Anything Goes!

It's your favorite!!! It's ANYTHING GOES week over on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog! This week the Design Team is using Avery Elle products. Naturally, I chose ice cream. Because... ICE CREAM!!!!

Untitled

I had so much fun with this The Scoop clear stamp set! I think I may have to add some Christmas lights for holiday cards this year!!! I stamped the background in a pale grey with the larger ice cream cone and then layered my little scene over the stamped background. I colored this one with colored pencils and I so enjoyed the process! The little puppy is from the Doodlebug Puppy Love Sprinkles sticker set. I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!!!!

Now it's YOUR turn! Create something awesome, ANYTHING awesome, and link it up! It has to be something NEW. One lucky participant will win a $50 Gift Certificate to the Simon Says Stamp Store! WOOT! WOOT!

Come Rain or Shine

Hello! Come Rain or Shine we always have a new challenge for you each week and that is exactly what we have for you THIS week! A Come Rain or Shine themed challenge! Woot! The Design Team is featuring Avery Elle products this week. You don't have to use them to play along, but if you've got some, feel free to use them in your project for the challenge this week!

Like, you have no idea!

I pulled out a fun Avery Elle stamp set, but then I just kept going! I used a few different manufacturers together on this one and I love how well they all worked together! My little chicks and the grass are from Avery Elle, the umbrella and the raindrops are from Mama Elephant, and the sentiment stamps are from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps. I colored everything with Spectrum Noir markers and added a strip of Amy Tangerine washi tape to accent the design. Isn't it fun to bring together what you have on hand for a totally new design? And it is so CUTE!!!

And now it's YOUR turn to create something fabulous! One lucky participant is going to win a $50 Gift Certificate to the Simon Says Stamp Store! You know you want THAT fabulous prize!

Smooches!

So, this Avery Elle Hogs and Kisses stamp set exists, therefore, I had to have it. That makes sense, right? Right. Let's go with that. Glad we had this talk.

Smooches by Jennifer Ingle #AveryElle #SimonSaysStamp #JustJingle #ValentinesDay

RIGHT, though?! For REALS, you guys! Cutest images EVER! I colored this ridiculously-make-you-giggle cow with Spectrum Noir pens. I love how you can mix up the sentiments in the heart. The set was designed really well in that regard. LOVE IT! I used a couple of sheets from the Jen Hadfield Cottage Living 6x6 paper pad. SEE! I DO know how to use patterned paper.

Once in awhile.

Smooches (detail)

Those tiny hearts are cut with the Simon Says Stamp Mini Hearts Set die. If, for some reason, you do know own this die, go ye to Simon henceforth and drop $7 on them immediately because it is one of the most handy and useful dies in my entire collection. And that's a large collection, trust me on this.

And with that, I wish a wonderful day for you!

Have a Happy!

Because ANYTHING Goes!

If I can incorporate the words 'zap', 'pow', and 'boom' into a card, I pretty much count that as a win from the start. For reals, though. Yes, it's that time, again, folks! It is ANYTHING GOES week over on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog! The Design Team is featuring Avery Elle goodness this week! I am a big fan of Avery Elle stamps. I just love them. I used the Super stamps and dies for my card today.

City Birthday by Jennifer Ingle #justjingle #averyelle #simonsaysstamp

I stamped the entire scene on the white panel and then stamped and die cut the city, colored with Copics to add some shadowing, and adhered that with foam tape for added dimension and visual interest. I also coated the message bubble with Wink of Stella clear glitter goodness!

City Birthday by Jennifer Ingle #justjingle #averyelle #simonsaysstamp

Now it's YOUR turn! Create something AWESOME (it has to be NEW) and link it up to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog for your chance to win a $50 Gift Voucher to Simon Says Stamp! Yup. For reals.

Have a Happy!

April Showers and Such

April Showers and Spring Flowers! Yup! It's Spring time (at least on half the planet) and this week we want to see you inspired by the April Showers and Spring time flowers! The Design Team is using Memory Box products this week. You don't have to use them to play along, but we'd love to see how you use them if you have some on hand!

Love and Hugs by Jennifer Ingle @Jingle #simonsaysstamp #bazzillbasics #memorybox #averyelle

I had a little bit of fun with the Raindrops Texture stencil from Memory Box on this card, along with the fun new Avery Elle Super die set. I added a Bazzill Vellum heart cut with the Sketch Heart die from Simon Says Stamp. I used my Wink of Stella to add both shadow and shimmer to the edge of the skyline created with the die cut.

Sending Love & Hugs (detail)

The sentiment comes from the Simon Says Stamp Sending and Wishing stamp set (a new MUST HAVE...for reals, though..I love this sentiment set!) and is simply embossed on a little banner at the top of the card. A few small hearts in a bright color finish off the card and add a little punch!

Now it's YOUR turn! One lucky participant in the challenge this week, will win a $50 Gift Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Store! You know you want that to be you! You have to enter to win

You're A Gem

So, I signed up for a few fitness classes. Two of them are dance classes - one Zumba and one called Rythm & Motion. Mind you, I have exactly zero dance training, but I do find dancing to be LOADS of fun and I know that I will actually enjoy my workout this way. The third one is a butts and guts class. I am a little scared to death of that one, but it will be good for me. Right? PLEASE tell me it will be good for me. ANYWAY.... dance... and this card... and these awesome new Tiny Dancer dies from Spellbinders®...

You're A Gem

I layered the adorable dancer over the Labels 38 die stamped with some Avery Elle cuteness from the Many Thanks stamp set. I feel like this stamp and that die just go together so well! LOVE IT!

You're a Gem (detail)

I added a bit of May Arts ribbon to create the tutu. Ummm... you guys, that tutu makes me ridiculously happy. For reals, though.

Be sure to keep your eye on the Spellbinders® blog this week! There is a LOT of fun stuff going on! Inspiration and Giveaways GALORE this week! You won't want to miss out!

Have a Happy!

A Hippo Birdie To You!

Yup. That's adorable. And punny. And you know how much I enjoy a quality pun. Or a lesser quality pun, at that! HA! Over the weekend I pulled out this slightly older Avery Elle stamp set to play. You know... just for fun! WHAT?! Yup. I totally did that.

Hippo Birdie

Oh, my LOU, this was fun to do, you guys! For reals, though! So, this is a whole lot of one layer stamping and inking. The very first thing I stamped? The hat. No. For reals. I stamped the hat and then masked it to stamp the hippo and then added the glasses with the hat mask still on. I then removed the hat mask and colored the image in all of it's adorableness. You GUYS! It's a little hipster hippo! WITH A BIRDIE! I can't even....

Hippo Birdie (detail)

I used Wink of Stella over the Spectrum Noirs to add a bit of sparkle to the birdie and then used Glossy Accents on the glasses because, well, glasses. I then created a mask of the bottom of the hippo and layered that with a straight edged mask to ink the grass. I used a few colors of ink from Simon Says Stamp and Ranger Distress inks. Finally, I added some adorable die cut clouds from Spellbinders to finish off the fluffy cute sky! Yup. Fluffy cute. It's a thing. It's a thing now, anyway.

I am linking this fun little card up to the Avery Elle Masking Challenge!

Have a Happy!

Celebrate!

We had a Hanukkah party to attend this past weekend and I, naturally, created the card for the hosts at the very last minute, which is why this is being posted after Hanukkah. LOL! BUT, I still think it is such a pretty card! I have been using this design quite a bit lately. I just change it up to suit different colors, icons, etc.

Celebrate

The dies are from all over the place. LOL! The 8 is from CAS-ual Fridays, the snowflake is Avery Elle, and the tag is WPlus9. The stamps are all from the 8 Happy Nights stamp set from CAS-ual Fridays. I used silver embossing powder to give the snowflake a dip dyed look and strung May Arts metallic string through the tag.

I know this is a busy week for lots of folks, but I do hope you will stop by when you get a chance! I will have some fun things to show throughout the week!

Wishing You Joy

Wow! So, I apologize for the few days I took off. I was in Phoenix at the Spellbinders Design Team Retreat and it was AMAZEBALLS, you guys. For reals. I can't even BEGIN to tell you just how amazing this trip was! I am so inspired to start creating!!!

I know several of you have been waiting for me to announce some winners! I have two to announce, so let's get right to it!

The winner of the Winnie and Walter $30 Gift Certificate is....  DEEPTI! Congratulations, Deepti! I will pass your name and email address on to Winnie & Walter so they can send you your prize!

The winner of the copy of Gossamer Ghost by Laura Childs is.... Kelly Latevola! Congratulations, Kelly! I will be emailing you for your mailing address so I can send this out to you!

Whew! That was fun! Now onto another card that was inspired by the Online Card Classes Holiday Card Workshop.

Wishing You Joy

One lesson focused entirely on one layer cards. This is generally a weakness of mine. While I do CAS, I usually have some layering of some kind on my cards, so I was excited to take this challenge. I loved the partial die cutting that Jennifer showcased, so I went ahead and tried it for this fun card! I used a Spellbinders® circle die along with a great matching stamp and die from Avery Elle to create my window. I inked inside the window and then heat embossed the sentiment.

Wishing You Joy (detail)

I used a scalloped circle die from Spellbinders to create a mask to do the inking on the inside of the card. I love how this adds just a touch more style to the inside. I am kind of loving this whole partial die cutting thing, so... I am fairly certain you will be seeing more of it around here. Because it's awesome. For reals, though.

I am just getting all caught up and back into the swing of things, so I am hoping to have a full week of posts for you this week. Thanks for stopping by! And as always...

Have A Happy!!!

Inspired by Debby Hughes

Don't forget to enter my current GIVEAWAY! Go to THIS POST for more information!

Wow! Day 1 of the Holiday Card Workshop over at Online Card Classes was AWESOME! I was super inspired by the designs, and made this fun card, inspired heavily by Debby Hughes, last night. The sketch/layout is all hers, as are many of the components. I switched up some of the colors and a created a 'dip dyed' look on my snowflake rather than on the tag like she did, but I am LOVING the look! I need to do that more often!

Happy Christmas

I used the snowflake dies from Avery Elle, with which I am IN LOVE, along with a great tag die from WPlus9. Debby used a cute stamped snowflake as the center of the die cut snowflake, but I chose to use a heart flair button from Bossy Joscie, instead.

Happy Christmas (detail)

For the sentiment, I wanted Happy Christmas, rather than Merry Christmas. Mostly because Happy Christmas just makes me happy. For reals, though. SO, I pulled out the Spellbinders® Holiday Sentiments dies (you have the 'merry' option, if you prefer that) and created the white on white look. I LOVE those dies so much!

You can find the links to the supplies I used below! These are affiliate links and your support is appreciated!

I am a Leading Lady!

Happy World Card Making Day, folks!!! I have some VERY exciting news to share with you today! I am the Leading Lady over at Winnie & Walter for the month of October!!! I could not be more thrilled! I absolutely LOVE Winnie & Walter stamps, cut files, and, well, just about everything they make! LOVE! And Julie and Shay are pretty spectacular, too, so it's just a total package kind of deal, folks. Total. Package.

For my first week I wanted to have some fun with some of my FAVORITE Winnie & Walter stamps, so I decided on WORD UP! theme for this week. Yup. It's all about the words for this one, folks!

Happy Hello

For my first card, I used words as my absolute focal point. This one is ALL about the words. I stamped Happy from The Big, The Bold, and The Happy three times in different colors and then added the Hello, taking it off to the other edge to draw the eye to it. I love how words are the star of the show for this fun card!

Thankful for You

Another great thing about the word stamps from Winnie & Walter is that you can totally use them in the background, as well. For this fall card I stamped the word 'autumn' in the background repeatedly in a very pale ink to add visual interest and texture to the design. I then stamped my tree and the sentiment right on top! I love how the background adds so much to this card.

Black and White Thanks

For my final card, I actually didn't use any stamps at all?! WHAT?! I know, right? I cut the 'thanks' using the The Big, The Bold, and You cut files and used the negative as a stencil to trace my sentiment onto the card. I then used one of the BRAND NEW stencils from Winnie & Walter to add some bold, black embossing paste stripes across my card panel. I am LOVING these stencils!!! This card shows how words can be used in, perhaps the most traditional method, as a fabulous, standout sentiment!

And there you go, my friends! I hope you have enjoyed our little Word Play today! Go grab some of your The Big, The Bold stamp sets and make some magic happen!!!

Shay and Julie have GENEROUSLY provided a $30 Gift Card to one of my readers! To enter, simply comment on my Leading Lady posts here on the blog throughout this month. I will be choosing a winner at the end of the month from ALL of my Leading Lady posts, so you have a few chances to enter!

Have a Happy!

P.S. Winnie and Walter are also having some FABULOUSLY fun things going on for World Card Making Day, so be sure to check them out today!!!

Warm Wishes from Adorable Snowmen

It's not really all that cold around here yet. Mornings have generally been in the 50's...sometimes just under, and the days are still in the 60's, sometimes over! BUT, this snowman was too cute to wait for frigid temps! I just love him!

Warm Wishes

Oh, for the LOVE of all things adorable! I used the Avery Elle Be Jolly stamp set along with the coordinating Avery Elle die to create my own tag! I just added a hole to the hat and pulled some shiny May Arts string through it for a super cute look! The patterned paper is from the Avery Elle The Everyday Collection 6x6 paper pad, with which I am currently having a very hot love affair. For reals, though. It's steamy.

Warm Wishes (detail)

The snowy hill is Crafter's Companion Shimmering Cardstock (GO! GET SOME! NOWISH!) in pearl. It is SOOO pretty in real life! I cut the hill using the Avery Elle Custom Panels die set. This is SUCH a useful set of dies. I can't say that enough! The image and the banner are colored with Spectrum Noir pens. I wanted my banner to be a perfect match, so I just colored white cardstock to get the right look! Love that! I used my blender pen to remove color from the scarf to create the polka dots. I REALLY love polka dots!

I was inspired to create this card by the Avery Elle TAGS challenge! So fun!

Also... before you go, I do have a question...I have been torn on my photos as of late. Do you guys prefer the straight on, no props photos or these slightly angled with minimal props shots like the one above? I just can't decide which I like better! I'd love to know your thoughts and which you are more likely to PIN! :) Thanks for your thoughts! You guys super rock!

Have a Happy!

Pots of Thanks

So, this is what happened.

Teri posted this awesome photo on Moxie Fab World as inspiration for a challenge. The Pretty Plants challenge, to be precise.

Jingle saw it. Loved it. Promptly forgot about it entirely.

Jingle is working in her studio and does a shout out looking for some good challenges to enter (that were open and would be long enough for me to post throughout this week).

Teri says, Hey! Check out this one!

Jingle is all... I TOTALLY saw that one and TOTALLY forgot all about it. I'm on it.

Then this happened.

DSCN5431

Then Jingle was all... LOVE IT!

And that, my friends, is today's tale.

Have a Happy!

Wanted. Bought. Love. (With GIVEAWAY!)

Today, I am coming to you with a fun installment of "Stuff I LOVE!" Here's the deal, I use a lot of different products. I love some, others, meh. BUT... I really love to SHARE the things I love! So, here are a few things I have been using lately that you simply MUST consider for your stash! I wouldn't lead you astray, folks! I promise!

Simon Says Stamp Teflon Bone Folder Tool

It looks so simple, doesn't it? And yes, I am actually starting out with a bone folder that costs $23.99. And, yes, it is worth EVERY.SINGLE.PENNY. Seriously, you guys. This thing has great weight to it, it creates smooth, beautiful creases with no shine on the cardstock, it has multiple surfaces so it is great for burnishing, as well as creasing. I love it. For reals. LOVE. IT.

Avery Elle The Everyday Collection 6x6 Paper Pad

So. This paper pad. It's amazeballs. I haven't put it away since it arrived because it is just the very BEST go-to stack of patterns EVER. For reals. The patterns were so specifically designed to work with cards and you can totally tell. I love it. It is not often that I purchase the same paper pad twice, but this one ... I'm gonna need another one. For reals. It's the perfect paper pad. Perfect.

Spellbinders® Pierced Circles, Ovals, and Squares

So, here's the deal. The die for the pierced portion is a totally separate die from the cutting die. GUESS what that means, folks?! That means you can play with or without the pierced part OR you can use ONLY the pierced part. These things became a staple the instant they hit my studio. For reals. I have no idea how I survived without them. LOVE. Lots. For reals, though.

Okay, so I sort of cheated and this isn't just ONE product, but rather an entire grouping of stamp sets, but, for REALS, you guys. I have NEVER reached for the same set so many times as I have with these The Big The Bold sets from Winnie & Walter. The words are fabulous and due to the smaller, extra words, each set is LOADED with potential. And that font...seriously...I can't even get enough of it! I can't!!!! LOVE!

They work wonderfully with Copics and Spectrum Noir markers, colored pencils, watercolor, and, well, just stamping in general. The colors are gorgeous. They make me happy. Ridiculously so, actually. Ridiculously so, my friends.

So, while this is hardly everything I love, this does show you a few things that have been making me exceptionally happy in my studio as of late. Why? Because this stuff ROCKS, you guys! And no, I was not asked to share these things, nor was I compensated in any way for this post. My links are affiliate links with Simon Says Stamp, as always, and of course I appreciate you using them if you are shopping with Simon. YAY!

AND...because I have been dealing with a stupid cold, we need to spread some happy, so, I am giving away THREE brand new stamp sets to one lucky Just Jingle reader! They will be three clear stamp sets including at least one set from CAS-ual Fridays, at least one set from Simon Says Stamp, and...who knows what the third will be. And I've been known to toss in an extra goody or two, so ... yeah... that might happen.

To enter:

1. Leave a comment below letting us know which of the above products you are thinking about giving a try!

2. For a second entry Like the Just Jingle Facebook Page and leave a comment there letting us know YOUR favorite studio supply as of late!

Since these are light enough to ship, this giveaway is open world wide. It will close at Midnight Eastern Time Monday 29 September. Feel free to spread the word! :)

Have a Happy!!!
