You're My Lobster!

***This is my SECOND post of the Day!  To check out the Rock Chalk Baby Blog Hop for Erin scroll down or click here!***

Yup!  That's right!  It's time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!  And today is one of my FAVORITES!  This week we want to see your CAS creations!  Yup.  My favorite, dude.  What is CAS, you ask?  Clean And Simple!!!  Just the way I like it!  The Design Team is showcasing Kelly Purkey products this week, so if you have any, we'd love to see them, but you don't have to use them, as long as your project is CAS!

You're My Lobster

I tried to go even a little more CAS than usual to step up to the challenge this week!  I LOVE this lobster stamp, so I was excited to create this fun card.

I colored the stars with my new Wink of Stella clear glitter brush.  I am in love with that thing!!!!

One lucky challenge participant is going to win a $50 Gift Voucher to Simon Says Stamp!  Woot! Woot!!!

Have a Happy!!!

Rock Chalk Baby Blog Hop!

DUDE!  Erin's having a baby!  Woot!  Woot!  And because Erin is pretty much just awesome, we though a blog hop was in order.  A Rock Chalk Baby Blog Hop, that is!  Why Rock Chalk, well, let's just say Erin *might* be a tad bit of a KU fan.  Just a little bit.  Tiny, teensy, tinsy bit.  Or a HUGE CRAZY FANGIRL.  One or the other.  Just sayin'.

If you came over from Jen's blog, you are already on the right track!  ROCK CHALK!  If not, you may just want to head on over to Aga's blog to start from the beginning, because folks, we've got a pretty spectacular group of designers on this train.  Just sayin'.

Hellooooooo handsome baby

So, being that it's Erin's kid and all, I HAD to pull out some of my Unity Stamps designed by Erin!  I HAD too.  Well, she hasn't done baby ones yet.  Figures.  HA!  BUT, this Helllloooooo Handsome seemed absolutely PERFECT!  So, my friends, I used it!  I combined it with a set from Simon Says Stamp and some super pretty greys and yellows for a sweet baby card!  Yay!

You're Awesome And Such...

Happy Tuesday, folks!  Any day that starts with a pumpkin pie chai and a pumpkin bagel is bound to be a good one, so that's what I'm going with for today!  YAY!  I have a super fun card to share with you today using some awesome stamps designed by my friend, Nina Yang, for Avery Elle!

You're Awesome

My card uses both Nina's new Simply Tags: Christmas set and the Texture Tiles:  Be Cute set.  I actually made this one for the fabulous Cath because, well, she is just awesome.  As she is leaving Moxie Fab World, I have thought much about how much she has done for me and my creative world via that blog.  Cath gave me the push to become a better designer.  She made me feel like I could really do this thing.  She made me realize that I could be one of those girls who gets published and featured and designs for awesome companies.  All this came from a couple of little challenge wins over on the Moxie Fab World blog a few years ago.  It came from CATH pointing out that I, too, could be awesome.  And now, I look back at the opportunities I've had and it's pretty darned amazing.  So, Cath, thanks for being awesome.  You changed this girls' world.

I LOVE these stamps!  I have a fun Christmas card I created with them along with some other Avery Elle stamps that I will share soon, AND there will be even MORE fun coming because I have the coordinating dies on the way as we speak!!!  YAY!!!!  I'm so excited!

Anyway, Have a Happy, folks!  You deserve it!

Wishing You Eight Happy Nights

The Holidays are officially upon us and up first this year is Hanukkah!  (Yes, for reals... it starts the night before Thanksgiving this year.)  SOooo... if you are Jewish or if you have Jewish friends and you want to give them their holiday cards in a timely fashion, it's time, dude.  It's time.

I created this fun (and super easy to mail) Hanukkah card using some FABULOUS stamps from CAS-ual Fridays stamps!  It's up on their blog today, too, actually!  YAY!!!!  I stamped the background repeatedly to cover the entire panel in a light ink and then overstamped with dark blue ink to achieve the layering without additional bulk.  To add just a bit of pizzaz I heat embossed Stars of David over each candle in silver.  I kinda love that.  Just sayin'.

I really kind of love this card.  It's simple, but super pretty and it just makes me smile!  I like to smile.  It feels better than that other stuff.. you know... like scowling and such.  Just sayin'.

I hope you have a fantabulous day with an extra ray of sunshine today!

Have a Happy!

Celebrate the Season CAS-ual Style!

It's time for a brand new CAS-ual Fridays Challenge!  This week we are playing with EMBOSSING!  Heat embossing, dry embossing, you name it, we've got it all!  If you saw my Halloween Greetings card yesterday, you saw some PRETTY cool embossing going on there.  For today's card I have a VERY CAS style with both dry embossing and a simple heat embossed sentiment.

Celebrate the Season

Umm... this card just makes me happy.  For reals.  That embossing folder is a BRAND NEW one from Crafter's Companion and it is actually called Beach Huts, but as soon as I saw it all I could imagine was a row of pretty little holiday houses!  SO...that's what I created with it!  A bit of glitter glue made for perfect twinkle lights!

Be sure to head on over to the CAS-ual Fridays blog to check out what the Girl Friday team has created!  It's a seriously awesome display over there today!

Have a Happy!
