Back It On Up

HELLO!!!! I am in a ridiculously good mood today. I love ridiculously good moods. It's a beautiful morning in Boston and I am just a happy girl! I am also happy to be sharing this week's brand new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge with all of you! This week, it's all about the guys! The Design Team is featuring Tim Holtz products and our challenge is For a GUY. This conveniently coincides with Father's Day, here in the US. That might not be a coincidence. Maybe not. Just... yeah. Maybe.

I pulled out a few of my Tim Holtz to create a card that might not be the style one normally expects when thinking of Tim Holtz. I combined Distress Ink, Distress Markers, and some awesome Distress Glitter with a super fun My Favorite Things Stamp Set to create a great card for the tech loving person in your life. Yup. I used glitter on a guy card. And it totally worked, yo. For reals, though.

The Swiss Army Father's Day Card

Happy Father's Day!  I wanted to jump in really quickly to share the card I made for my Daddy for Father's Day.  I kinda love it!!!!  For reals, though, you guys... it could NOT be more perfect for him.  He carries a tiny pocket knife everywhere he goes and it MUST have his toothpick in it.  Essential, my friends.  Essential.  HA!



I used the awesome The Man stamp set from Avery Elle.  LOVE IT!  The scissors 'work', in that they move... they don't cut, that would have been a little hard to do, I think.  Just sayin'.  HA!  All of the pieces can be moved in and out of the knife.  I wrote a short handwritten message on the back of the tools.  The little white tab pulls out the toothpick!  YAY!



I just pretty much super excited to give this to him!  He is going to LOVE it!  I know it!  It seriously couldn't be more well suited to my Daddy.  YAY!!!!!

Yup! Father's Day is coming up quick, folks! We over at Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog want to help you get that card made, so this week's challenge is for Masculine and Father's Day cards!


The Design Team is using Tim Holtz Products this week and I chose to use the super fun Muse Charms on my card.


I also used the SUPER fun Avery Elle The Man stamp set. I LOVE this set! It is just too stinking fun!

A Dapper Dad, Indeed!

Hiya, folks!  It's RELEASE week over at Fresh Squeezed Stamps and I have a SUPER fun card to share with you using the BRAND NEW Father Knows Best set!  This set includes something for every dad out there!  Love that! I decided to go with the Dapper Dad option for this fun card!


Is that tie not the CUTEST THING EVER?! It's stamped in Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko Danube Blue Momento ink. I love it. HA! I combined the stamps with some great Authentique papers and a couple of fun brads from Eyelet Outlet for this Dad-worthy design.
