Smooches!

So, this Avery Elle Hogs and Kisses stamp set exists, therefore, I had to have it. That makes sense, right? Right. Let's go with that. Glad we had this talk.

Smooches by Jennifer Ingle #AveryElle #SimonSaysStamp #JustJingle #ValentinesDay

RIGHT, though?! For REALS, you guys! Cutest images EVER! I colored this ridiculously-make-you-giggle cow with Spectrum Noir pens. I love how you can mix up the sentiments in the heart. The set was designed really well in that regard. LOVE IT! I used a couple of sheets from the Jen Hadfield Cottage Living 6x6 paper pad. SEE! I DO know how to use patterned paper.

Once in awhile.

Those tiny hearts are cut with the Simon Says Stamp Mini Hearts Set die. If, for some reason, you do know own this die, go ye to Simon henceforth and drop $7 on them immediately because it is one of the most handy and useful dies in my entire collection. And that's a large collection, trust me on this.

And with that, I wish a wonderful day for you!

Have a Happy!

A Five Minute Valentine

***Don't forget to enter yesterday's giveaway!***

Looking for an adorable card that you can whip up in bulk before tomorrow? Or perhaps you just need one, but you need it fast! I got these stamps in the mail the other day and didn't have a ton of time, but I wanted to make something, so I created this fun little card in about five minutes. I love it. It makes me smile!

Five Minute Valentine

The stamps are from Reverse Confetti and they are ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!!! I super love them. Had to have them. It was really that simple. HA! I then used WPlus9 inks to add color to the bowtie and hair bow, along with the little hearts and the sentiment. I colored with Copics, but kept it simple by only using flat color. I used a whopping two markers to color these cuties. Yup. Just two. It's allowed. I promise.

Five Minute Valentine (detail)

I finished it off by rounding the corners with the 1/8" corner chomper. This is a new toy in my studio and, you guys, seriously....it is AMAZEBALLS! I already had the 1/4" version, but this tiny rounded corner... BE STILL MY PAPER LOVING HEART! For reals, though. It's awesome.

And that, my friends, is what I have for you today! Be sure to stop by yesterday's post to enter to win a Gift Certificate to Simon Says Stamp!

The design team is showcasing Wink of Stella and Glitter Ritz products this week and I've incorporated both on my card today! I added some clear Wink of Stella to the eyes and then coated them with Glossy Accents for a shimmering, shiny look. The glittery hearts are enamel hearts that I coated with Glossy Accents and covered with red Glitter Ritz glitter! SO MUCH FUN!

Because Hugs and Kisses

I am up over on the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps blog today with this fun card! I used the brand new Mwah! Stamp set for this one. I simply stamped the sentiment and then masked off a heart shaped area to stamp the x's and o's. This was super fun and not hard to do at all!

XO Mwah

I used a circle punch to add notches for the string to add just a little something extra. I love how the cardstock color peeks out from behind the notches!

I'm SMITTEN!

Today is the third and final day of the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps January release. Are you LOVING these new stamps and dies? I was so excited to share them with you and I am so excited that I can use them lots now that the world has seen their awesomeness! Today we have another great set with beautiful sentiments and fonts!

Head over Heels

This card is simple, I know. But it is also one of those cards that I finished and gasped just a little bit. My and The Hubbums' anniversary just so happened to be on New Year's Eve. As soon as I completed this card I knew it would be the PERFECT anniversary card for him. It's not too feminine, it says exactly the right thing, AND... it just so happens to be in our wedding colors, as well! YAY for perfect timing!

Head over Heels (detail)

I used set the stamps out on my card front and then used my stamp press to pick them up and stamp them so they would be aligned just so. I used red ink for just one word to give it pop and to emphasize that part a bit, too. This is a happy card. I kind of love it.

Be sure to head on over to the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps blog to check out what the rest of the girls created with this amazing new set, Smitten! Also, be sure to comment over there for your chance to win this awesome set!

Have a Happy!

Emboss It! Love It!

This week's Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is Emboss It!  You can dry emboss, heat emboss, or use embossing paste!

The design team was asked to use embossing folders this week, but we got to choose which ones!  Oh, my does Simon Says Stamp have a LOT of awesome embossing folders to choose from!  I decided on this fun zig zag folder from Crafter's Companion.  Of course, I couldn't ONLY dry emboss, so I did a little heat embossing on my card, too!  YAY!

Love

This card was so much fun to create!  I used the fabulous All About Love Stamp set from Simon Says Stamp (exclusive).  I really like these letters.  That font is just awesome!  I gave it a bit of the chalkboard treatment and added some glitter paper and bright enamel dots to play with color a bit!  LOVE IT!

Love (detail)

(I apologize for the eraser pieces in this shot... I have no idea how that even happened, but whatevs.  I promise...they aren't on the card anymore!  HA!)

Now it's YOUR turn!  Create a NEW project that uses EMBOSSING in some way!  Dry, heat, paste... it's totally up to you!  One lucky participant will win a $50 voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Store!   Woot!  Woot!!!

You & Me

Tall cards are a challenge to photograph.  That is the lesson I have taken from creating this card.  HA!  HOWEVER, I did have a lot of fun creating it and I am excited to share it with you!  This is my first 'official' post as a member of the Crafter's Companion Design Team!  Woot!  Woot!

The Crafter's Companion Challenge this month is all about HEARTS!  Yup!  Seems like a good time of year for that, doesn't it?  Tee-hee!  I received this amazing heart rainfall die for Christmas and I HAD to use it for this fun hearts challenge!

You & Me

And I felt like it NEEDED a tall card.  At least this time around.  So, thusly, a tall card was bon!  I used VersaMagic inks around the edges to create a cloudy look before stamping my sentiment from the Sentimentals - Imagine set to look like the sun and adhering it along with the die.    I love the glitter paper hearts!  They make me happy!

You and Me (detail)

We would love to have you join us!  To see the full rules and to link up your creation, be sure to visit the Crafter's Companion Challenge Blog.  One lucky winner will recieve a $30 Gift Voucher to Crafter's Companion.  You must use CC products, so be sure to check out the full rules!
