Hello, friends! I am excited to be guest designing for the Stamp of Approval Candy Cane Lane Collection. Stamp of Approval is a collection of products (stamps and dies) that work fabulously together but they’ll also work incredibly well with supplies you already own. They are released quarterly and sell out SUPER FAST. To be the first to know when they go for sale, make sure you are on the wait list.. You’ll get the link to purchase one day before it goes for sale publicly!

I have created some super fun projects using this kit! I had SO many ideas when it arrived, I cannot even TELL you!!!

Ummm... that deer head, though?! FOR REALS, right?! And I was so excited to have the added pattern stamps to add that unique touch to this classic design! I absolutely love this stamp set and will certainly be pulling it out often for my winter and holiday cards!

I super love these tag dies! Are they not PERFECT for gift topping?! And these holiday word dies are perfect over that fun, candy stripe stamped background! These came together fairly quickly, too, so they are great if you have lots of tagging to do!

This collection will be officially available to the public on 22 September, so GET READY!!!! HOWEVER, if you are on a StampNation member, you get the sale link on the morning of the 21st and if you are on the wait list, you get that sale link an hour after the StampNation members! So, GET ON THAT WAITLIST, folks!

I hope you will head on over to Catherine Pooler's blog to check out the entire hop and all of the amazing inspiration, along with the collection, itself! You will NOT be disappointed with this box of goodness! I am the last stop on the blog hop for today! Thank you for hopping with us!

TAG! You're It!

Good News! I'm not going to make you run after me on the playground. Even BETTER news! We have a brand new challenge for you over on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog! This week's challenge is TAG IT! We want to see you create a tag, add a tag, whatever! Make tags a big part of your design and link it up! The Design Team is using Tim Holtz products this week. You don't have to use them to play along, but if you've got some on hand, we'd love to see what you do with them! I pulled out my Crazy Birds stamps for this one, along with some Distress Inks for some watercolor fun.

bah. humbug. tag

I die cut the base with the brand new Stitched Dressed Up Tag dies, with which I am in love. Obviously. I watercolored the base and then stamped my bird on more watercolor paper and painted some more! Because I love watercolor. Lots.

bah. humbug. tag

If you know me, this tag is a little hilarious, because I'm the farthest thing you can find from the 'bah humbug' type. I LOVE CHRISTMAS! But this bird... he seemed to be the bah humbug type. And I love him for it. SO FUN!

Now it's your turn! Create something awesome and link it up over on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog for your chance to win a $50 Gift Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Store! WOOT! WOOT!

It's DIEcember Time!

Yup! It's that time of year, again! It's DieCember time at Simon Says Stamp! That means an entire release of awesome new dies! WOOT! Heidi was kind enough to send me the new Stitched Dress Up Tags to play with for the release! Ummm.... I absolutely LOVE THEM! These are officially new staples in my die stash. They are fantastic!

Tag Trio

I created three tags using the new dies, bringing in the So Very Merry stamp set to use with them. I cut the tag toppers with glitter paper to add some sparkle to the design! I colored the images, minimally, with Spectrum Noir markers for a bit of color.

CAS-ual Fridays Release DAY FOUR!

I KNOW, can you believe there is even MORE goodness to this CAS-ual Fridays Stamps release? For REALS, you guys! Today we are sharing the Lovely Blessings and the Scallop Tags Fri-Dies. These are a great addition to your holiday stamps and your tag die collections!

Blessings to You by Jennifer Ingle #Christmas #CASualFridaysStamps #Cards #JustJingle

I used one of the small snowflakes to create a simple scattering behind the layered tags with the sentiment heat embossed on them. I love these colors for Christmas. Red is my favoritist color of all time, so I tend to reach for it a lot during the holidays, but adding this dark teal gives it a slightly less traditional look and makes it a bit more trendy. I kind of sort of love it. For reals, though.

Blessings to You by Jennifer Ingle #Christmas #CASualFridaysStamps #Cards #JustJingle

Be sure to head on over to the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps blog to check out what the rest of the team has created and to enter to win a $25 Gift Certificate to the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Store! Woot!

From Me, To You

Have you ever sat down to create something, finished it, and then said, "That was too easy. What did I do wrong?" Yeah. That is pretty much how this particular project went. BUT, the truth of the matter, is, the tools MAKE it easy and I LOVE the results so much! CUTENESS! For reals, though.

To You From Me Tag Trio by Jennifer Ingle #spellbinders #tags #diy

Three gift tags. Bright, happy colors. Happy playful shapes. Yes. All of those things. But, seriously, you guys... SO EASY! You guys, all I had to do was combine the new Spellbinders® Tag Trio with the Build a Tag 2 set and stamp a couple of sentiments. Oh...and tie some ribbon onto them with some adorable twine. But, for reals, that's it. That is the sum total of the steps for this project. And CUTENESS!

Tag Trio

I used May Arts ribbon and twine from The Twinery. The stamp set is, well, okay, after searching the internet for a bit I am just coming to grips with the fact that I have no clue what stamp set I used. But to and from stamps are pretty common. You can find some. I believe in you.

Go make some tags, you guys!

Have a Happy!

25 Days of Christmas TAGS {GIVEAWAY!}

I am excited to be participating in the 25 Days of Christmas Tags hosted by Tracey over at In My Creative Opinion! Today is Day FIVE, so be sure to head over there to see the previous days and follow along throughout this month for TONS of holiday tag inspiration!

Snowman Tags

I used the Bubble Labels Dies to create the snowmen shaped tags. I just chopped off one bubble and voila! Snowpeople. I wanted the arms to look like sticks, so after some consideration, I decided to use portions of the Casual Trees Fri-Dies for those. Umm... yes. I do love them. Lots. For reals, though. I stamped the bottom with a few snowflakes from the Must Love Snowflakes stamp set in pastel tones to add a bit of interest to the tags. I kind of love these little guys. They are just SO FUN!

AND...we not only have inspiration for you, but we have PRIZES, as well! Some super amazing companies are sponsoring the hop! We are talking Reverse Confetti, Clearly Besotted, CAS-ual Fridays Stamps (obviously), Neat and Tangled, Paper Smooches, and Lawn Fawn! WHAT?! Yup. Totally, you guys!

Warm Wishes from Adorable Snowmen

It's not really all that cold around here yet. Mornings have generally been in the 50's...sometimes just under, and the days are still in the 60's, sometimes over! BUT, this snowman was too cute to wait for frigid temps! I just love him!

Warm Wishes

Oh, for the LOVE of all things adorable! I used the Avery Elle Be Jolly stamp set along with the coordinating Avery Elle die to create my own tag! I just added a hole to the hat and pulled some shiny May Arts string through it for a super cute look! The patterned paper is from the Avery Elle The Everyday Collection 6x6 paper pad, with which I am currently having a very hot love affair. For reals, though. It's steamy.

Warm Wishes (detail)

The snowy hill is Crafter's Companion Shimmering Cardstock (GO! GET SOME! NOWISH!) in pearl. It is SOOO pretty in real life! I cut the hill using the Avery Elle Custom Panels die set. This is SUCH a useful set of dies. I can't say that enough! The image and the banner are colored with Spectrum Noir pens. I wanted my banner to be a perfect match, so I just colored white cardstock to get the right look! Love that! I used my blender pen to remove color from the scarf to create the polka dots. I REALLY love polka dots!

I was inspired to create this card by the Avery Elle TAGS challenge! So fun!

Also... before you go, I do have a question...I have been torn on my photos as of late. Do you guys prefer the straight on, no props photos or these slightly angled with minimal props shots like the one above? I just can't decide which I like better! I'd love to know your thoughts and which you are more likely to PIN! :) Thanks for your thoughts! You guys super rock!

Have a Happy!

Jingle Tags!

I am up over on the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps blog today with these fun Tags! I used the new Sleigh Bells Stamp set along with the coordinating Bell Tag Fri-Dies. I love how easy it is to cut, stamp, and emboss these tags to create perfect gift additions for the holidays. I left some room on each design to put the name of the gift recipient, as well.

DSCN5419

I sort of love them! Seriously, you guys, this stamp set and die set are so perfect for holiday tag making! I am going to be making a BUNCH of these! LOVE them! You could even write the name where I stamped 'Jingle All The Way' instead of adding a sentiment there if you prefer.

Jingle All the Way Tags

A bit of May Arts sheer ribbon with a lovely gold edge and some gold and natural twine make a pretty topper for each tag and a few Queen and Company bubbles and gem stones add some sparkle without making them crazy. GO! Make some!!!!

Have a Happy!!!

TAG! You're It!

***This is my second post of the day! Please check out my Pinecone card showcasing the new stamps from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps! I kind of love it and want you all to see it. K? K. Thanks. Luvs!***

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog

Hello, FRIENDS! Today began with sunshine, a pair of Toms on my feet, and an absolutely ridiculously good hair day, so you know what? I am pretty darn sure it is going to be a FANTASTIC day! Let's make it happen! And to add to that fantastic day, we have a fun new challenge for you over on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog! This week we are playing TAG! Yup! We want to see tags as your creation, in your creation, on your creation, whatever! Just show us a tag! The design team is playing with Tim Holtz products this week. If you have them we'd love to see you rock them, but if not, that's cool, you don't have to use them to play along!

Create Imperfection Tag

Yup. So you know that happy little CAS box I live in from time to time. Well, I BUSTED that sucker wide open for this challenge! Jumped right on out of the box and went full on mixed media style. I should write a song about it. Psy can sing it. It's gonna be a hit, folks, so get ready for Mixed Media Style: The Song to hit your local radio stations!

DSCN5371

So, you can find the products I used in the links below (or just by browsing the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store), but I want to talk technique for a minute. I used multiple colors of distress inks, applied with the cute little round applicator thingy (yup...totally the technical term) on a standard shipping tag. I then splashed a bit of water on that, which has this neat little reaction and causes those light spots you see. I added some stamped and embossed flowers, then some stamped (and rather messy, mind you) rows of dots before attaching the metal pieces. I also used inks to dye the ribbon and I love that piece so much I think I could hug it. Seriously, though... if you haven't tried to do some of this stuff, it really isn't hard to do... even I managed. HA!

AND... now it's YOUR turn! Create a tag or a project with a tag and link it up to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog for your chance to win a $50 Gift Certificate to the Simon Says Stamp Store! Woot! Woot!

And dude, Have a Happy.

Have a Holly Jolly Christmas!

After all, it IS the BEST time of the year!  *wink* *wink*  I have a super fun new card for CAS-ual Fridays Stamps today!  I really love the Funky Round Fri-Dies and decided to pull those out along with a sheet of wood veneer to create a fun tag for my card!

Have a Holly Jolly Christmas

I cut the large tag and the center circle and then used my Spectrum Noir pens to color the outside frame before piecing them back together.  I stamped with StazOn ink and colored the image with Spectrum Noirs.  That adorable little green bow is from American Crafts.  I LOVE IT!  SO CUTE!!!

Holly Jolly Christmas (detail)

You could totally do these as just gift tags or even turn them into super cute ornaments!  Whoa!  (Yup.  Totally said that in my best ever Joey Lawrence voice.  Out loud.  While typing this post.  For reals.  Just keepin' it real, folks.  'Cause that's how I roll!)

Head on over to the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps blog for LOTS of inspiration!!!  And to buy awesome stamps.  Just sayin'.

Have a Happy!!!
