Hot Air Balloons are, well, HOT! Just say'n.

Yes, my friends, Hot Air Balloons are THE THING at the moment! And I am ALL. OVER. THAT. You know how trends are...some you love some just confuse the living daylights out of you. Well, this one is one of those ones that I am jumping head first into because, well, I loved them before, so why not take advantage of the trend!?! HA!

And...I have a little secret. On Tuesday Skipping Stones Design will be releasing a stamp set with....yup!...you guessed it...HOT AIR BALLOONS!

But I couldn't wait to use it, so I'm sharing a card I created for the Stamping Royalty contest (it was not selected) with you today.

Just A Note...


Just a Note to say... HEEEE!!!!! *Love. It.* Just say'n.

I stamped the SSD stamps on Crate Paper Portrait Collection papers. *LOVE!* I simply cut out the balloons and mounted them on the card in staggered form. One is raised with a Thermoweb foam square (or three). The edges of the panels in the background are barely inked to give them definition.

So, on this fine Friday, I leave you with a lofty greeting! HA!!! LOFTY!!! HOT AIR BALLOONS!!!! *sigh* I crack myself up. I really do. HA!

    I can think of a few sentiments that could go good with this stamp...but it has to do with being filled with hot air.
