In Loving Memory
Yesterday morning we lost a beautiful woman to cancer. She was a wife, a mother, a friend. She and I have known one another via message boards, blogs, and emails for several years. As a matter of fact, she and her husband created the graphics for my blog. Yes, my wonderful little gnome, mushrooms, and general cuteness. She was such a wonderful, fun person and a beautiful, creative spirit. She will be missed so very much. It is just amazing how easily people we may never actually meet in person become such wonderful parts of our lives.
Chris, we love you and we miss you. Many tears have fallen.

ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry! What a pretty lady & OBVIOUSLY a fun person to create such charming things! Hateful, insidious cancer. It steals so many beautiful, caring spirits. I'm glad you shared her with us, Jen. Now when we look at your blog and see your lil' gnome, we can FEEL her &, in a tiny way, keep her alive!

ReplyDeleteMy heart fell out of my chest when I was told of this tragedy yesterday. It's difficult to wrap my mind around, and I cannot even imagine how her family and closest loved ones are coping. Yesterday the world lost a beautiful soul. She left an imprint on everyone who was blessed enough to have known her, wether in real life, or through message boards. She will be dearly missed. {{{hugs}}}

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, Jennifer!! I'm so sad to read this news. I remember when she was going through a hard time on AMR, but that really seems like it was just last year. I had no idea her condition deteriorated so quickly. This is so sad. Chris was a wonderful, inspiring, talented woman. Such a loss.
