How Did Bandaids Get To Be Something We Consider Cute?

I mean, really. It is a question to ponder. In reality they are kind of icky. I mean, their sole purpose is to block blood from streaming out of our bodies when the skin isn't interested in doing it's job. BUT, somehow, every little kid wants one, and now, as grown ups, we make cute stamps and dies out of them and use them on cards. Odd, really. But I'm okay with odd. Actually, I THRIVE with odd. So, alas, here we go... let's do the cute bandaid thing.

Get Well Soon

SEEEEEE!!!!! They really ARE wicked cute! For reals, though. Adorbs, people. A.Dorbs. I super love these adorable stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn! I used both the Get Well Soon Stamps and the adorable coordinating Lawn Cuts dies. These are both small sets, so they are super inexpensive and totally adorable which pretty much adds up to my favorite combination EVER! For reals, though. I'm kinda cheap.

The background on this card is totes my favorite part! I used light pencil lines drawn with a t-square to get everything in place. It seems like it might be arduous, but the truth is that it was very quick work. I stamped the orange heart in just a few of the bandaids for cuteness. Because...cuteness. AND, because glitter, I used my Wink of Stella to add a touch of sparkle to the chick's nursing hat and the hearts, as well. YAY!

I created this card with inspiration from the Lawnscaping Summer Color Combo Challenge. This is the first time I've played along with Lawnscaping! I'm not really sure how that happened, but I'm glad I'm in now!

Under the Weather?

Not me. I'm fine. I'm a bit sick of the weather, but that's a whole other story. HA! This adorable little Paper Smooches walrus, however, he is a bit under the weather!

This was my final card to go up on the Paper Smooches blog yesterday for my term as Guest Designer. I have SO LOVED using these fabulous new dies from Paper Smooches and I do so hope you have been inspired by my designs! I can't thank Kim enough for this wonderful opportunity!!!

Get Well

HA! He seriously cracks me up ever single time I use him! The expression on his face is just too fabulous! I love it! The walrus is from the Chilly Chums set and I pulled a couple of shapes from the Vogue Abode set to create the water bottle on his head and the thermometer. So fun!

I die cut the sentiment with the new Get Well Phrase die from Simon Says Stamp woodgrain cardstock. I love the added texture!

I hope you are, indeed, not at all under the weather and I wish you a wonderful day, my friends!

Have a Happy!!!
