And then She Just Emerged... {WOYWW}

WOYWW 12/15/2010

I actually haven't pulled out my paper clay since we moved and last night all of the sudden I just HAD to sculpt! I pulled out some wire, formed a simple armature and she just danced her way right on out of the clay in my hands! I can't wait to continue working on her...I don't know quite who she is yet or where she came from, but she will tell me! She has already begun to share her secrets!

And this is my other project that I've put off WAY too long...Christmas cards! I need to make them!!!! I have to have the cards for the family done by Sunday and I haven't even begun them yet! I do have this fun Echo Park paper ready to go, though, and LOTS of great holiday stamps to play with, so I will get on those this week...hopefully! Just say'n.

So, that's what's on my workspace on this fine FREEZING cold Wednesday! Oh, and it's OFFICE CHRISTMAS PARTY day, so that should be fun!

  2. Looking very interesting!! I'm so happy that I'm not the only one that has a muse whispering..^_^

    WOW...you have some wonderful items to make cards with. Some family members are going to be very surprised...your cards alone are an awesome gift.

    My work place has been all over the place this week...LOL Since I have been sewing those 18 tiny reindeer then I moved everything to the den so I could still be with DH and the Chazman. Today is putting on my special magically snow to them. HEY...how else will they fly.

    Hugs,
    Regi

  14. Oh - a DOLLY!!! Can't wait to see what she ends up being. :)

    Sorry I haven't been around. Trying to catch up now. My daughter was stranded on a highway in a blizzard for over 30 hours (along with about 500 other people)...so life has been gruelling and stressful the past few days, to say the least. She's home safe and sound now, though!
