Jingle All The Way!

Okay, first off, let me be completely and utterly honest with you.

I buy stamp sets with 'jingle' sentiments just because it's my name and I love that.

K. Now that you know that, and it's all out there and in the clear, I feel as though we can move forward with this open and honest relationship. Transparency is everything, is it not?

*insert cheese-tastic wink here*

But, for reals, you guys...I REALLY LOVE Jingle-ish sentiments and I REALLY love cuteness, so this new Bebunni set coming from Crafter's Companion in a few days is REALLY making me happy. Like, lots of happy. For reals. Lots. Happy. Lots of happpy. K. Moving on.

Jingle All the Way

Ummmm... HOLY CUTENESS, BATMAN! For REALS, though people. That is a seriously adorable image. I colored him with my Spectrum Noir markers and just a touch of Gold from my Wink of Stella brush on the jingle bell. YAY! (The colors I used are as follows in case you have them and want to create something in this ilk. P.S. I love the word ilk. P.P.S. I shouldn't write on Saturdays, my mind obviously likes to wonder to far away lands. P.P.P.S. I'm going back to those colors now: TN1, TN2, TN3, TN4, TN6, PP1, PP3, PP5, GG1, GG2, GG3, GT1, GT2, and True Black)

I used a strip of American Crafts glitter tape along the bottom along with some enamel dots from My Mind's Eye to accent the fun image. You really need to keep your eye on the Crafter's Companion Facebook page for more Bebunni cuteness! This release... OH.MY.CUTE. Seriously, you guys. I'm LOVING it!

So, that's Bebunni in a reindeer suit. I thought it was a moose, though, so if you thought it was a moose, that's cool, too. Moose are cool now. Moose? Meese? Nope. Moose. K.

Have a Happy!

Jingle All The Way

Today is a bit of a bittersweet post, as it is my LAST post for Newton's Nook Designs!  I have SO enjoyed being a part of this fantastic design team and I hope you have enjoyed the projects I have shared along the way!  Jen has been a joy to work with and I can't wait to watch her company grow from the sidelines!  I figured it was only proper for me to pull out the Jingle stamp from the Holiday Wishes set for my final card!  I mean, really... it just makes sense!  HA!

Jingle All The Way

I also used the super pretty ornament string from the same set.  Actually, to be honest, I've been dying to ink up that stamp, so that's what I started with and the rest of the card sort of took off from there.  I love how this one turned out!  It is done with my favorite color, red, it has a bit of sparkle on the roofs of the houses thanks to my trusty ol' Wink of Stella brush pen!

I colored the ornaments with Spectrum Noir pens and added a bit of sparkle with my Wink of Stella to those, as well.  I used a silver gel pen to add silver to the ornament hangers.  I would have used a silver Wink of Stella, but I don't own one yet... in time, my dear friends, all in due time!  *wink*  *wink* The embossing folder is the Beach Huts folder from Crafter's Companion. I have decided it's a Christmas embossing folder and I don't care who wants to argue that point. It is. That's final. For reals, though...it is a SUPER cute one for Christmas!!!

Jen has written a wonderful little post including some of my cards over on the Newton's Nook Blog today, so be sure to head on over there to say hello!  Thanks for being awesome!

Have a Happy!

P.S.  Did you know that Simon Says Stamp carries Newton's Nook Designs stamps now?  Ummm... YUP!!!  So be sure to add some on to your next order!  They are super fun!!!

It Has A Jingle Stamp In It.

Yup.  That's pretty much all it takes to get me to love a stamp set.  It has a 'Jingle' stamp in it.  You see, as you can imagine, I am rather fond of sets with 'Jingle' sentiments.  'Cause, well.... yeah... you got there.  SOOoooo... when I saw this super fun holiday sentiment set from the Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release I knew EXACTLY which one I wanted to use first!  Just sayin'.

Jingle all the Way

Yup.  That card totally has my name on it.  For reals.  'Cause everyone OBVIOUSLY wants to put my name on their Christmas cards.  HA!  No, but really... they do.  You do.  It's okay... I give you permission.  Hahahahaha!  I seriously crack myself up sometimes.  For reals, though.

Oh, Christmas Tree, Oh, May Arts Christmas Tree...

....How Lovely ARE your Riiibbooooonnns! YAY! I finally got my Christmas Tree up and it is COVERED with May Arts ribbon! I love it. I really really do. Just sayin'.

Christmas Tree

I used two different ribbons for my tree. First, I put the lights on, then I wrapped it in Sheer Twinkle ribbon (3"), keeping it nice and billowy! I love how the lights twinkle through the pretty ribbon!

I added long strips of the gorgeous navy blue Faux Linen ribbon starting from the top and gently pushing it between branches in lines down to the bottom. Again, I kept it loose and a bit billowy. I love how pretty the faux linen is!

DSCN9874

The blue and white with the twinkle lights makes me SOOO happy! I added some sparkling glittered snowflakes to the tree and then made a big 'ole flopsy-wopsy bow for the top of the tree with the faux linen ribbon. Yup. That's the official name of this bow type. I mean, really? Would I make something like that up? HAHAHAHAHA!

Flopsy Whopsy Bow

And underneath the tree, well, THERE is a special friend! JINGLE!!! Jingle is a wonderful stuffed dog from Hallmark that helps you read stories! He barks and whimpers and sings all at the right times! He's GREAT!!!!! Just sayin'. Oh...and his name is Jingle, so that automatically makes him the bestest. For reals, though.

So, my friends, I hope you have enjoyed my little Christmas Tree tour! If you would like to see more gorgeous ribbon adorned trees, check out the May Arts blog today! The Ribbonistas have done some amazing decorating with ribbon!!!

Jingle Out...both of us. Just sayin'. ;)
