She Believed In Possibilities

I kind of love this sentiment. I grabbed it from the sticker sheet that comes in the Fancy Pants Me-Ology collection pack. It's a long sticker, but I trimmed it, then added a strip of coordinating patterned paper to turn it into a banner because that sentiment is TOTALLY banner-worthy. For reals, though.

She believed in Possibilities

The rest of this card is pretty much Spellbinders AWESOMENESS! Seriously, though, you guys. That Western Sunshine die? LOVE IT! And the background is created with the Contemporary Circles die set. And yes, that's a set...a frame and the actual background. And yes, you need it. Glad we had this chat.

A few sequins add some sparkle and accent the gold sun perfectly.

I hope you have a wonderful Easter!

Have a Happy!

Friends for a Lifetime

I love when supplies make a pretty card so easy to pull together. That is exactly how this particular design came to be. I pulled out the Urban Blooms die set from Spellbinders® along with the gorgeous Doily Art embossing folder to create the layers and texture on my card.

For a Lifetime

I die cut the three layers of the flower and then colored them with Chameleon markers. This allowed me to do the color fade SUPER quickly and easily. LOVE THAT! The background uses the embossing folder. I love how Spellbinders embossing folders give AMAZEBALLS dimension. For reals, though, you guys. They are awesome. Totally, dude.

For a Lifetime

The sentiment is from a Fancy Pants ephemera pack...I think. LOL! I added a simple enamel dot to the flower center for a pop of yellow. Bright and shiny makes me happy! YAY!

P.S. So does Chocolate Peanut Butter iced coffee.

Have a Happy!

Color Coordinates with Simon Says Stamp

Hello, friends! It's time for another fun challenge from the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog! I indulged in a Peanut Butter and Jelly iced coffee this morning (yes, you read that correctly) AND I am in a crazy good mood as it is a beautiful autumn day and the trees are shining with glorious color, SOOO...that being said... I might be a little chatty this morning. K? K. Glad we covered that little tidbit.

So... back to the challenge. This week we are working with COLOR COORDINATES! Every so often Shari puts together a wonderful bunch of colors for the Simon Says Stamp blog and offers great suggestions for pulling together products using those colors for awesome cards! The challenge this week is to use this fun Color Coordinates collection!

I am LOVING these fun Simon Says Stamp colors! Loving them! Obviously they work great for Halloween, but I do think they really would work well for so many kinds of card designs. LOVE!

Trick or Treat

I absolutely LOVE this adorable Costumed Pets stamp set from Simon Says Stamp. I combined it with some great Simon Says Stamp cardstock and Inks for this fun Halloween card. It makes me smile. It really does! I colored the image with Spectrum Noir pens...I really love those things. So easy to use and very affordable, too! The patterned paper is from the Fancy Pants Me-Ology 6x6 pad. It's fabulous, too. EVERYTHING is fabulous! Or Awesome. Or cool if you're part of the team... whoa....sidetracked there... K... moving on...

Trick or Treat Puppy (detail)

I added a bit of metallic string from May Arts along with sequins and some Glossy Accents on the puppy nose for accents. Just a few little things, but a HUGE impact! Love that! Seriously, though...I impulsively add glossy accents to puppy noses. It just seems WRONG to not have a shiny little nose on those adorable little critters!

AND...as per usual, Simon is generously offering a $50 Gift Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Store to one lucky participant in this week's challenge! All you need to do is create a NEW card based on the Color Coordinates shown above and link it up to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog for your chance to win! You can link up to five projects, but they must be NEW. I hope you play along!

Have a Happy!!!

Well, That's Just Ducky!

Sometimes I choose stamps simply based on their LOA.  What is an LOA, you ask?  Well, that would be the Level Of Adorableness.  Yes.  That's totally a thing.  HA!  It has nothing to do with filling a genre I need more of or finding the perfect stamp for an upcoming project...nope... sometimes it is all about the LOA.  That, my friends, is how this super cute Souffle the Duck stamp set from Crafter's Companion came into my life.  Seriously, you guys.  That is a pretty high LOA on that little duck.  For reals.

Ducky Hello

I did a bit of paper piecing using some fun papers from the Fancy Pants Designs Memories Captured 6x6 pad.  I love these papers!  The cardstock background needed a little something, so I dry embossed it with the Petite Dot embossing folder from Crafter's Companion.  I love how much that adds!  The sentiment is a fun Lawn Fawn die.

Hello, ducky!

I had fun with this one!  Be sure to check out the Crafter's Companion Facebook page for lots of great inspiration!

Have a Happy!

...Perhaps a Very DUCKY Happy today! (Afterall, today is the first day of the year the Boston Duck Boats hit the roads/river!  And that, my friends, is your random fact of the day.  You are very welcome.)

I Wear Polka Dots Now. Polka Dots are Cool.

I love polka dots.  I really and truly do.  Actually, as I write this, I'm totally wearing a polka dotted button down that I just bought over the weekend.  I love it.  It makes me happy.  SO... that may have, indeed, been the inspiration for this fun birthday card I created for CAS-ual Fridays Stamps!

Wish Big

I used a super cute 6x6 pad from Fancy Pants Designs for this one, too.  I LOVE the patterns and the colors in this collection so much!  They went brilliantly with this great big sentiment, too!  I also pulled out one of the new ink colors and a new cardstock color from Simon Says Stamp!  You can find links to all of these goodies in the inlinkz below!  YAY for fun stuff!!!

I wish you a happy and polka dotted Monday!  Because, after all...

...I wear polka dots now.  Polka dots are cool.
