You're Not My Friend

Today I have the last of my Stamping Royalty cards to share with you. Well, except for the Season's Greetings Category because I can't share that one, but you will see it in the July issue of Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking Magazine! Woot! Woot! This one was for the Friendship category. I pulled out the Highline Chalkboard Background stamp from Hero Arts/Basic Grey for a bit of fun technique play on this one!

Hello, you're not my friend.

I stamped the mint background and then, on a second panel, I stamped and clear embossed the background again. I inked over it with grey ink after embossing to get a reverse look and then used an iron to remove the embossing entirely, giving me the image in reverse. That was SO MUCH FUN!!!! I die cut the word Hello from the reverse panel and lined it up perfectly to sit on top of the same spot to make it seamless. I LOVE how this one turned out and that I ventured into new territory, too!

I hope you have enjoyed this week of my Stamping Royalty cards! I had SUCH a good time creating these and was super excited to share them, as I really put my all into them! I love them. All of them. For reals. I can't even help it.

In other news, I have a giveaway winner to announce! The winner of my Crafter's Companion prize is... Carol L! Congratulations, Carol! Please email me with your full name and mailing address so I can get this out to you!

Have a Happy!!!

Up and Away!

So, if you happened to see my big news yesterday, that is pretty exciting,  huh?  Yup. Totes.  I'm so wicked excited!  However, I have to admit, the card I'm sharing with you today was probably my absolute favorite of all those I sent in.  It took a bit of time, but it turned out even better than the picture I had in my head and I just LOVE it when that happens!

Congrats Balloon

Squeeee!!!!  Isn't it fun?  I lightly sketched the balloon and then I used a total of seven different stamp sets to bring it all together.  I stamped the tiny pieces randomly until I was happy with the fill.  This was SO much fun to do!  I loved every minute of it!

I have included the supplies in the inlinkz below if you are curious.  Seriously, though, I love this card.  I love that I made it.  I love that I even tried it because this is not something I would normally consider to be a task I could accomplish successfully.  AND... the best part... this card was totally inspired by toothpaste.  For reals.  Well, not the paste, itself, but rather the tube/box it comes in.  AND...as it so happens, when you apologize to the lady who is trying to actually buy toothpaste at Target while you are busy taking pictures, she says you are fine and totes acts like it is COMPLETELY normal to be taking random pictures of toothpaste.   Lady at Target, I commend you - we are obviously of like mind.  Because it obviously IS totally normal.  Just sayin'.

And with that, my friends, I hope you...

Have a Happy!

Pink and Grey Thank You

One of my favorite parts of the Stamping Royalty contest is when the winners have been notified and I can share the cards I sent in!!! They are always cards that I put a lot of effort into, so I love to share them. Today I am showing you one of my simpler designs. I loved the color combination on this one and had fun stamping the diamonds in place.

Pink and Grey Thank You

The diamonds are from the Date Night stamp set from Chickaniddy Crafts. This is SUCH a fun stamp set! I combined them with a great new sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Handwritten Sentiments set. LOVE it!

Diamond Thank You (detail)

Looking at this one, my diamonds really needed to be more precise, but I still love the design, so I may even stamp a few of these out just to have and use because it is a great versatile design and that sentiment set has lots of options, too! Love that!!!

I will continue to share some of my cards over the course of this week! YAY!!!

Oh....and Yeah... sooo... did I mention that I WON????!!!!  Not in this category, of course, but the announcement is on the Paper Crafts Blog now, so I can shout it from the rooftops!!!!  YAY!!!!!

Have a Happy!
