This is a super fun card that I created using some favorite products! The stamp is from the Family Dynamix Bella Blvd. Co-brand set. Sally the Cricut cut the letters for me using the Wall Decor and More cartridge from SUPER cute October Afternoon papers. The image is stamped and paper pieced. *love!*
I added a strip of Samantha Walker for Riley Blake fabric at the bottom of the card and then topped that with a little flowery accent made with a Crate Paper fabric brad and Maya Road lace. The little stickers beneath the Cricut cut letters are from Cosmo Cricket. Oh! And the Cardtock is from American Crafts.
This card is a great example of how it is TOTALLY okay to mix manufacturers! And, it was SUPER fun to create!
I created a second card for today's Friends with Flair, too! (That *might* be because my stamps from the big Unity sale arrived yesterday and I *might* have needed to use more than just one right away. *maybe* Just say'n.)
This one uses some fun papers from My Mind's Eye and the Love Potion Itty Bitty from Unity! I love this stamp. For reals. It has a 'love potion #9 sentiment that comes with it, but since I was using it for the school theme, I chose a CTMH 'Way to Go' sentiment to pair with it. I colored it with watercolor crayons and I absolutely LOVE the way the image looks colored that way!!! So fun! This one is going to see a lot of ink...I can just feel it!
So, that's what I have to share with you today, my dear friends! I hope you have a super fantabulous Friday! I have a creative day planned tomorrow, as the Hubbums has an all day meeting for his Summer School teaching gig, so more cards, a couple of dolls, and who knows what else will be in the works then! Do you have any creative plans???
I also want to say a HUGE thank you to all who voted for me over at the Retro Cafe Art ATC contest!!! I WON!!!! I'm very excited! Thank you! You guys pretty much rock! Just say'n.
