Hello, folks! It's time for a fun new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge! This week we want to see Things with Wings! Incorporate something with wings into your design for this week to play along! The Design Team is using Doodlebug Design products this week. You don't have to use them to play along, but if you have some, we'd love to see how you rock that cuteness!

Hello by Jennifer Ingle #JustJingle #SimonSaysStamp #DoodlebugDesigns

So, you know that sticker stash you have? Did you know you can create complete adorable card designs using it? 'Cause you totally can! And I had SO much fun challenging myself to do just that with these Doodlebug Design stickers! I added a fabulous little sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Handwritten Sentiments stamp set to finish off my design!

Pro-tip: If you want to use foam tape to adhere your stickers, adding dimension and offering more layering options, simply brush the back with your EK Success Powder Tool to remove the sticky from the back!

And now it's YOUR turn! Create something inspired by our Things With Wings challenge theme and link it up over on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog for your chance to win a $50 Gift Certificate to the Simon Says Stamp Store! WOOT! WOOT!!!

Feathers of Love

Have you SEEN the brand new August Pinkfresh Studio Kit? It really is another great one! I have created this card using the kit and the vellum from the recently released Happy Things 6x6 collection. These papers? Yup. Totally and completely in love!

The stamps in the kit are super cute and I, of course, super love the gold puffy alphabet! SO CUTE! I added just a bit of gold string behind the sentiment for some fun! Love it!

Because Gold and Wood Veneer

Hello, friends! I am showcasing an awesome card using the July Pinkfresh Studio kit over on the Pinkfresh Studio blog today! This is another one that required  nothing more than the kit. I LOVE it when that happens!

Golden Thanks by Jennifer Ingle #JustJingle #PinkfreshStudio #cards #thankyou

I used the gorgeous gold letters (Seriously... I love them so much. For reals, though.) along with the wood veneer hearts to create a clean and simple design that shines!

Golden Thanks by Jennifer Ingle #JustJingle #PinkfreshStudio #cards #thankyou

I love the detail on these wood veneers. That bit of extra design adds so much and turns them into a wonderful focal point rather than simply an extra embellishment. LOVE!

In other news, the studio is coming along! I finally have a desk that is workable and boxes are slowly but surely finding themselves empty. Happy days, folks! Happy days! I should be back to full create mode very soon!

P.S. I apologize for the light content around here as of late. We are moving house and things are a bit crazy and my studio is 100% out of commission at the moment. I will be back up and running in a couple of weeks! Thank you for your patience.

Guest Designing with SRM!

Are you familiar with SRM Stickers? First of all, let me tell you that they offer MUCH more than stickers. Second of all, the stickers are actually super awesome and I've been a huge fan for a long time. I am so excited that they recently added Jane's Doodles Stamps to their product line! Today I am lucky enough to be doing a guest post over on their blog featuring this super fun card!

Thank You by Jennifer Ingle for SRM Stickers #justjingle #srmstickers #spectrumnoir #cards

For this card I used the super cute Little Miss Mia stamp set for my images. I absolutely LOVE this adorable little pup! SO CUTE! I colored him with Spectrum Noir pens and masked him before stamping the kite. For reals, you guys... CUTENESS!

Thank You by Jennifer Ingle for SRM Stickers #justjingle #srmstickers #spectrumnoir #cards

For the sentiment I used one of the fabulous Thank You stickers, which are now available in the SRM Store as stamps, too! WHAT?! Awesome. I love options! A couple of cute stitches stickers accent the sentiment banner nicely.

Be sure to head on over to my post on the SRM blog to check out the inspiration there and to leave some love!

A Wintry Hello with Chickaniddy Crafts

Today is my second day on the Chickaniddy Crafts blog as Guest Designer. Can I tell you how much I am LOVING this Jolly Good Collection SO MUCH! It was great for holiday cards, perfect for New Year cards, and now, I've used it for a pretty winter Hello card! And just wait... I have another great use for this collection coming later this month! Seriously...it does it all. And that, my friends, is the mark of an awesome collection, if you ask me!

Winter Hello

For this card I used three different patterned papers and cut them into strips to create a unique and pretty background. I added a small strip of washi tape and then the rest of the card was easy peasy! EASY PEASY, you guys! For reals, though.

Wintry Hello (detail)

I dusted the back of a snowflake sticker with my EK Success powder tool and used foam dots to attach it to the card. I used a mini brad from the Jolly Good collection in the center. I love the finish on these brads... not too shiny, but not dull, either. They have a great texture and the colors are gorgeous! I then grabbed a stamp from the Date Night collection to stamp the sentiment and added an enamel star to finish it off.

Be sure to head on over to the Chickaniddy Crafts Blog for TONS of inspiration, you guys! Their team is really amazing!

Have a Happy!

Hello, BUDDY! Yup. YOU! It's good to see you! So glad you stopped by. Would you like a cupcake?! Some tea? K. Welllll.... you might have to go buy a cupcake and tea because we aren't actually physically in the same place, but if you do, let me know, and I'll go get them, too, and we can have cupcakes and tea together all over the WORLD! DUDE. That would rock. We should do that sometime, for reals, though. For. Reals. ANYWAY.... We have a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge for you and it's probably your favorite one!!! It's ANYTHING GOES week! Woot! Woot! The Design Team is featuring both CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and Technique Tuesday products, so, naturally, I decided to use BOTH. Because I'm a fan. Of both. For reals, though. LOVE!

Okay, so here's the thing. I kind of love this card. It makes me happy. That's all I can even say. Okay, not really, 'cause I'm about to say more, buy you get the idea, I'm quite sure. I created the background using the Linked Fri-Dies from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and I super love that look. Super love. The sentiment? Yup. Totally a sticker. It's from the Simple Stories Good Day Sunshine collection and it makes me exceedingly happy. Exceedingly, folks. That's a lot of happy syllables. Okay, four, but whatevs.

I Quite Like You! {Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge}

This is My SECOND post for the day! Be sure to scroll down or click here to check out the fun new IN THE CARDS release from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps!
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog

Happy Wednesday! It's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge! This week our challenge is all about SPRING FLOWERS! Fortunately, Spring appears to be finally arriving here in the Boston area! YAY! We are looking at sunny and temps in the mid 60's (F) today, so that makes me happy! The design team is playing with some fun products from Penny Black this week! You don't have to use Penny Black goodies for the challenge, but we would love to see what you do with them if you have them!

Now, I have a confession to make...this card was so easy I sort of felt like I was cheating! HA! I pulled out some gorgeous Chickaniddy Crafts papers and a set of Penny Black stickers and it just came right together! So easy and so fun!

I Quite Like You

I heat embossed a super cute sentiment from the WPlus9 Quite Like You stamp set in white and then just added the stickers directly to the paper! I used my EK Success Powder tool to prep the patterned paper for embossing. That thing is AMAZING!!! I love how well it works! I love how they melt right into the paper so you can't see the edges at all.
