He is colored with Copics and, well, he's just pretty much the cutest thing EVER! Nice and simple design for this one, but I feel like that image and the fun sentiment did all the work for me, so... simple it is!

I hope you have a hopping good Monday! Hee-hee.... see what I did there... cuz frogs.... cuz....

okay. I'll go now.

Thanks for stopping by!

Little Yellow School Bus

As I have my pumpkin spice coffee with my pumpkin harvest crisp yogurt for breakfast (yup...I'm totally ONE OF THOOOOSE), I wanted to share another fun little card I created using the Simon Says Stamp Back to School stamp set. You could easily change this sentiment out to be a cute teacher thank you or even an encouraging lunch box note for your kiddo!

Back to School by Jennifer Ingle #JustJingle @SimonSaysStamp #BackToSchool #Cards

I colored the image using Copics and and Spectrum Noir markers. I added the little smoke puffs and the road lines by hand. P.S. That was scary. HA! The windows of the bus are coated with glossy accents to add just a little bit of shine!

Bliss

Bliss. I'd like to find some bliss right about now. Life is a bit crazy in my house at the moment. We have our beautiful new puppy keeping us on our toes and we are moving house next week, so the place is a bit of a disaster as boxes are being packed and stacked and such. I like my routine and I like things to be in their place. Nothing is routine right now and nothing is in it's place. LOL! But, alas, it will all iron out soon and I am looking forward to our bright, happy new apartment. It has WONDERFUL natural light. I think that is what I am most excited about! LIGHT!

Bliss by Jennifer Ingle #JustJingle #PinkFreshStudio #cards

I created this card using the awesome July embellishment kit from Pinkfresh Studio. Yup, it's awesome. I know I say that every month, but there is a reason for that! Seriously, though! I love the elements in this kit! It is one of my favorites for sure!

I used one of the fabulous dip dyed canvas tags along with the Bliss acrylic word made for PFS by Color Cast Designs. I am in LOVE with these acrylic words! The washi tape made a perfect border and the little cloud is from the stamp set, I simply colored it with Copics.

Pinkfresh Studio kindly sends me the kits as a member of their Design Team to showcase. To see more awesome stuff be sure to check out the Pinkfresh Designs blog and Instagram!

Find Your Happy

My happy right this minute? Blueberry Cobbler Coffee and a delicious breakfast sandwich. How about you? If you would LIKE a happy, head on over to my current CanvasPop Giveaway for a chance to win a free photo canvas! 'Cause I'm not sharing my coffee. For reals, though.

Find Your Happy by Jennifer Ingle #justjingle #simonsaysstamp #cards #crafts

I absolutely LOVE this Graphic Twist die from the Simon Says Stamp Color of Fun release! Seriously... it is SO much fun! I decided to keep the graphic feel and add a pounce of color using some Kirarina Wink pens. I simply added swashes of color to my black background (because these pens are AWESOME on black!) and then die cut the pattern from a white panel to place over it. Super simple, but I love the graphic feel of it. The die isn't *quite* long enough to go down the vertical length of a card, so I lined up the lines and extended the cut for the full look.

Find Your Happy by Jennifer Ingle #justjingle #simonsaysstamp #cards #crafts

The sentiment is from the My Sunshine set. That set is a bit of a hidden gem, in my opinion. I am finding the sentiments to be SUPER useful for all kinds of cards! I love it!

What They Said

So, Kathy Rac (yes, there is more to her last name, but that's what I call her in my head. Thanks, Instagram!), is doing her awesome 30 Day Coloring Challenge. The thing of it is... Kathy is really GOOD at coloring. Jingle, on the other hand... is okay at coloring. I mean, I don't suck at it and I can hold my own, but that's about the extent of it. Sooo... I decided to play along here and there for this challenge. We'll see how it goes. I know every day isn't feasible for me, but I plan to color MORE this month than usual. That's the level of commitment I am willing to make. PRACTICE! That's what it is all about, folks!

What They Said by Jennifer Ingle #cardmaking #mamaelephant #spectrumnoir #copic

So, I stamped these little adorables. These little adorables, while adorable, are a tad bit intimidating due to the coloring required to make them even more adorable. Naturally, I decided to stamp ALL THREE of them on ONE CARD because I like to give myself more work to do. Naturally. Seriously, though, I used a combination of Spectrum Noir pens and Copics (two critters with SN's and two with Copics... can you tell the difference? *wink*) to color the critters and then used them even more to add shadow at the bottom. Whoa. That was a LOT of coloring, folks. For reals, though.

What They Said by Jennifer Ingle #cardmaking #mamaelephant #spectrumnoir #copic

Okay, I admit it. They were super fun to color. Also, I did a little research to help choose my colors. Did you know that raccoons apparently have a thing for jazz hands? For REALS. Do a google image search. You will totally see it! Actually, I need you to see it. So... here.

It's a RACCOON with JAZZ HANDS. What more could you want, really?

SEE!!!!! JAZZ HANDS!!!! Oh, MAN, I love it so much. For reals, you guys. These are the kinds of things that just make my freaking day. For. Reals.

Have a Happy, folks!

Supplies:
Washi Tape: Shhhh! It's a tiny sneak from the next Pinkfresh Studio kit. Don't tell. It's a day early.
Sequins: Studio Calico

A Five Minute Valentine

***Don't forget to enter yesterday's giveaway!***

Looking for an adorable card that you can whip up in bulk before tomorrow? Or perhaps you just need one, but you need it fast! I got these stamps in the mail the other day and didn't have a ton of time, but I wanted to make something, so I created this fun little card in about five minutes. I love it. It makes me smile!

Five Minute Valentine

The stamps are from Reverse Confetti and they are ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!!! I super love them. Had to have them. It was really that simple. HA! I then used WPlus9 inks to add color to the bowtie and hair bow, along with the little hearts and the sentiment. I colored with Copics, but kept it simple by only using flat color. I used a whopping two markers to color these cuties. Yup. Just two. It's allowed. I promise.

Five Minute Valentine (detail)

I finished it off by rounding the corners with the 1/8" corner chomper. This is a new toy in my studio and, you guys, seriously....it is AMAZEBALLS! I already had the 1/4" version, but this tiny rounded corner... BE STILL MY PAPER LOVING HEART! For reals, though. It's awesome.

And that, my friends, is what I have for you today! Be sure to stop by yesterday's post to enter to win a Gift Certificate to Simon Says Stamp!

A Dark and Stormy Night

Okay, so picture this... dark clouds overhead, it's Halloween night... and Paper Smooches Bitty Bungalows are EVERYWHERE! Bwahahahahaaaa!

Okay, you're right. Bitty Bungalows are adorable not scary, but I LOVE THEM! And I love Halloween. And I loved using them for this Halloween card. K? K. So there.

DSCN4156

I stamped and colored these adorable houses in all greys to play with the spooky Halloween neighborhood feel. I then die cut the clouds (which are actually the CAS-ual Fridays Bubble Labels) from wood veneer and inked them to make them look dark and stormy (and adorable, yes, we've covered that... LOL!).

DSCN4164

This was a fun card to create and I love that it doesn't even use Halloween stamps. And that bird... that bird SO makes me laugh for some reason. I have no idea why, but every time I see him sitting there on the house he just cracks me up, so... basically he wins.

It is going to be a very busy week on the blog this week! I hope you are ready and excited to stick around!

Have a Happy!

Hopping By a Little Late

Happy Monday, folks! I am actually going to share a couple of adorable Easter cards with you that I made prior to the holiday. I used some absolutely adorable Mama Elephant stamps and couldn't just let these ones go unshared!

Hoppy Easter

For this one, I kept it pretty classic. I added the cute little carrot to the bunny's hand and colored the grass using Spectrum Noir markers. The bunny is colored with Copics and the patterned papers are from Chickaniddy Crafts.

Hoppy Easter

And for this one, I had a bit of fun with the bunny! My sister is an actor and her boyfriend works in the film industry, so I wanted to make this one 'stage-worthy' for them. Tee-hee! He was so much fun to put together!

And that, my friends, is all I've got for you today!

Have a Happy!

You're a Good Egg, CAS-ually Speaking

It is time for a brand new CAS-ual Fridays Challenge and this one is fun!  It's the GOOD EGG challenge - we want to see you use ovals in your design!  I will be honest, I don't use much in the way of ovals, so this was genuinely a challenge for me, but I was SO glad I pushed myself because this card turned out to be a beauty!

Thanks for Everything

Yup.  *sigh*  It makes me happy.  I created the darker background behind the vellum by layering a dark grey cardstock beneath the white panel.  I used foam tape to pop up the white panel with the vellum window so there is still space between them giving it a darker, but super airy and pretty look.  I am happy with it.  Quitely so, actually.

Thanks for Everything (detail)

Be sure to head on over to the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge blog to check out what the rest of the team has come up with for this one.  I think you are going to be ready to dig some ovals out of your stash pretty quickly!!!  Good stuff, I tell ya!

Anyway...you can find links to the goodies I used on this one below.  Thanks for reading, you guys.  Sometimes I don't think I say that enough, but I really do appreciate your visits and your comments.  They pretty much make my day.  For reals.

Have a Happy!
