Fun in the Rain with Chickaniddy Crafts

Today is my final post as Guest Designer on the Chickaniddy Crafts blog. I have absolutely LOVED working with Chickaniddy! Their collections are just so much fun! I have used the super fabulous Jolly Good collection, once again, showcasing the incredible versatility of this line. I love it. For reals, though.

Hello Friend

I pulled out not only the papers, but stickers and die cuts for this super fun rainy day hello card. I used simple techniques to add both color and dimension and you can read about those on the Chickaniddy blog! I just love how all of the elements come together so well!

Hello Friend (detail)

This Spellbinders® sentiment die was the perfect fit for this fun, rainy day hello! I sort of love it.

Be sure to head on over to the Chickniddy blog for details on the techniques I used and to check out the amazing inspiration provided by the Chickaniddy design team!

Thinking of You

I excited to have my second post for Viva Las Vegas Stamps up today! I fell in LOVE with this Map of the World stamp the moment I saw it and I was so excited to use it for a fun card! I cannot even lie, you guys. I love how this one turned out! Viva Las Vegas was super nice and tossed a tiny airplane stamp into my order for free and it was a PERFECT fit with the map! LOVE IT!!!

Thinking of You Worldwide

I combined the images with a couple of great sentiment stickers from Pebbles. I LOVE THEM! And this card. And the stamps. And the colors. Yup. I'm pretty much just all around in love, what can I tell ya, folks? Keepin' it real here at Just Jingle, that's all.

Be sure to head on over to the Viva Las Vegas Stamp blog and leave some love and check out the other awesome inspiration!

Kindness is Good For the Soul

Today I have my second post as Guest Designer for Neat and Tangled this month! I so love these super fun stamps! Today, I have a pretty card done in desert sand and navy using the Party Dots set and the Kindness Matters (probably my favorite one of them all) set.

Kindness is Good for the Soul

*sigh* I'm kind of loving the colors on this one. And the gentle design. These stamp sets work so beautifully together and I just love it when that happens! YAY!

Kindness is Good for the Soul (detail)

And, because it just didn't seem right to play with Neat & Tangled stamps and not do something on the 'cute' side, I made this fun little card, too using the Little Bear set and the Just Thinking of You set.

You are Beary Special

OH! And sequins. Because everyone loves Neat & Tangled SEQUINS!!! Right? Right. K. Good.

I hope you have an absolutely spectacular day! I will be heading out of work early today and into Boston to do some shopping and go to the Sam Adams Brewery and hang out with The Hubbums! And then... tomorrow we are going to the RED SOX GAME!!!!!! I'm so wicked excited about that!!!! He surprised me with it last night! I can't WAIT!!!!!!

So... with that...

Have a HAPPY!!!

Let's Celebrate! - Neat & Tangled Guest Designer

I am SUPER excited to be guest designing for Neat and Tangled this month!  I love Danielle's super cute stamps and... have you SEEN the sequins?  Um, yeah, so those are totally fabulous.  Just sayin'.

I had a little fun with the fantabulous Party Dots set for this card. I LOVE these gorgeous stamps!!!! YAY!

Let's Celebrate!

I stamped and embossed the border along the edge of my card and then filled it in a bit with some fun sequins. LOVE! Then I stamped the banner and the sentiment, cut it out, and adhered it to the card, hanging off the edge a bit.

Let's Celebrate (detail)

Have you checked out Neat and Tangled yet? If not, you TOTALLY SHOULD, dudes! Super cute stamps. For reals. Like. Super cute.

AND...on another note. I was running like twenty minutes behind today for the BEST.REASON.EVER! I pulled on a dress I haven't worn in awhile because the weather is finally nice enough to wear cute stuff again and the belt that goes with it is totally too big and I couldn't even wear it. Yup. Had to hunt down a different option. Took forever. BUT IT WAS TOO BIG!!!!! That made me happy. Well, sort of. I kinda love that belt, but maybe I can modify it or something. HA! Just had to tell someone!

Have a Happy!

Under the Weather?

Not me. I'm fine. I'm a bit sick of the weather, but that's a whole other story. HA! This adorable little Paper Smooches walrus, however, he is a bit under the weather!

This was my final card to go up on the Paper Smooches blog yesterday for my term as Guest Designer. I have SO LOVED using these fabulous new dies from Paper Smooches and I do so hope you have been inspired by my designs! I can't thank Kim enough for this wonderful opportunity!!!

Get Well

HA! He seriously cracks me up ever single time I use him! The expression on his face is just too fabulous! I love it! The walrus is from the Chilly Chums set and I pulled a couple of shapes from the Vogue Abode set to create the water bottle on his head and the thermometer. So fun!

Get Well (detail)

I die cut the sentiment with the new Get Well Phrase die from Simon Says Stamp woodgrain cardstock. I love the added texture!

I hope you are, indeed, not at all under the weather and I wish you a wonderful day, my friends!

Have a Happy!!!

Paper Smooches HEXALONGS!

I have another super fun Paper Smooches card for you today using the new Hexalongs dies! Kim calls them Hexalongs...which is a pretty cute name, but I still simply cannot help calling them squished hexagons. It's just fun! HA!

Celebrate

Yup.  It totally looks like a soccer ball.  It didn't start out that way... it sorta just happened and I kind of love it.  I die cut the navy and the woodgrain white cardstock and pieced together to create the border.  I really loved the soccer ball-style design that resulted!  A bit of red and white twine completed the look nicely!

Celebrate (detail)

I added a sentiment from the Sentiment Sampler set in Hero Arts Mid-Tone Navy ink... my new favorite ind of all time.

Honestly... I like this card. Lots. It's simple, clean, and oh, so happy! AND...it has red twine on it. I do so love red twine. Just sayin'.

Have A Happy!!!

Sail Away...Sail Away...Sail Away

Any Enya fans out there? I love Orinoco Flow! It has got to be one of the most relaxing songs every written. Of course, I love water and the ocean... growing up in New England has a way of doing that to you. So the thought of being out on the water and just escaping is so fabulous! I brought a bit of that feeling into my design for Paper Smooches this week using the new Sailboat dies!

This is a really awesome die set and, yes, the obvious use is for sailboats, but I can totally see other things coming from it later... you just wait! Mwaaahahaaahahaaaa! LOL!

Sailboat Hello

I combined the die with the amazingly fabulous Uncharted Waters collection by Glitz. I used papers from the 6x6 pad for the pieces and for the background. I used a knife to cut the waves just a bit and slipped the boat right into them to make it more realistic.  What I really love about these dies is the little outline parts that are incorporated... that's how I was able to add the great contrast on the flag and the sails.  I LOVE THAT!

Hello Sailboat (detail)

I am having SO.MUCH.FUN. with the new Paper Smooches dies this month!!! If you haven't checked them out, you totally need to head on over to the store and see them! They are AMAZING!!! And also be sure to check out what the PS Design Team is doing with them over on the Paper Smooches Blog!

As for me... I have an appointment to go to this morning and then a lunch date with my Mom! I also need to call my sister and sing Happy Birthday at the top of my lungs in my 'totally awesome' singing voice. (Please note the sarcasm of that last statement... Jingle makes things with paper... Jingle does not sing. Just sayin'.) And then... well, then I'm hoping to get some crafting in! Woot! Woot!

Have a Happy!!!

A Little Rain

Hello, friends! I have a rainy day kind of card for you today... I didn't actually mean to do two of those in a row. HA! Ooopsies! I am guest designing for Crafter's Companion and today I used their beautiful A Little Rain stamp set by Sheena Douglas. I LOVE this gorgeous stamp set! You will certainly be seeing a bit of it over the next few weeks!

A Little Rain

For this card I stamped the flowers first from the Flower Power set in Dessert Sand ink (Momento, Tsukineko) on the kraft card base. I really love that tone on tone look! After that dried thoroughly I stamped the sentiment with VersaMark and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I colored bits using Spectrum Noir markers to give it a little extra punch!

A Little Rain (detail)

Just a pretty little card to brighten someone's day! YAY!

I hope you have a super fantabulous day!

My Final Card as Sweet 'n Sassy Guest Designer!

Wow! September has FLOWN by! Today I have posted my final card as the September guest designer over at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps! I decided to create a birthday card using the awesome gear stamp from the Timeless Classic stamp set. I love this set! I have used it several times and the results always make me happy!

Happy Birthday Gears

I combined the great gear image with some really cool brads from Eyelet Outlet. I used the clock parts brad and two of the wing brads to create the perfect embellishment for this card!

Happy Birthday Gears (detail)

I have really enjoyed my time as Guest Designer over at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps! I hope you have enjoyed the cards I have shared for them, as well!

The Year's Last, Loveliest Smile

As I excitedly grabbed the last bag of pumpkin spice bagels off the shelf at the grocery store yesterday, it hit me. Fall is truly here! Of course, the cool crisp New England mornings and the fact that I have a light weight sweater on today were also a pretty strong tip off. Just sayin'. Alas, with that we say goodbye to summer and welcome in the beauty of this season of change! For today's card I decided to celebrate that transition using the beautiful Autumn Leaves Clear Stamp Set from Sweet n' Sassy Stamps as I am guest designing for them this month!

The Year's Last Smile

I stamped the leaves on the background and embossed them with gold enamel from Stampendous!. I stamped the sentiment on a simple banner and added just a touch of coordinating washi tape and some gorgeous burlap string from May Arts - a fall crafting essential!

DSCN9074

Have you begun your fall crafting? If not, pull on some comfy crafting clothes, pour yourself a hot cup of spice tea or yummy cider or pumpkin spice coffee and grab a handful of candy corn because it's time to stamp some leaves and stuff! Just sayin'!

Happy Fall, friends!

Are You Ready for Some Football???

That's right! It's September and that means that fall is quickly approaching! Here in Massachusetts fall means many things to many people. We have apple picking, cider, hay rides, pumpkin patches, the best Yankee Candles of the year, cool, crisp, beautiful air, colorful, crunchy leaves on the sidewalk...we've got it all! BUT...one thing tends to stand out around here. Football. Fan or not, you really can't avoid it. It's just part of the landscape here in New England. You see, our sports fans tend to be a bit...hmmm...passionate. Sure. We'll use that word instead of crazy. HAHAHA! So, this being my first post over at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps as guest designer for September, I decided to celebrate that football tradition with this fun card!

Dream Big

I used the super cute Cocoa football stamp from the All Star Cocoa set for this card! He is SO CUTE!!! I layered My Mind's Eye squares cut with Spellbinder's dies for the background. Cocoa is paper pieced with Coordinations Cardstock and Basic Grey paper for the football. A bit of May Arts burlap string is the perfect fiber for this card! I wanted a fall type sentiment so I decided to go with sort of a back to school vibe with the Dream Big sentiment from the Dream Big set. This is a gorgeous stamp set! I love the sentiments in it!

Dream Big (detail)

I hope you will check out Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps! I'll be designing with their fabulous team all month! YAY!!!!

Have a super happy Tuesday!!!
