Hello, friends! We have a brand new challenge for you this week, and it is your FAVORITE! It is ANYTHING GOES week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog! I used the brand new One With Nature stamp set. P.S. I am head over heels in love with this set. When I first saw it, I knew the images were just so perfectly 'me', but then, after moving past the distraction of AMAZEBALLS images, I saw the typewrite font and just about fell over with joy. In. Love. I tell you. For reals, though. I also used the new Wisteria ink pad. I'm not a big purples person, so my stash was missing them. I decided to purchase this one and man do I love it! I just may need more purples in my life.

Playing Favorites!

This week, for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge we have a fun one for you! We are PLAYING FAVORITES! Showcase YOUR favorite product and/or your favorite technique on your project! The design team is using Ranger products this week, which, obviously, we LOVE! Because they are AWESOME. For reals, though. You don't have to use Ranger products to play along, but if you have some we love seeing what you do with them!



When considering my favorite technique, the obvious came to mind first - CAS design. I like to keep it clean and simple. I, naturally, decided to use that, but I also pulled in another favorite technique that I don't use all that often - ink blending! As I worked on this card, I was reminded why I don't use it that often - I kind of suck at it. HA! I actually love how this turned out in the end, but I have to be honest... LAYERS! There are LOTS of layers of distress ink on that background. I had to work it and work it and then work it some more to get the blend correct. Worth it? Totally. A fun crafting time? For reals, you guys!



That awesome die? Yup, that's totally from the new Simon Says Stamp The Color of Fun release. And I love it. With all my heart.

Fun With Flowers

I know I was rather excited about the new Simon Says Stamp Color of Fun release yesterday. Guess what? I'm STILL that excited about it! Seriously! It is so awesome and I am SO loving these stamps and dies! Today I am showing off the gorgeous Many Thanks stamp set. This set is a collaboration between Simon Says Stamp and WPlus9, therefore, amazing, naturally.


I masked off the area I wanted my floral strip and stamped away! I even used LAYERS, you guys! Well, kinda. I mean, it's layered for me.I used two different stamps for each flower and for each leaf. Layers, dude. For reals. I also used the new Hollyhock and Blue Jay inks for this one. The new ink colors in the Color of Fun release are really amazing. Seriously. They are AMAZING. Buy them.

Dreamers Gotta Dream...about a NEW RELEASE!

Did you SEE IT?! The Simon Says Stamp Color of Fun release is LIVE and it is FABULOUS! Oh, my goodness, you guys, this release! I absolutely LOVE it! I have been playing with a few fabulous stamps, inks, and dies from this release and I can't wait to share them with you over the next few days!



I used the new Firework Burst die set and the My Sunshine stamp set for this card along with the gorgeous new Hollyhock ink pad. You guys, this pink?! It's so fabulous! I love it so much! The panel behind the sentiment is actually white cardstock inked with the Hollyhock ink to  match the stamped text perfectly. It makes me happy. Very happy.
