Well, I did it. I made a layout. Actually, two. {WOYWW}

Yup. I did one. The one you see here. And then...I went and did another one. CRAZINESS, I TELL YOU! The thing is, since I haven't been scrapbooking, I've fallen into that horrid habit of never actually printing photos (they are all on my computer), so I've used super old prints for these. I need to sit down and upload a bunch to Walgreens so I can get more recent prints. BUT, alas, at least I have a couple of layouts to share! The one I am sharing today was done for the May Arts/Creative Imaginations collaboration and you can see the entire process over on the May Arts blog! There is a great chance to win, too!

With This Ring

If I'm being honest with you, I don't really know if I like it or not. If someone ELSE created it, I would like it. I just don't know if it is really me or not, you know? I do think it suits the style of the papers that I was sent, so that's good. Does that ever happen to you, though? You feel like you would like it if someone else made it, but just not sure if you like it because YOU made it. That probably doesn't make any sense. My crazy is showing isn't it? HA! The thing of it is, I really like the clean and simply look, but for some reason, on scrapbook pages, I have a hard time getting it to work. I end up with stuff like this, instead, because I feel like I can actually achieve the look this way. Okay. Now I'm REALLY not making sense. *sigh* Well, hopefully at least one of you understands! HA! If you would like to see my process, though, check it out over on the May Arts blog. It was kind of fun documenting it!

Now...as for my desk...well, you know how it is....

WOYWW 4.11.2012

Let's see, right now it looks as though the Eyelet Outlet and Scrapbook Circle kinda threw up on my desk. HA! I started to work on a set of projects for Eyelet Outlet and found myself utterly uninspired, I just got the May Scrapbook Circle kit in hand, so that is hiding under a few things there... and... that's about the story of it. I think I will work on the Eyelet Outlet stuff tonight and maybe do a little Alice playing with some Stampendous! goodies tonight, too. That sounds like fun, actually. Let's make it a date! K? K. Thanks. Bye.

Jingle Out.

P.S. For more WOYWW fun check out Julia's fabulous blog!

  4. I do like it but I'd have to disagree that it doesn't look like your style. I like how you used the stamps for the background, the buttons, the ribbon and the variety of paper. It is you, just a little variation on what we have seen before. I LIKE! Love you ring by the way!

  12. Well in MY world, you make perfect sense!! Hahaha...I do the same thing. If I stick to what I know I do, a la clean and simple, then I know it's me who did it. But when I go and do something that isn't characteristic for me, I wonder where that came from!!! I really like this layout, the photo is amazing... everything looks renaissance and that really is you. Kinda fairy, medieval-ish...now I'm not making sense. Hahaha!

  19. This may sound kind of odd but.... I always get facinated with looking at the items on you desk. It isn't messy to me - it is active! Mine is so dormant from lack of mojo that I am living vicariously through yours :-) Have a lovely Wednesday! - Janet

  20. Yo Crazy lady

    let me give some insight?

    if you wnat clean and simple take three things to an EMPTY table and create your thang..

    if you wrok at your ( gorgeous I love it) crazy table you will get the

    'yep I put everything on it and STILL made it look balanced and beautiful and great look....'

    if you are crazy - then me too pal...

  27. The reason why we would like it better if someone else made it, is because we are more hard on ourselves.
    As for you desk, you never disappoint, teehee.

    Your desk and my desk this week are opposites!
