they are called) as a window. I simply traced the diamond, cut out a window, and then adhered the diamond so it would have some light/space behind it. I stamped the rest of the sentiment on either side and created an accent row with the pink wood beads.

Kinda Awesome by Jennifer Ingle #pinkfreshstudio #cards #diy #crafts

And we are GIVING AWAY this fabulous kit to on lucky blog hopper! Simple comment on each blog as you hop and remember to comment with your favorite project from the hop on the Pinkfresh Studio Blog, as well, for your chance to win!

Your next stop is Jessy's blog!

Wicked Awesome!

I am up over on the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps blog today and I am excited to be sharing something a little different today!  I created a fun LAYOUT using CAS-ual Fridays Stamps!  WHAT?!  Yup.  Totes, you guys.  Totes.

Wicked Awesome

I used my new favorite set of all time, Wait for It, for the title and I created the baseball stitches using the triple chevron stamp from RAD.  This layout was SO much fun to make and the memory was even MORE fun!

We happened to be in Boston the day of the Red Sox home opener.  We LOVE going to games, but because my husband had a conference that day we hadn't picked up tickets for the game. He decided he could get there in time, so I went over to see if I could get game day tickets (which we figured was a long shot, at best).  Well, I got in line a 9am... the ticket office opened at noon.  I waited, made new line friends, but WE GOT IN!  It was so awesome!  We got to see the World Series Ring Ceremony and, of course, the game!  The Boston Pops played, the Dropkick Murphy's played, some of the Marathon victims were there on the field to help with the ring ceremony.  It was just all around, WICKED AWESOME!

Boston Strong with Punky Sprouts

Hello, and Happy Monday, folks!  I am excited to share that I am guesting over at Punky Sprouts today!  If you aren't familiar with Punky Sprouts, you are going to find some pretty fun stuff!  They have unique mini albums and some really fun embellishments, too!  I got the chance to play with the Rebel Sprout album.  The thing I love about Punky Sprout albums is that you can totally make them your own by putting the pages in any order and adding the rings anywhere!  It's all about YOU!

Boston Strong Mini Cover

The Hubbums and I were very fortunate to have the opportunity to attend two Red Sox games at Fenway the weekend following the Boston Marathon bombings. These games were particularly significant due to the tributes and other special events taking place during them, so I decided they would be the perfect thing to create an album on! I pulled some of my favorite photos and highlighted some of the special events from those games in my album. You can check out all of the pages over on the Punky Sprouts blog!

Boston Strong Mini Page 4-5

So head on over to Punky Sprouts and check it out! I used the Basic Grey Hipster collection along with the Punky Sprouts goodness, but the entire supply list is over there, as well! I don't do albums often anymore, so this is kind of a special occasion. Just sayin'. HA! Oh...and yes... that page really does say that. WHY? Because Ortiz really said that. If you aren't familiar with the story... google it. It was freaking AWESOME! It was a great day in Red Sox history and a great day for Boston. For reals, folks. For. Reals.

Have a Happy!

Only An Instant

So...today's project is a bit outside of the box...okay...well, actually, it IS a box. But it's a bit different from what you normally see around here. It's a mini album! In a box. Yeah... I know... but just watch... I think you will like it! YAY!

Only An Instant (front)

If you happen to follow me on Instagram, then you know that I love it. I take instagrams of stuff just to see what it looks like photographed. Literally. So... I thought I'd create a fun little album with some of those shots and a few words on each one.

For an Instant (top)

I created a paper pieced version of the Instagram logo using cardstock and colored pencils. Instead of the 'Insta', I took some creative liberty and made it 'Ingle' instead. *wink* *wink* See what I did there?

HA! I totally just said that. Whew! K... Moving on...

Only an Instant (inside)

Inside I have the photos connected with two long strips of ribbon to allow them to fold Jacob's ladder style inside the box. There are loops at the top and bottom so it's easy to get them in and out. On the back of each, is typewritten journaling.

This was WAY fun to make! I think the most fun was a toss up between finding/taking cool shots for it and recreating the logo - I love how the colored pencils worked so nicely to create the lens look! LOVE IT!!!!

So...there you go... a bit of something different! AND...I am linking this up to the Camera Craze Challenge over in the Moxie Fab World! I hope you love it!

Have a Happy!!!

Teaching Me To Be. And a Call to Share Your Passion!!!

***Don't forget to check out my post HERE to join in my month long Blogiversary Celebration!***

I finally managed to do a layout on time for Diana's way fun sketch challenge! I really loved the sketch this time around, but, as per usual when I work with sketches, I ended up really making it my own. Due to the position of The Hubbums in the photograph, I flipped the sketch and I placed my circles a bit differently. Instead of using the strips in the sketch for journaling, I decided to create glitter dots, a glitter stripe, and a twill that coordinated with my layout idea.

Here is my layout.

Now that I am looking at it, I can't decide if I like the fire embellishment on there or not. It is there because I feel like it has meaning that relates to the idea of the layout. Hmmm.....that's a tough one. I'll have to think on it.

BUT....even with that thinking going on and such, I still TOTALLY love this layout and I am so excited to have had the chance to participate in the Sketch Challenge this week! The sketch inspired such a wonderful outcome for me! I love it when that happens!!!!

No. Seriously, folks. That is just wicked crazy cool. You know...when something just JUMPSTARTS you and totally gets you going in a direction that only could have been led by that single catalyst?! Does that ever happen to you? I mean at all in life...not just in making stuff. I know lots of my readers aren't scrapbookers, but we all have a passion for something.

A passion for art, for cooking, for fashion, for teaching, for learning, for writing, for caring for others, for ANYTHING! NO matter what your passion is, it is just the COOLEST THING EVER when you are inspired. I mean really INSPIRED!

Tell me about it! Or...better yet...write a blog post about it and then come back and link to your post here so we can all read about your passion and what inspires you!!!!

Oooooo!!!! I am so stinking excited right now! I really hope you take the time to share your stories! Thanks, Diana, for inspiring me, not only to create this awesome layout, but also to encourage others to share their passion! This is GREAT STUFF, folks!!! Okay. I'm just happy now. I'm typing at like super sonic speed, so you totally better not let me down! I want to see your passion! Blog about it! If you don't have a blog, just leave a really long comment if you need to! LOL! I want to know!!!

All that Glitters

***Don't forget that I have Giveaways Monday through Friday this week so check posts for those!***

It's time for this months Use your Stash Design Team reveal! The challenge this month is an easy one for lots of you, so I hope you will jump in and try to win the great prize! All you have to do is pull out your GLITTER! Glitter is a good thing! A very good thing! I love it! I even love when I finish a project and I'm covered with it! LOL! I'm kinda like a little girl in that respect!

Here is the layout that I created for this challenge and I hope that you are inspired enough to jump in this month! It's easy! Just create a layout using Glitter and post it to Mr. Linky over at This Post!

"30"

I apologize for the horrendous photograph. This one gave me fits! Lots of black with a big flash of candle light in the middle will do that to you! LOL! Oh, and the very lovely reflective glitter helped a lot, too! LOL!

To create the glittered line border beneath the photo I simply used a ruler with my Sakura Glue Pen and drew a few lines and sprinkled Pink Paislee Pixie Sticks glitter over them. Then I drew a few more glue lines and did the same in another color until I had three colors! I love the way it came out and it really wasn't hard at all! Then, I added a glitter border to my American Crafts Thickers by outlining them with the glue pen and sprinkling glitter on those, as well.

Here are some close up photos for you!

Here are the supplies I used for this layout:
Patterned Papers: BoBunny, Basic Grey, My Mind's Eye, American Crafts, Sassafrass Lass
Glitter: Pink Paislee
Glue Pen: Sakura
Thickers: American Crafts
Pen: Uniball Signo

Pure Imagination, Pure Inspiration

Tomorrow is the last day to enter the Figments Studio Journal contest! Check it out!

If you are an artist, designer, or crafter of any kind you know how wonderful that feeling is when inspiration hits you like a ton of bricks! You know...when your creative mind just takes over and goes head on into full gear. You can't think about anything else and your hands just start itching to grab some supplies and MAKE something! I love it when that happens. For me, inspiration can come from so very many places...It really is all around us! Today, I just wanted to share with you a few things that I have found inspiring lately.

This song is amazing. This is the full version so it is very long, but so worth every moment you spend absorbing it.

Pure Imagination Trance Remix - Willy Wonka - Ford Feat Jori

Magazines! They can be totally inspiring sometimes! I recently began receiving Body and Soul due to a free sub offer that I got and I have just been thrilled with the covers! They just jump with color and totally make me happy.

This song is a long time favorite and ever inspiring to me. Actually, this is my favorite song of all time.

Delta Rain - The Blessing

These amazing blogs:

Melissa Loves
Cafe Cartolina
Maya*Made
Gutter Girlz - Particularly the playlist!

THIS! Not flowers, so much, but more the weather that we are slowly, but surely seeing creeping in to take over the cold freezingness that we have been bearing for altogether too long. I love 70. I really do.

And I am pretty inspired by these at the moment, too:

I won a pair from The Bright Side Project and I wore them for the first time yesterday and they are FANTASTIC SHOES!!! They are so cute and so high and do wonderful things for my legs. They made me smile. If you haven't checked out the Bright Side Project yet, you TOTALLY should! Talk about an amazing way to find wonderful designers and get to know them, all while answering intriguing and fun questions and reading what others have to say! It's another great source of inspiration!

While those are not the only things that inspire me, that is all for now. I hope something has spurred you on to create! Now...show off what inspires you! I would love to see your posts!

Post about what inspires you and then add a link directly to that post in Mr. Linky! Let's inspire!

Rhymes With Orange and Stuff

First of all, don't forget to check out the AWESOME giveaway posted here.

Now...onto today's ramblings.

Seriously?

Nothing?

Not ONE WORD?

Seriously, folks.

It's true and there is nothing we can do about it.

Nothing. I repeat, NOTHING rhymes with orange.

Yes, I do understand that this is probably not news to you, nor is it a new thing to me. HOWEVER...it has brought to mind something that may be new to you. Do you realize the implications of a basic word in the English language not having ANY other words that rhyme with it? Have you ever stopped to think about this? For REAL, folks! It is simple, straight forward PROOF that our language is none other than inadequate, to say the least. You know how we often struggle to find the right words...we are left speechless...(okay...so I've heard that happens to some people, although, I can't say I've experienced that one myself...), we are left wanting - even NEEDING a better word.

In most cases we blame our own lack of vocabularic knowledge. No...that SO isn't a word, but I figured I'd toss it in there to add to your own personal vocabularic treatise. HOWEVER, the thing of it is...it's not our fault! Okay...so for some people it is totally their fault because they are just dumb and don't value education, but that's a whole other post. For most of us...it is simply because the English language is severely lacking and for NO reason.

Thus, bringing back to Orange. Here we have a collection of letters in the English alphabet that come together to form sounds. Not hard. We all learned that in first grade. HOWEVER; unlike time, prime, crime, and slime; there is not ONE other word in the language that has utilized this grouping. How very wasteful! We SO could be using this combination in other ways!

In Greek there are at least FIVE different words to describe what we call 'love.' FIVE! And we get one. No agape, no eros, no philia, no storge, no thelema (look that one up! It's the fun one! LOL!)...nope! We don't get ANY of that. We just get love. And perhaps the text version 'luv,' but I'm pretty sure that doesn't really count. WHY???? We could have Borange and Sorange, and Quorange, and Zeptorange. We aren't using any of those. So WHY the HECK don't we have words that rhyme with orange. We need them.

That's all I'm say'n.

Oh...here are a couple of cards that I made!

CPS Challenge Card

This one is a sympathy card that I made for a friend who lost her Mom. It's been a long struggle, so the Peace theme really fit the situation well. It is really shimmery in real life because I dusted it with Glimmer Mist!

CPS Peace Card Close Up

This one is for the Use Your Stash Tag Challenge. You still have a couple more days to get your layouts in, so head over and check it out! Our Design Team cards are going up today!

Thank you Tag Card

Tags Close Up

I used October Afternoon papers on this and stamped the images directly on the tags with Close To My Heart stamps and ink. It was really a rather quick card to pull together, but I like it! It's fun!

Have a happy Wednesday!

What are your thoughts on orange?

Piles of Paper, Stacks of Cans, and a bunch of Tulips

Okay...here you go:

BEFORE:

DSCN2857
DSCN2858

Yup! That was my paper scraps! A tad bit out of control, one might say. If one was being judgemental and all. But I know you wouldn't do that to me! Your all such nice folks! No judging around here! But, alas, sometimese the truth is simply that...the truth. And one must deal with the truth by finally sitting one's rear down with the giant bin of insanity known as the paper scrap "file." HA! I actually thought it was 'filed!' LOL! Now THAT is funny stuff...anyway...I digress...as I was saying...One must sit down on one's rear with the insanity that is the paper scrap sorting system and actually, oh, I don't know...SORT IT!!!

The thing is, as you can obviously see by the afore noted photographs, this is not an area in which I would like to invest copious time whenever I am crafting. THUS...the simplest system possible is what I was looking for. So....

AFTER:

DSCN2892

I grabbed some 13x13ish plastic bags and sorted my paper into patterns and solids and then I sorted each of those into two sizes - big and small. I realize that those are rather ambiguous size descriptions, but basically, I didn't want the tiny stuff getting lost in the almost full sheets and I didn't want the almost full sheets getting bent and wrinkled by the small pieces at the bottom, so that is my system. I had to use more than one bag for a couple categories...patterns in small and big, but I really like how easy it is for me to put scraps away after I create and also how easy they are to look through when I want to use them. Even when I had that afore mentioned disaster I was using scraps almost every time I sat down to work, so now it is faster and easier and I LOVE THAT!!!!

Okay...on to the stacks of cans. It's a good thing I title my posts first, otherwise I would forget what I was supposed to be posting before I ever got there! HA!

DSCN2882

This is the beginning of what is to become an installation art piece in our kitchen. I love it! LOL! It's against a small partial wall right next to our sink. The stack is growing and it looks WAY too cool! I want to glue them together to make it an actual installation piece! Seriously! No...really...it's cool...trust me on this one. It will be fun to see it grow to cover the wall!

HERE!

DSCN2910

These are just to brighten your day and remind you that it is FRIDAY!!!! My Mommy and Daddy gave me these for my birthday last week. They are all gone now, but that's what I love about photographs! They last forever!

Also, the lovely Veronica was kind enough to point out THIS fabulous line to me yesterday!

Ummmm...yes. That is the new Bella Blvd. Sweet Celebration line. And...ummm....yes....it is filled with CUPCAKES!!!!! Wasn't it nice of them to design a line around my personal obsession? I certainly think so! We simply aren't going to mention the fact that the cupcake thing is sort of a world-wide craze and lots of people love them because that would make me sad to think they didn't design these wonderful papers just for me. So shhhh! don't tell me and everything will be fine. Just fine. Really. It will be fine. Okay, no seriously, though folks...isn't it great when a company reads your blog and that very day announces that they created a line JUST for you?! I think so! I really do!

AND....the papers, oh.....dear......me......the papers! I am in serious paper lust here, folks....it's not even good. LOL! These things are so vibrant, so full of color, and SOOOOO calling my name!!!! I chose to post this one because it is called "Lost for Words" and that is pretty much what I am when I see these papers! LOL!

I am not even going to try to post my favorites from Cosmo Cricket. You don't have that kind of time! LOL! But you SO need to check them out! They always make me a happy girl!

Okay, so that's probably enough lustful paper and embelly gushing for today!
Have a wonderful day!
