Beautiful Hymns

Good Morning! Today is my first post as a guest designing with the amazing The Craft's Meow Design Team and we are introducing to a gorgeous new stamp set called Beautiful Hymns!

I LOVE old hymns! They just have so much more to them, if you ask me. And they remind me of when I was little and some very special people in my life from that time. I had to go with a vintage style card for this one...it just suited the stamps for me. The bit of May Arts lace was perfect, too!

Strength for Today

Okay...lift your chin up. I KNOW! I used floral paper! That pretty much NEVER happens! HA! But, alas, I love it! It was just a great fit for this beautiful song lyric! I also love the wood always from Simon Says Stamp that goes beautifully with the stamped lyric below!

Bright Hope for Today (detail)

You will NOT want to miss what the design team has created with this gorgeous set! Head on over to The Craft's Meow blog to check them out AND to comment to win this beautiful stamp set! Your comment must be in by 9pm PST TODAY, but the good news is... they are giving away a set EACH DAY with the release, so stop by tomorrow to see the next one and for another chance to win over on The Craft's Meow Blog! (Just be sure to leave your comment over there! While I LOVE and super APPRECIATE and totally WANT your comments, it has to be on the TCM blog for you to win! :) )

Have a beautiful Thursday full of Strength for Today!

Great words I agree, and there are some fantastic older hymns, but if you are selective there are some amazing more recent hymns too (In Christ Alone, My Jesus My Saviour, etc). Great card, will be checking out the other stamps in the set now!

I agree that the floral patterned papers are perfect with the stamp and the lace trim. The wood veneer is awesome--love that idea with the sentiment!

Beautiful--and yes, I was surprised to see flower paper on one of your cards, but you totally 'rocked' it.
