Yup. I had a little extra fun with this one. I seriously LOVE these old school sunglasses dies from Simon and I was excited to use them! I paired them, perhaps a bit unexpectedly, with the heart from the I See You stamp set. I love this heart! I colored it with Spectrum Noir markers, using colors that were not too strong, but bold enough to peek through the vellum I used in the glasses just a bit. Because... FUN!!!



Naturally, I added some giant googley eyes. Because: Naturally.

Drink Up! (And Eat, too...)

It's that time again, folks! We have a brand new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge for you! This week it's all about the food and drink. We want to see you create something with a food and/or drink theme. No, we aren't asking you to stamp with spaghetti sauce. Although, if you wanna go ahead and give that a shot, nobody is stopping you. I'm just sayin'. For reals, though. Probs don't do that, k? K. Glad we had this little chat.

This week we are featuring Simon Says Stamp exclusive products. Many of the girls reached for some of the fabulous new goodies in the shop, but for this one, I simply HAD to pull out a set of old favorites! It HAD to happen, you guys. For reals.



Yup. I pulled out the good ol' Adult Beverages collection. I used the image stamps, sentiment stamps, AND the dies for this one (you can find specific supply links below). I also loaded this sucker with sequins because... shiny.

Sparkle and Shine!

Hello, friends! It's time to SPARKLE AND SHINE! Yup, folks! That is the challenge this week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog! We want to see your project Sparkle and Shine! The Design Team is showcasing Pretty Pink Posh products this week. That means LOTS of awesome sequins and some fun dies, too! You don't have to use Pretty Pink Posh to play along, but if you have some, we'd love to see what you do with them!


I had some fun with Pretty Pink Posh sequins, my clear Wink of Stella, and a couple of favorite Simon Says Stamp exclusives! I stamped the grid pattern in black on white and then used some favorite Spectrum Noir colors to fill in a few of the squares with color. I then added sparkle to some of the squares with the Wink of Stella. The die cut sentiment pops off the card and the sequins add a bit of sparkle while also adding to the graphic design of the card. You guys, for reals, I love this one. I really do. I wish you could see it in person. It's pretty. I promise.

I Believe I Can Fly

Yes, we are flying high with the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge this week! The theme is Things That Fly and the design team is featuring American Crafts products this week. You don't have to use them to play along, but we would love to see what you do with them if you have some on hand!

I pulled out the Shimelle 6x6 paper pad along with the new Tim Holtz birds, with which I may or may not be slightly obsessed, to create a fun encouragement card for today!



I used the Simon Says Stamp curved die to die cut my paper to create a 'wire' of sorts for my bird to stand on. I then pulled the sentiment from the Mama Elephant Up and Away stamp set. I colored the bird using various greens and yellows from Spectrum Noir. I just love how he turned out! I did add a touch of an icy blue to his eyes, as well.



I added a few little Simon Exclusive heart sequins from Pretty Pink Posh for a bit of shine.

You Brighten My Day!

Happy Wednesday, friends! This week is everyone's favorite over at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog! It's ANYTHING GOES week!!! YAY!!! Let your creative wings take flight and create anything you'd like! The design team is using American Crafts products this week and we are LOVING THEM! Seriously, we won't even discuss how long it took for me to decide between Polka Dot Party and Plus One. I realized I used one last week, so ended up going with the other for this week. HA! If you have some American Crafts goodies on hand, we would LOVE to see you rock them, but they aren't required for the challenge!



I also pulled out a bit of Paper Smooches cuteness for this one! The stamps just seemed to go so well with these papers and I just HAD to make it happen! I mixed and matched a bit for a unique design. I think it turned out pretty adorable, if I do say so myself! LOL! Oh. And Glitter. Because, well, glitter.

I kept it fairly simple this week with a sweet thank you card using the Thanks on a Line die and some beautiful 6x6 papers from the Teresa Collins You Are My Happy paper pad.  I love these pretty patterns!
