TOADally Awesome

So, as it turns out, frogs are cute. Well, some frogs anyway. Particularly the adorable frogs in the Toadally Unfrogettable stamp set from Simon Says Stamp. I mean... JUST LOOK AT HIM!

He is colored with Copics and, well, he's just pretty much the cutest thing EVER! Nice and simple design for this one, but I feel like that image and the fun sentiment did all the work for me, so... simple it is!

I hope you have a hopping good Monday! Hee-hee.... see what I did there... cuz frogs.... cuz....

okay. I'll go now.

Thanks for stopping by!

Just A Little Boat

Yup. Just a little boat. A little adorable boat. A little adorable boat in red, white, and blue. That is what I have for you today. This adorable little boat in red, white, and blue comes from the super adorable Simon Says Stamp July Card Kit. That you need. No, for reals, though. It's awesome. And I super duper love these stamps! LOTS!

Thanks by Jennifer Ingle #JustJingle #SimonSaysStamp #cards #patriotic

To create this fun little design, I stamped the boat and colored it with Spectrum Noir pens. I stamped the water on a scrap piece of cardstock and then colored that with Copics before fussy cutting the waves with my Fiskars MicroTip Scissors. I adhered the waves with foam tape to add just a bit of dimension. YAY!

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

It's the most WONDERFUL TIME of the year! No, really, you guys. It totally is. I love Christmas. I just LOVE it! Today we have a brand new challenge on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog! We want you to create a project inspired by this Winter Inspiration board!

I love the neutrals and the pops of red in these photos! I decided to pull from that to create my card today. The Design team is featuring Penny Black products this week, and I am super loving this stamp set! Lots, you guys. For reals, though.

It's the Most Wonderful Time

I am still in love with the chalkboard technique. It is just such a great look. This stamp was begging for it, so I had to make it happen. I stamped and embossed the sentiment in white and then used Simon Says Stamp white pigment ink to add a chalky look. Love it!

I added a few sequins and some Wink of Stella sparkle to the red bunting in the background. It is happy. I like it.

Now it's YOUR turn! Create something fabulous inspired by the inspiration board and link it up over on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog. One lucky participant will win a $50 Voucher to the Simon says Stamp Store! YAY!!!

I am also linking this up to the Craft Stamper White Stamping Challenge!

Loopy Love

We are going Over the Edge with CAS-ual Fridays Challenge!  That's right!  Our challenge for you this week is to create a design with an element that is over the edge!  I decided to create a nice CAS card for this one using some new stamps from Fresh Squeezed Stamps called When Hearts Collide!  I love this fun loopy love heart!

Loopy Love

I die cut the heart from the white panel and then popped it up on the card base with foam squares.  I stamped and fussy cut the heart and used a different thickness of foam adhesive to secure it in place.  My Wink of Stella brush came in handy to add a bit of shimmer in the 'holes' of the letters!  I love that thing!  Totes, dudes.   A couple of gold and black sequins were the perfect finishing touch!

Be sure to head on over to check out the fabulous OVER THE EDGE inspiration the Girl Fridays have come up to get you ready to create something awesome!!!

A Warm and Cozy Sunset

*sigh*  Oranges and yellows are so wonderfully warm!  It was 29 degrees when I woke up this morning.  Twenty-nine.  That's not warm.  Not even a little.  So, I decided to post this card in an effort to at least warm up visually!  HA!

I Miss You

Warm and Cozy.  Right?  Right.  Trust me on this one.  I masked off the arched area and inked in various shades using the Desert Heat Kaleidacolor ink pad from Tsukineko.  I love using these ink pads for this type of application because it takes all of the guess work out of finding perfect colors to blend!  I inked the stamp for the sun in various shades, as well.

Sunset Miss You (detail)

I stamped and embossed the sentiment on a black strip and folded it into a banner.  I inked the edges with white ink to really make it stand out.  This card is fairly simple, but I really love how pretty it turned out!

I am linking this up to the AEI♥U Challenge over on the Avery Elle blog!

You can find the supplies I used for my card in the links below.

Have a Happy!
