I Need Help. For Reals. {WOYWW}

My entire studio is an ever loving DISASTER! I need to really cull, but I have done that and feel like I really use most of the supplies I currently have. Actually...most of my supplies aren't the problem...they are stored and organized well...I just seem to have a bunch of 'other' stuff around that I don't know what to do with. I might have to do the whole...box it up, put it in the basement and if I don't need it for six months get rid of it kind of thing. I don't know. I just know it is a mess.

WOYWW 1.5.11

This is my desk right now. Crazy, I know! And this is ALL stuff I use regularly! Hence it being ON my desk and all. I'm less concerned about this, though, because at least I know that everything on here HAS a home and if I just start the process I can get that cleaned up fairly quickly...it's the rest of the room that is still a problem! HA!

Do you see my new clay tools on there, though? I'm wicked excited about those! BETTER sculpting from JINGLE on the way! I will certainly use them for polymer clay stuff, but I think I can really use them for detail stuff on paper clay, too! YAY!!!

WOYWW 1.5.11

Also, sitting there casually upon my desktop, you see the FABULOUS stamps that I am giving away in yesterday's post!!!! YAY! If you haven't checked that out yet, click here if you want to enter!

So...my goal is to have this desk cleaned off before next Wednesday. I'm not promising a clean one on Wednesday, as I might use it after I clean it...HA! But, at least it needs an overhaul before I do that. I will work on the room, too, but the desk needs to happen first. Then the room. Then happy Jingle. Just say'n.

I hope you have a FABULOUS Wednesday! For more What's On Your Workspace posts check out The Stamping Ground!

  1. What's wrong with your desk? Am sure it looks like any other desk where an artist works. You would love to think your desk and room would be neat, but if it is, I am sure you won't be creating. :-) That is my excuse and I am sticking too it!

  6. MESS? Where? All I see is a lot of fun-in-progress and creativity-waiting-to-happen! When I moved to this house with it's HUGE craft room, my Virgo self was thrilled 'cause I just KNEW everything would ALWAYS be in its place! BWAHAHAHAHAHA! It's MORE like everything is always all OVER the place. But you know WHAT, Jen? It makes me HAPPY, all this creative disarray. Tells me I'm alive & creating! So PLAY, sweet girl! And OH, how I DO love those coffee stamps. What's NOT to love about my #1 food group: COFFEE? BIG HUGS TO YOU, lil' Partner!

  11. that is how my desk looks after a project. It always feels so good to put everyone back in their home ready for the next project.

  14. I'm in the process of cleaning my whole entire studio! I figured the people at that hoarders show heard what a mess it was and was probably wanting to do a show on it... so I decided to clean it :-)I've got the thrift store people coming tomorrow to pick up my extra stuff! (I've been known to pull stuff out of that pile lol) Good luck to you on cleaning!

  15. Don't refer to it as a mess - think of it as I like to call it "organized chaos!" ;) Theresa

  18. I don't see anything wrong with your desk, teehee. I lose my big red ATG on my desk. Now when that happens then you have a problem. Did I just admit I have a problem?

  19. You don't need help Jingle. You need therapy. I know cus I do too. We should go together and get a group discount.

  26. Wow, you have your work cut out for you if this is your "easy to pick up" part of the room. I know by now it's probably in much better shape and you're already crafting and creating. Happy WOYWW on Friday from #16.

  28. Your desk is quite neat compared to mine. I really have to get into my scraproom and do a major decluttering/reorginizing. By the way...cute stamps!!
