I recently bought these adorable flamingo dies and thought they would be a perfect fit for the summer theme! I combine them with the MFT Coffee Cup Die set to create this fun card. The sentiment is half from the Tickled Pink stamp set and half computer printed. I accented the flamingo with white colored pencil to add some dimension. The Bazzill Kraft Foil paper made the PERFECT little coffee cup sleeve! Seriously. I love that part. I really do.

Because: Gnomes

I tried, you guys, I really did. I tried desperately to NOT purchase this absolutely adorable gnome stamp set by MFT. I failed. Miserably. Honestly, it didn't even take that long. But, you GUYS, it's GNOMES!!!! Obviously I needed it. For reals, though.

Seriously. How cute is HE?! Super cute. That's how cute, my friends, super.wicked.cute. I colored him with my Spectrum Noir pens and, obviously, did the same with the tiny snail. I fussy cut them (dies are available, but I'm cheap and already own scissors). I can't even. I just love him.

To created the shaker, I used some great label dies (Labels Thirty Five) to create an embossed window and then used the same label to cut the background from chalkboard paper. I stamped and embossed the sentiment so it would sit inside the shaker box and then added some fun sequins.

This card, though, you guys... SO much fun to put together. I love these stamps. I'm officially glad I caved. HA!

Have a Happy!

You can use stamps, ink, dies, papers, or whatever your little heart desires to create a masterpiece of your own! The Design Team is using products from the ever fabulous My Favorite Things this week! You don't have to use MFT goodies to enter, but we would LOVE to see them if you have some!

I used the SUPER cute Donut Die-Namics sprinkles die to create my background. I simply ran it through my Grand Calibur multiple times in different spots to create a fun, sprinkled-fulled background! I then used the MFT Donut and Sprinkles stamp set for the sprinkles on the little die cut donut and the sentiment. This set is TOO MUCH FUN, you guys. For reals, though.

Thanks a Latte!

You guys know I love a good pun. Or a bad one, to be honest. I just can't even HELP it! I decided to play along the the MFT Card Challenges Sketch Challenge and pulled out one of the fun punny stamp sets from MFT. And gold and white. Because gold and white.

I don't work with ovals often, so this sort of intrigued me. I pulled out the Pierced Oval dies from Spellbinders to serve as my base for the die cut image. I love those pierced dies. I seriously reach for them SO STINKING MUCH.

Thanks A Latte

This has a few layers, which was kind of fun, as I don't often work in layers. I stamped the cool triangle background (from Aha Arts)in gold Delicata ink and then added a cute puffy sticker border from Pinkfresh Studio. I {HEART} PUFFY STICKERS! For reals, though. I totally do. I then die cut the oval, added it with foam tape, die cut the cup, lid, and sleeve, added that with foam tape, and then heat embossed the sentiment in gold on vellum and wrapped it around the whole lot of it! Layers can be fun, guys!

I have to be honest, I'm not usually one for sketch challenges, as working with a sketch just isn't my favorite thing in the world, but this one was very clean and simple in style and pushed me out of the box a little with the whole oval thing, so I jumped in. I am so glad I did! This card turned out super cute and was a lot of fun to create!

I love these adorable wood shapes from the Prima Coffee Break Collection! They are so much fun! I combined them with this SUPER CUTE coffee cup die set from My Favorite Things. I love it. Lots. Like, super duper lots. For reals, though. That is an awesome die set.
