Guest Designing with SRM!

Are you familiar with SRM Stickers? First of all, let me tell you that they offer MUCH more than stickers. Second of all, the stickers are actually super awesome and I've been a huge fan for a long time. I am so excited that they recently added Jane's Doodles Stamps to their product line! Today I am lucky enough to be doing a guest post over on their blog featuring this super fun card!

Thank You by Jennifer Ingle for SRM Stickers #justjingle #srmstickers #spectrumnoir #cards

For this card I used the super cute Little Miss Mia stamp set for my images. I absolutely LOVE this adorable little pup! SO CUTE! I colored him with Spectrum Noir pens and masked him before stamping the kite. For reals, you guys... CUTENESS!

Thank You by Jennifer Ingle for SRM Stickers #justjingle #srmstickers #spectrumnoir #cards

For the sentiment I used one of the fabulous Thank You stickers, which are now available in the SRM Store as stamps, too! WHAT?! Awesome. I love options! A couple of cute stitches stickers accent the sentiment banner nicely.

Be sure to head on over to my post on the SRM blog to check out the inspiration there and to leave some love!

To Tutu or Not To Tutu and a Free Digi Stamp

That, my friends is the question. Apparently the answer to that is DEFINITELY to tutu. Most certainly. Indeed. Wouldn't you say?

I am actually QUITE excited to share this card with you today! My friend Elena over at Just Me Prints has created an absolutely adorable and, WAIT FOR IT.....

...absolutely FREE

super cute digi stamp! What?! Yup. Totes cuteness and totes freeness. It's all happening. AND, I was lucky enough to get that image a bit early to show it off a bit!

Beach Girl Hi

Ummm... you are seeing that image, right? CUTEST EVER! And as soon as I saw it I just KNEW I'd have to add a tutu. It was necessary folks. For reals, though. To create the tutu I ran a quick gather stitch through the edge of a sheer piece of ribbon. I stitched the ends under just a bit and adhered it with some Scor-Tape. She is colored in Spectrum Noir's finest colors of the summer. HA!

Beach Girl Hi (detail)

Be sure to head on over to Elena's Blog, Just Me Prints to download the free digi! The complete list of those offering some adorable inspiration can be found below! Happy Hopping!

Jingle (that's me!)

You can find the links to the other products I used below. I have also included this photo of the Spectrum Noir pends I used to color this sweet image!

A Vintage Feathery Feel

When trying to describe this card that's pretty much what I cam up with. It has a vintage feathery feel to it. LOL! I'm still not sure if it fits, but I'm going with it. K? K. Glad we got that settled.

I created this one using some fun stamps from Crafter's Companion. I first stamped the clock hands in a tone on tone color and then heat embossed the feathers using a verdigris embossing powder. Mine is an older one from Stampin' Up!, but I think a few companies make it now.

Happy Birthday

The clock hands are from the Ornate Accessories set in the Stamp It Australia line and the feathers are from Sheena's A Little Bit Sketchy Falling Feathers set. I added a simple sticker sentiment from SRM Press.

Happy Birthday (detail)

In other news... my Just Jingle Facebook Page has exceeded 1200 likes! That means it's time to CELEBRATE! I have a giveaway week planned for later this month and it is going to ROCK! LOTS of awesome sponsors! Be sure to follow my blog and like my Facebook page, if you don't already so you don't miss out!

Just sayin'. *wink* *wink* Here is the card I am going to be sharing with you today.

Be Merry

Isn't that fun?!!! I am particularly excited because it not only uses great inks from IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko®, but it also uses both stamps AND stencils from Stampendous! The Stampendous! jumbos now come with a free stencil and I am ALL over that! I love it!

Here are the supplies you will need:

IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® VersaMark™ Watermark Ink
IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® VersaMagic™ Chalk Pigment Ink in Red Magic
IMAGINE Crafts® InkBlushers™
IMAGINE Crafts® Embossing Powder™
Stampendous! Cling Jumbo Dear Santa set
Simon Says Stamp Mod Tree Die
Enamel Dots
May Arts Red Grosgrain
SRM Stickers Border Stickers

Be Merry Step 3

Step 3. Adhere ribbon to the edges of the stenciled/stamped area and affix border stickers.

Be Merry Step 4

Step 4. Die cut tree and adhere to card. Affix enamel dots.

How to Give a Stamper a Heart Attack

Yup. That'll do it. Tell 'em they can't use stamps on their card. WHAAAAT? Yup. That's this week's CAS-ual Fridays challenge, folks, and I know you can do it! It's not that I ALWAYS use stamps... I just almost always use them. HA!

Funky Glasses Thank You

Ummm... yup. This card is totally fun, dudes. For reals. I'm not usually an animal print kinda girl, but I loved this fun one from Crate Paper and thought it would be super cute to combine it with that great glasses chipboard sticker! I added a fun sentiment sticker from SRM Stickers to finish it off. SUPER SIMPLE, but I think it turned out rather adorable, if I do say so myself. And I just did. So there. HA!

funky glasses thank you (detail)

This week, one lucky winner is going to win a fabulous prize pack from SRM Stickers! I know you will love it because they sent one to each DT member and it's AWESOMESAUCE! Just sayin'. So, your mission, if you choose to accept it: Create a fabulous CAS card with NO STAMPS! Then come on over and link it up! 'Cause you rock!

Have a SUPER HAPPY!!!! (It is, afterall, Friday.)

Hipster Hippo Wants You to Be Mine!

Does that even make sense?  I don't think that makes sense.  Meh.  No worries.  Most of my titles don't make much sense anyway.  HA!

But...for reals... Hipster. Hippo.

How could that be bad?  I mean, for REALS, folks!  It can't be.  It simply cannot be bad.  Just sayin'.

Be Mine

Yup. Totally lovin' it. Totally. The hippo is one of the brand new Avery Elle stamps!!! I got mine from I {heart} Papers on Friday and couldn't WAIT to ink that sucker up! TOO MUCH CUTENESS!!!!

I added some fun brads from Eyelet Outlet along with stickers from SRM Stickers to make my card super fun! LOVE!

Hippo Hipster Valentine (detial)

I colored him with Spectrum Noir markers...I'm starting to do this whole coloring thing a bit more often... not sure about my actual skills with it, but, alas, I do believe it's coming along. I plan to take a coloring class at CKC Manchester in April, so THAT will be super fun!

So, there you have my Hippo Hipster Valentine card. It makes me enormously happy. Enormously. Just sayin'.

Have a Happy!!!

I Love You Like a Sponge Loves ... Doing Spongy Things

'Cause that happens. Sponges. Doing spongy things, that is. Wellllllll.... it's obvious that the week is winding down and I'm not getting enough sleep, now isn't it? HA! I kid, I kid! I'm actually perfectly coherent when I write these things, which should probably concern you to an even deeper level, but it's all good. I'm okay with it. Just sayin'.

Love Always

Sooo... what does love have to do with sponges and what do sponges have to do with Moxie Fabness? I am SO glad you asked! It all boils down to the Stamp With a Homemade Stamp Challenge in the Moxie Fab World. Yup. Cath asked us to create our own stamps. I had a bunch of ideas. This is one of them. If I get lucky, I shall execute yet another before the week end concludes, however, I make no promises to this effect, as I simply cannot be sure. For reals.

My stamp? A sponge. Yup. Like...the common kitchen kind. NO...it didn't come in a cool heart shape, but it's amazing what a pair of good, strong Fiskars can do, lemmetellya! (Yup. That's totally a word now. Go for it.)

Love Always (detail)

Why a common kitchen sponge you ask? 'Cause, DUDE, check out that texture! That's why! It's kinda awesome, actually. And you can get different results if you use it mildly damp (like when they are fresh from the package.. isn't that kinda gross? It always grosses me out. I kinda hate it, but it did come in handy for this project... k... mini diversion concluded...) or you can use them dry to get a crisper feel to the texture. It's fun to play with the options.

I stamped it with ink and cut it out for this one. Then I added it to my layered card base with foam tape and used a fabulous SRM Sticker sentiment and three naked wood veneer hearts from Studio Calico. I don't often use them naked, but it seemed to work for this one, so I went with it. YAY!

K... well, I had better let you go, as it seems I might be in a rather chatty mood this morning and my fingers just KEEP TYPING! AAAAHHHH!!! THEY ARE TAKING OVER! SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!

Yeaaaaah.... k. That's done now.

Anyway... have a HAPPY!

Be Mine! - Squeeze-A-Palooza Goodness!

***This is my second post of the day! Be sure to check out my Contenders Blog Hop post to see one of the cards I submitted (that was not chosen) to the most recent call for Paper Crafts Magazine!***

It's time for the Fresh Squeezed Stamps Squeeze-a-Palooza!!! (Yup. That's totally actually a thing. Just sayin'.) And a GREAT time it is! Here's how it works, Fresh Squeezed Stamps offers you an inspiration photo or two or three, along with a theme and then gives you a free digi stamp and tells you to go NUTS! You can use the free digi or you can use any FSS stamps you have at home! Just create a card and link it up!

{Be Mine}

This is the card I created using the fabulous Subway Series: Spring. I stamped the Valentine's subway art stamp a few times on pink and red cardstock, heat embossed them, and then Sally the Cricut die cut the hearts for me. (*Love her!*) This card was SUPER fun to create! I had a blast with it! The die cut is from Simon Says Stamp and the sentiment is a sticker from SRM Stickers.

Soooo...you should totally check out the challenge and join in! There will even be TWO winners! One is chosen as a 'Reader's Choice' (whichever card has the most 'likes'when the challenge closes) and the other is a random winner - both get a free set of stamps, so check it!

Happy New Year!

Yikes! Yesterday was a busy one! LOL! Three posts in one day! And...in all of that rush, I don't know if I got a chance to properly say HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope you have thoroughly enjoyed your celebrations! I had a wonderful holiday season, overall, and I am ready to move forward! Usually I have a bit of trouble letting go of Christmas, but this year I'm good. I loved it, and now I'm good. Strange, but I'm going with it. HA!

I have a fun Runway Inspired New Year's card to share with you today! Here is the photo from the Runway Inspired Challenge Blog that set me off in the perfect direction for this fun card!

The design is from the Bibhu Mohaptra Spring 2013 line! Fresh and ready to go! YAY! Those colors, of course, stood out brilliantly, but I also wanted to capture a bit of that burst pattern. I found this stamp from the Market Street Stamps Shine On set to be a perfect fit!

Happy New Year

I used several ink colors (four total, two blues, a green, and a yellow) to ink my stamp. I LOVE how that turned out! I then added a skyfield of twinkling stars by adding Eyelet Outlet Brads to my design! SO FUN! The sentiment is a perfect sticker from SRM Stickers! LOVE THAT!!!

Happy New Year (detail)

I also have another fun card up over on the Eyelet Outlet blog using this same stamp set in a totally different way! You can check that out HERE!

So...I hope your day is pretty much AMAZING!!!

Walrus Santa (detail)

The adorable walrus is from the Chilly Chums Paper Smooches set and that FREAKING ADORABLE Santa hat is from the Eyelet Outlet! LOVE.IT!!! The super fun twisted twine is from May Arts, of course!
