With Lawn Fawn, Anything Goes at Simon Says Stamp!

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog

Happy Wednesday! It's time for a new ANYTHING GOES challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog! This week the Design Team is playing with Lawn Fawn goodies! I LOVE Lawn Fawn cuteness, so I had some fun with this one!

Hello There

To create this card, I started with a sheet of Simon Says Stamp Audrey Blue Cardstock (LOVE!) as the base. I then trimmed a white panel and die cut the Lawn Fawn Hello die from it. I stamped the flamingo from Gnome Sweet Gnome and the sentiment using Cole's ABC's, colored them, then adhered the panel to the card and added the extra pieces for the letters. I finished it off with a flower sequin and an enamel dot for just a bit of embellishment.

A Springtime Hello

Hello! I  have been playing with watercolors a LOT lately and I am SO loving it! I got this great French 50's Cafe stamp set from Crafter's Companion awhile ago knowing it would be absolutely BRILLIANT with the watercolor look! I love it! LOVE!

Hello

I stamped the image with VersaFine Smokey Grey ink, gave it a  minute or two, then I watercolored the image and the areas around the image. The sentiment is a gold rub-on from Pebbles, Inc. (I used a rub-on successfully. Let's just take a moment to appreciate this very special moment in time. Because dude, that never happens. Never. It's a miracle, I assure you.)

My watercolor set is a super handy one, too! It's the Sakura Field Set and I particularly love that it is small enough to travel, but has a ton of colors. It also has a handy handle on it so you can use it standing up or in a field or wherever inspiration may strike! The waterbrush comes with it, too! LOVE IT!

Hopping By a Little Late

Happy Monday, folks! I am actually going to share a couple of adorable Easter cards with you that I made prior to the holiday. I used some absolutely adorable Mama Elephant stamps and couldn't just let these ones go unshared!

Hoppy Easter

For this one, I kept it pretty classic. I added the cute little carrot to the bunny's hand and colored the grass using Spectrum Noir markers. The bunny is colored with Copics and the patterned papers are from Chickaniddy Crafts.

Hoppy Easter

And for this one, I had a bit of fun with the bunny! My sister is an actor and her boyfriend works in the film industry, so I wanted to make this one 'stage-worthy' for them. Tee-hee! He was so much fun to put together!

And that, my friends, is all I've got for you today!

Another Butterfly Card

I told you guys I loved these butterflies, right? Because I totes do, dude. And I also love this embossing folder. Crafter's Companion goodness at it's best, folks! LOVE! The stamp set I used on this one is called True Colors and I paired that with the gorgeous Make a Wish embossing folder.

Butterfly Birthday

I colored the image using Spectrum Noir blendable colored pencils (90, 98, 102, 062, 063, 055, 002, 041, 036) on kraft cardstock. I love how the pencils look on the kraft! It's also a good chance to use the white, which is always welcome. HA!

Imagine the Possibilities

When these butterfly stamps from Crafter's Companion came out I KNEW I just had to have them!  I'm a sucker for a good butterfly stamp, in general, but these are HUGE and I totally love that! So, that being said, you may be seeing a few butterflies on my blog for a bit because I'm in love. In. Love, people. For reals.

Imagine the Possibilities

For this card I chose a simple black and white for the butterfly, itself. As soon as I bought these stamps I wanted to do something in black and white with them. They have so many wonderful details! I chose the butterfly from the 'The Butterfly Effect' set and the sentiment came from the 'True Colors' set. I stamped the sentiment with three different colors of distress inks to add both color and movement to the design.

Imagine the Possibilities (detail)

I added a few My Mind's Eye enamel dots and then a strip of Smash Tape along the bottom. And that's that!
I hope you have a truly delightful Friday, folks!

Have a Happy!
