K. So, uuuummm...here's the card:
When I saw the trigger below ALL I could think of was those beautiful layers of sweet and yummy caramel. So, after deciding that layering strips of actual caramel on a card probably wouldn't work as well as I would like, I decided to go with some fabulous trims, instead. I found them to be MUCH less sticky and a bit more 'mail friendly', one might say. Just say'n.
The stamp is from the Unity Heartfelt Sentiments set and the trims are from *takes big 'ole breath*...May Arts (sheer, burlap string, silk), The Twinery (twine), Teresa Collins (lace& pleated with tulle), and some unknown company who makes really cute felt flower trim. *Let's breath out.* Yeah..I'm sorry, I don't know who makes that one, but if any of you can source it for me that would rock!
The button, however! (Yes. That is a complete sentence. Because I said it is, that's why.) THE BUTTON, HOWEVER! That is vintage. You see, I rediscovered an absolutely scrumptious vintage jar of vintage buttons on my brown shelf! I had forgotten that I had purchased it and I absolutely LOVE THESE BUTTONS! I had so much fun choosing one for this card. Just say'n.
Yup. That's my vintage brown button jar. Yup. It makes me happy. Yup. It is making you happy right now, too. Yup. Everyone should have one because then everyone would be pretty much happy. Yup. Just say'n.
K. So that's what I have for you in THIS post, so YAY for a Friday full of fun for friends with flair!!!!
OH! And I'm also linking this up to the Less is More Eye Color challenge since my eyes are totally brown (dirt brown, as my lovely Hubbums likes to call them), and so this card is definitely showing off the browns! YAY for dirt brown eyes!!! Yeah....that's it.
K. Bye now. Happy Friday! Don't forget to come back to check out my SSD Feature Friday post. There will be donuts. Just say'n.
Oh...and by now you probably all think I've been eating candy for breakfast again, but I haven't! I just did Jillian's 30 Day Shred this morning for the first time in ages so I feel WICKED good and WAY too awake. K. That's all now. Later!
Jingle OUT! (No, for reals this time.)
