Because Lots of Colorful Dots!

Woo-hoooo! It's Wednesday. And I have obviously had my iced coffee this morning (peanut butter chocolate flavor today, it's my go-to when I can't decide). We have an exciting new challenge for you up over on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge! Woot! Woot! This week we are challenging you to STENCIL IT! Yup. We want to see you playing with stencils on your projects this week! You can rock them any way you choose. The Design Team is showcasing The Crafter's Workshop products this week. You don't have to use them to participate, but if you've got some, you may as well!

I used the Mini Dots All Around stencil along with some of the newest Distress Inks to create a super fun background for my card. I love the colors so much!!! I then stamped fussy cut the flowers from the Clearly Besotted Sketched Blooms set and covered them with shimmering, sparkling Wink of Stella GOODNESS! I do so love sparkle. For reals, though.

You want it. Trust me on this one.

You've Got This!

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog

We have a new challenge for you over at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog! This week it's all about the STENCILS! We want to see you pull out your stencils and show us how you use them! The Design Team is using products from The Crafter's Workshop this week, you don't have to use them to participate, but we would love to see what you do with them if you have some!

You've Got This

I used a couple of different stencils along with gelatos to create my watercolor background. To use the gelatos, I just rub them onto my Ranger craft mat and then use the pigment with some water and a paint brush. I love the gold metallic pigment!!!

I used an awesome sentiment from Avery Elle and a few woodgrain enamel dots to finish off my card! Now it's YOUR turn! Create a NEW project using stencils in a fun and creative way and link it up to our challenge! One lucky winner will receive a $50 Gift Certificate to the Simon Says Stamp store! Woot! Woot!

Have a Happy!

Happy Halloween!

And HAPPY THE REDSOX WON THE WORLD SERIES DAY!!!!!!!!  I'm just a tad bit excited.  And tired.  Very.  Very.  Tired.  HA!

I do have a super fun Halloween card to share with you today, however!  I pulled out one of my stencils, as I'm trying to use those more being that they are all trendy and such.  HA!

Halloween Greetings

To create the background, I layered the tree stencil over the natural cardstock and then pressed my VersaMark pad all over it.  This put ink on the negative space and I heat embossed that with a wicked cool embossing enamel from Stampendous that created a perfect night sky!  I love it!

I die cut a circle for the moon and inked it and then punched a few bats to surround it.  The sentiment is from Unity Stamp Company's Halloween Chatter set.  I LOVE that set!  I made some cute treat bags for the office with those stamps, too!  So easy!

So, all in all, today we have candy coming from every direction AND the Red Sox won the Series, so, while I may be exhausted, it is going to be a GREAT DAY!

Have a Happy, folks!  Happy Halloween!

Jingle Out.
