Ducks are Adorable

At least THIS duck is. He is from the Storybook stamp set from Avery Elle, and seriously, you guys. Adorbs. Super. Duper. Adorbs. For reals, though. I love this stamp set. I combined it with some soft colors for this sweet little birthday card that I created for the AEI♥U Challenge!

I love the soft green with the soft, but still bold red on this. It makes me happy. I also super love the white enamel dots. They are subtle, due to the white on the card, but still add just that little extra bit of happy. The pierced circle? THAT, my friends is quickly becoming one of my absolute favorite die sets! It's from the new Spellbinders Celebra'tions collection and I LOVE IT!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

I also still have a few more de-stash mystery boxes ready to ship. They are Medium Flat Rate USPS Priority boxes that I can ship to US addresses only. I am asking $45 SHIPPED for these boxes. (That is around $30 for the product! WHAT?!) They are SUPER stuffed and include both new and gently used stamp sets (over ten in each box), patterned paper, embellishments, ribbon/twine, some even include dies, inks, and more! Please email me if you are interested in purchasing one of these boxes!

Have a Happy!!!

Stamped Backgrounds and Such

The latest AEI♥U challenge over at Avery Elle is to create your own patterned paper using stamps. This is not something I consider to be one of my strong points, but I wanted to give it a shot, so, well, I DID! I pulled out several Avery Elle goodies to create my design.

Woodland Hello

I used the Modern Leaves set with some pastel inks from Hero Arts to create my background. I wanted it to be subtle, but still pretty. I cut the cork using the wavy sort of die from the Custom Panels die set and then stamped, colored, and fussy cut the deer, rabbit, and bird from the Storybook set. I had fun putting together this sweet little scene!

I used the My Favorite Things Hybrid ink to stamp the sentiment over the stamped background. This ink works well when stamping over pigment inks. A few little Chickaniddy hearts finish off the card. I love those things! So cute!

You can find all of the products I used in the links below.

Have a Happy!!!
