Made With Love

Happy Wednesday!  Hey!  Guess what?  It's NOT snowing!!!  It's a MIRACLE!  LOL!  I am excited to share a card with you for our Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!  The challenge is to create cards with a Wedding or Anniversary theme.  This week the Design Team is using some Prima goodies!  They have such a wide range of pretty things!  I wanted to find something a bit different that not everyone might think of when they think Prima, so I went with this great pocket pad!  I also pulled out some of the Lizzie Anne Designs stamps and dies that are exclusive to Simon Says Stamp for my card!

The Best Things

If a marriage isn't made with love, well, than I would say there isn't much hope.  My sentiment isn't necessarily the first one considers when creating a wedding or anniversary card, but I think it works so beautifully!  And...if you look closely, you will see that the gift card tucked into the pocket is for Michael's!  I know if MY husband gave me this anniversary card I'd be a pretty happy girl!  :)  For reals, though.

Made With Love (detail)

I used some fun stuff on this card!  Dies, wood veneer, AWESOME papers, and, like I said, some super cute stamps and dies!  You can find them all in the inlinkz at the bottom of this post!

And now it's YOUR turn!  Create a NEW Wedding or Anniversary themed card and link it up over at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog for your chance to win a $50 Gift Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Store!  DUDE!  If you need help spending that, just give me a heads up.  *wink*  *wink*

Have a Happy, folks!  I certainly plan to do so!

Raindrops on Roses and Whiskers on Kittens

This week is a fun one over at the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog! We are playing favorites!

The Design team is pulling out our favorite tools, stamps, and/or other products! I had some fun with this one, let me tell ya!

Jingle All The Way Gift Card Holder

I created a gift card holder. I began with some Neenah Desert Storm cardstock, because I absolutely LOVE that stuff! I die cut some Echo Park paper using a Simon Says Stamp exclusive die and then embellished with some fabulous May Arts ribbon! My sentiment, with my NAME IN IT!!!!!! is embossed with Stampendous! white embossing powder. SERIOUSLY, folks! Favorites ALL around! These are all products that I can honestly stand behind and tell you that I LOVE!

Do You Give Gift Cards?

I have to be honest, I don't.  At least, not often.  I do on occasion, but I REALLY like buying stuff for people.  LOL!  I think it's FUN!  But...sometimes you want to tack on a little something extra or you know that a gift card is really the BEST choice for that certain someone, so I also like to have some cute ways to present gift cards ready during the holidays.

The Gourmet Rubber Stamps Sketch Challenge this month was a PERFECT fit for a fun gift card holder!  Here is the sketch that the Design Team has worked from this week:

I decided to do more of a scoop neck and less of a v-neck on my card. HAHAHAHA! But, what I really loved was the pocket concept in the sketch, so I ran with that!

Season's Greetings Gift Card Holder

I used the Winter Wishes Collection by Echo Park and combined it with the super cute Season's Greetings set from Gourmet Rubber Stamps! On the insert, I used one of the BRAND NEW Cookie Cutter Stencils available at Gourmet to create the background. LOVE THAT!

Season's Greetings Gift Card Holder

The insert slips right inside the card making it easy to get the gift card out! YAY! Be sure to head on over to the Gourmet Rubber Stamps blog to check out what the rest of the Design Team has created and to show us YOUR take on the sketch! We would LOVE to see it!
