Bling it On!

Hello, friends! It's Wednesday and that means that it is time for another awesome Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge! That's right, folks, it's that time again and we have a fun one for you this week! We challenge YOU to BLING IT ON! Yup. We want to see you SPARKLE! The design team is using fun products from KaiserCraft on our projects this week. They have LOTS to choose from!

Merry Christmas Tree

I combined the absolutely GORGEOUS papers from the Base Coat 12x12 paper pad with some other awesome papers from Teresa Collins for my card.

Confession: I love the papers. Lots. BUT...I didn't buy them to make cards. Nope. I totally bought that entire paper 12x12 paper pad to use as the backdrops for my card photos. Yes, my friends, my secret is out! I, indeed, do not have all of those cool walls of brick and wood in my home. HAHAHAHAHA! Seriously, though, if you need awesome photo backdrops, this paper pad is PERFECTION.

I used the awesome Simon Says Stamp Holiday Frames Die set and did some hand stitching with DMC gold thread, with which I have fallen head over heels in love. Shhh! Don't tell my husband. K? K. Whew! That was close!

I have good news. YOU, yes, YOU, my friends, could potentially win a $50 Gift Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp store! WHAT?! Yup. Totes, you guys. Totes. All you h ave to do is create a project using 'Bling it On!' as your inspiration and link it up to the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog. We know you are awesome and we want to SEE IT! Dude. Do it. For reals, though.

Have a Happy, folks!

Fifty Shades of OHMYGAWSH!!!

For reals, you guys!  It's the FIRST CAS-ual Fridays Challenge of the new term WITH the new format, dudes.  It's gonna ROCK!!!

Yup.  Good news, though.  You don't have to use fifty.  Just use two or more shades of grey and that will be sexy enough for us, thankyouverymuch!  HAHAHA!  I crack myself up sometimes.  I really and truly do.  *sigh*

OHMYGAWSH

Ummm...I love grey.  Like, super duper LOTS of love grey.  THUSLY, it was not even remotely difficult for me to find a few different grey inks in my stash, so I decided to pull those out along with a touch of mint julep because, well, it's yummy, THAT'S why!  Right?  Right.  K.  My greys are Hero Arts charcoal, soft granite, and silver.  Mmmm.... grey! (You can find links to all below.)  I used the Exclamations stamp set from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps.  It's awesome, dudes.  For reals.

OHMYGAWSH

I would love to tell you that the popped up banner, which I LOVE, that offsets the string of gems on the bottom row quite nicely was all a part of my original scheme, however, it was totally a happy accident.  P.S.A of the day:  When using silver ink, let it dry 100% prior to erasing your guidelines.  Just sayin'.  *insert shifty eyes here*

SOOOO...here's the deal, this new design team has ROCKED this challenge and you are NOT going to want to miss out on their amazing inspiration!  A.MAZE.BALLS, people.  Plus, this post has altogether too many capital letters, so you probably need to go rest now, anyway.  It happens from time to time.  I'm not usually considered a quiet person.  What?  *crickets*

K....  so, anyway... head on over to CAS-ual Fridays, check out the inspiration and then link up your amazing shades of grey inspired project!  You are going to ROCK IT!  You have lots of time to enter and the prizes (yes, plural) are awesome, so... do it.

Have a Happy!

A little bit of Love!

The Hubbums' and my wedding anniversary is tomorrow. Thirteen years. Yikes! I thought that made a pretty darned good excuse to share a lovey card today! (Not that I need an excuse, but, whatevs. HA!) This is a simple little card I created using some awesome Bossy Joscie flair and some great heart dies from Simon Says Stamp!

iLove You

The bottom edge of the card is cut with the curved edge die (I LOVE that thing!!!!!) and then I added a simple outline with my Uniball Signo white pen. (I LOVE that thing, tooooooo!!!!!) I love how simple this card is and yet how playful it is, at the same time! YAY!

iLove You

I hope you and your family had an absolutely delightful Christmas! I was fortunate to receive lots of fun new crafty goodies, so I will be sharing some stuff made with those soon! YAY!!!!

Have a Happy!

BLING it On!

***This is my SECOND post of the day!  Be sure to click HERE to check out my Lil' Inker Designs DAY 1 Guest Post!***

It's time for a brand new challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog and we have a fun one for you today!  BLING it on!!!  That's right, we want to see your SPARKLE and SHINE!  Create a NEW super fun project showcasing some sparkle and link it up!  The design team is ROCKING the Simon Says Stamp exclusives this week!

Holiday Greetings

For my card, I pulled out the awesome Layered Holiday Tree Stamp and Die set along with some fabulous papers from the December Card kit!  I used Glitzy Glitter Paper from DCWV to create my ornaments and add that sparkle!  I am pretty much addicted to that stuff!  I die cut the circles, adhered them, and then covered them with glossy accents before dropping a tiny sequin on each one for some extra shine!

Holiday Greetings (detail)

Of course, the star needed some sparkle, too, so I stamped it with gold Delicata after die cutting and then filled it in with my clear Wink of Stella, aka:  My best friend.  HA!

So, here's the deal... someone is going to win a $50 gift voucher to the Simon Says Stamp store, sooooo....  MAKE SOMETHING!  LOL!  Link it up and rock it!  This one will go an extra week due to that whole Christmas thing, so make it happen, folks!

Have a Happy!!!
