All Creatures Great and Small

Hell, friends! Well, last week's All Things Bright and Beautiful challenge was pretty awesome, but now we have to keep that fun going this week with a new challenge. It seems only natural to go with All Creatures Great and Small! Yup! We want to see you create something with a critter of some kind! The design team is featuring Paper Smooches products today, so you are going to see some super cute stuff over on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog today!

Miss You

This card is one of those that just sort of came together by accident, but I do love it. It is sweet and colorful, and just makes me smile. I used the Paper Smooches Blossoming Buds and Paws for a Cause sets along with Chameleon pens for this one. I kept the design simple.

Flying High With An Awesome Die!

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog

It's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge and this week we are going DIE CRAZY! That's right! We want to see you pull out those dies and use 'em! (That is, after all, the actual reason you bought them...I know, it's hard to remember that sometimes. ;) ) The design team is using Simon Says Stamp exclusives this week! You don't have to use them for the challenge, but if you have them we LOVE to see how you rock them!

I pulled out three die sets for my card and I love how it turned out!

Miss You

I used the Postage Stamp Edge Die set to cut the square from some cute Chickaniddy paper and then cut the Airplane from the Jumbo Jet Die set. I LOVE those planes!!! I finished the card with some scattered hearts with a touch of Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents from the Mini Hearts Die Set. I have to tell you guys...that mini hearts die set has become a STAPLE in my studio! It is SO useful! I really love it!

Let's Get KRAFTY!

***Before we dive into the Simon Says Stamp Challenge for the day I want to let you know that I have a GIVEAWAY going on over on my Just Jingle Facebook page to celebrate my birthday!!!  There is a chance to win TWO great stamp sets!!!  Be sure to head on over to check it out!

Today we have a fun new challenge for you over at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog!  This week is all about getting KRAFTY!  Yup!  We want to see you use kraft cardstock or the color kraft in your creations!  I love kraft and I actually realized I haven't been pulling it out quite often enough as of late, so I was excited to jump into this one!  The Design Team is showing off some great products from Memory Box!  When I think of Memory Box, my mind always jumps straight to dies, but this week, I remembered that I have this beautiful Memory Box stamp so I pulled it out and used it!  LOVE!

Miss You

Kraft and white.  *sigh*  A match made in heaven!  I do so love the beautiful combination of the two!  I stamped and embossed the image and then matted it to make it a strong focal point.  The sentiment is from the new Scripty Sayings set from Paper Smooches.  I am SO loving that set!

A tad bit of May Arts ribbon added some nice warmth with a bit of color.  I like this one.  It's pretty.  For reals, though.

Now it's YOUR TURN!  Create something fabulous krafty and link it on up to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge post for your chance to win a $50 Gift Voucher to Simon Says Stamp!  WHAT?!  Yup.  Totes, for reals, folks.  Totes, for reals.

Have a Happy!!!

And don't forget to head on over to MY FACEBOOK PAGE for my BIRTHDAY GIVEAWAY!!!  Woot!  Woot!!!

A Warm and Cozy Sunset

*sigh*  Oranges and yellows are so wonderfully warm!  It was 29 degrees when I woke up this morning.  Twenty-nine.  That's not warm.  Not even a little.  So, I decided to post this card in an effort to at least warm up visually!  HA!

I Miss You

Warm and Cozy.  Right?  Right.  Trust me on this one.  I masked off the arched area and inked in various shades using the Desert Heat Kaleidacolor ink pad from Tsukineko.  I love using these ink pads for this type of application because it takes all of the guess work out of finding perfect colors to blend!  I inked the stamp for the sun in various shades, as well.

Sunset Miss You (detail)

I stamped and embossed the sentiment on a black strip and folded it into a banner.  I inked the edges with white ink to really make it stand out.  This card is fairly simple, but I really love how pretty it turned out!

I am linking this up to the AEI♥U Challenge over on the Avery Elle blog!

You can find the supplies I used for my card in the links below.

Have a Happy!
