Hello, Sweet Friend - WOYWW

Well, it's a new day. It's still dreary, cloudy and rainy, and I DID just drop a Cheerio down my shirt, but I think I can move past that and work on making it better than yesterday. Just say'n. HA! I have a sweet card to share with you today. I created this one using my The Story kit from Scrapbook Circle!

Sweet Friend

I'm trying very hard to not be mad at that cloud for blocking the sun right now! HAHAHA! No, for reals, though, I love that sticker from the Pink Paislee sheet and those papers are just so pretty! I never would have bought those on my own, so I am SO glad they were in the kit because I loved working with them! I added some May Arts ribbon and burlap string for this card.

Sweet Friend (detail)

AND...if you want to see another SUPER FUN card I created with this kit check out THIS POST over on the Scrapbook Circle blog! Seriously...you want to... it will have you SINGING! I promise! ;-)

As for my desk, well, it's still fairly tidy. You see, I've been doing that strange thing where you put stuff away after you finish a project. It's odd, that, but yet, it seems to produce a ready work surface each time I go back to do more. Hmmm....there just may be something to this....

I do have a few sheets of 6x6 paper out because I started working on a card and was then pulled away. I had to clear the images that I had colored before taking the shot because they are a BIG SECRET!!! I like having fun secrets like that! Plus, I probably won't use the colored ones...turns out the colors weren't going to work with the papers and I love the papers, so I will likely paper piece it instead. I'm better at piecing than coloring anyway! HA!

The cardstock is for a project I hope to do tonight! May Arts and Core'dinations coming together for some fun soon!!! YAY!!!! Anyway, that's all for now! I will leave you with a pretty picture of my Maggie who is showing off her 'clothes' after not being able to wear them for a VERY long time due to some skin issues....

That's my girl! I'll show you a good shot of my other girl, Thatcher tomorrow, hopefully! :-)

  17. Wow.

I'm going to have to try that new thing.

So, you actually have to put stuff away? After making something? Before making something else? I'll never get the hang of that! ;)
