All Things Bright And Beautiful

All Things Bright and Beautiful! That's the theme for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge this week! Yup. We're pretty darned sick of winter and thought that this would be a great time to BRIGHTEN things up by using bright, happy, beautiful colors in our projects! The Design Team is featuring Hero Arts products this week. You don't have to use them to play along, but we would love to see you rock them if you have some on hand!

Out of this World

I figured with a challenge to use bright colors it just made sense to pull out the BRIGHTEST colors I have! I used my Hero Arts neon inks for this fun card, and... yup. It's BRIGHT! LOL! I stamped the background in pink by inking only part of the stamp and then used my favorite WPlus9 tag die to create a simple tag with more bright colors.

Go Shawty, it's Your BIrthday!

Okay, I know I said I'd step away from the neon, but I PROMISE I made this card before I said that.  Promise.  For reals.  And it is SUPER CUTENESS, anyway!!!!  HA!

FIRST of all, these stamps EXIST, dude!  No, like, for reals.  Awesome. flippin'. stamps.

Go Shawty

And they are singles, so you get one image and it's companion sentiment and there are LOTS of hilarious ones!!!  They were designed by the super fab Erin Schriener for Unity Stamp Co. and you  need them all.  Well, I did, anyway.  HA!

Go Shawty (detail)

I did, of course, use the new Neon inks from Tsukineko for this one, but I mixed it up by using my waterbrush to color the image in with the inks.  I love how it turned out!  Lime sherbert, anyone?

I am linking up to Friends With Flair Friday because, well, this card obviously need sharing.  Obviously.

ALSO....I am hosting a Jamberry Nails Party and I am having a BLAST with it!  The party closes tomorrow (Saturday night), but I wanted to give my blog readers a heads up!  All the standard nail wraps are buy 3 get 1 free!  These things last about 2 weeks even WITH constant crafting (as in, my level of production, here, folks....).  AND, they are wicked super cute to boot!  Head on over to my online party to check them out!!!  A friend of mine recently became a consultant and I am trying to make this a super successful party for her!

Have a Happy, friends!

Live-Laugh-Love in NEON!

Have I mentioned how much I love the new Tsukineko neon inks?  I may have.  A time or two.  Or five.  BUT... seriously, you guys, they are just WAY FUN!!!!  I do wish they photographed just a tad bit better, but on this card I created for Crafter's Companion they turned out bright and fabulous!

Live Laugh Love

White, neon, and just a tad bit of black to make it all pop.  Hmmm... I think I like it!  I really and truly do!  I used the Sentimentals Friends and Family set.  I love these fun words and that set has some great quotes on it, too!

Live-Laugh-Love

It's simple, but it's a fun one, nonetheless.  I need to step away from the neon inks, though, dude.  I think I may be obsessed.  HA!

Have a Happy!

A Neon Song

I am so loving the latest release from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps!  Today is my day up on the blog and I was excited to mix the new Love Notes stamp set with these fabulous new neon inks from Tsukineko!  HAPPY and BRIGHT!  LOVE!

Neon Song in My Heart

I added some neon washi below the popped up panel for just a bit more bright fun!  A bit of shimmery May Arts string finishes off this cheerful card perfectly!

Neon Party People are Moxie Fab on the Runway!

Neon. It's huge. But not in a 'too much' kind of way, so I'm totally loving it. I mean, yes, it was pretty awesome back in the day, but we may or may not have gone a little bit of WAYYYYY overboard with it back then. Fortunately, middle school has come and gone and we have learned from our mistakes. HA! So, my friends, Neon is back and totally RAD, DUDE!

Over on the Runway Inspired blog, the current challenge is to be inspired by this fabulously fun little fashion snippet from Betsey Johnson who, well, let's just say the word 'subtle' is not in Betsey's vocabulary Just sayin'.

Umm.... TOTALLY FUN, people!!! Loving the flippers. Not that I suggest you wear them to the mall, it's just a fun runway look. K? K. Glad we got that under control! Whew! Anyway, that, combined with Cath's fabulous Keen On Neon Challenge in the Moxie Fab World made for a WHOLE boatload of brightly colored inspiration!

And all that inspiration, my friends, well... that led to THIS!

Neon Party People

NEON PARTY PEOPLE!!!! For reals. How much do I love this card? Lots. That's how much. CHECK OUT those colors! For reals! I know...I just said that, but it warrants a second mention. Or perhaps a third.... FOR REALS!!!!

Simply the Best Neon Party People (detail)

I stamped the sentiment using a great stamp from Technique Tuesday and then embossed it with Stampendous! white embossing powder. (LOVE that stuff!) Then I applied some super cute Japanese washi tape to ground my Neon Party People! They are from a WICKED OLD sticker pack by Meri Meri. I don't know if they even MAKE stickers anymore, but they sure did make cute ones back in the day! I added some tiny washi tape loops and some black gem stones to finish off the top! Super fun-ness!

Well, folks, that's today's excitement. HA! I hope you have a Neon-riffic kind of day! Go ahead...say it out loud. You know you want to....

How about some Fresh Squeezed NEON!

AH, yes. The neon trend. I'm kind of loving it, but, yet, not going crazy overboard with it. However, when I pulled out my Happy Hexagons set from Fresh Squeezed Stamps the other day, it hit me! NEON was NECESSARY! Just sayin'.

From Me To You

Ummm....so, as it turns out, hexagons look AMAZING in NEON yellow! And that makes me happy. HA! I embossed the hexagons with WOW embossing powder and the sentiment is embossed with Stampendous! snow powder. I love how it all just JUMPS off the black background!

From Me to You (detail)

Have you checked out Fresh Squeezed Stamps yet? In case you are just stumbling by, they are a BRAND new stamp company run by two wonderful, kind women! The designs are absolutely fabulous!!! Check out the blog for more inspiration!

Hope you have a super BRIGHT Tuesday! :)
