Let Us Read and Let Us Dance!

If that isn't the most delightful sounding thing ever, well, folks, I simply do not know what is! Let us read and let us dance! Two of the most wonderful activities in which one can engage!

The words are not my own, however. They are actually that of Voltaire and I am simply lucky enough to have a FABULOUS Rogue Redhead Designs stamp with this beautiful quote! Rogue Redhead is sponsoring Gingersnap Creations this month and that means LOTS of fun challenges and gorgeous inspiration! The first challenge for the month is Words of Wisdom!

Books

I could NOT think of a better Rogue Redhead stamp set to pull out for this challenge than the beautiful Relish Reading plate! I would love to tell you how much I LOVE this plate, but that might take all day, so just know that I do, K? K. Thanks. Just say'n.

Let us read (detail 1)

I stamped the image and colored with just a touch of color from Prismacolor pencils. I didn't blend them, as blending tends to add a bit of intensity to the color and I really wanted to keep it subtle. This is just such a beautiful image!

Let us Read... (detail 2)

I then adorned the card with a bit of Pink Paislee paper and LOTS of fabulous trims from Webster's Pages, Teresa Collins, and May Arts. I love lots of happy trims!!!

So...if you haven't ever participated in Gingersnap Challenges before you simply MUST check them out! Join in on this one!

Have a Happy Thursday!

Okay. You finally DID it! WHAT did you 'did'? You OUTdid yourself! This is my all-time, forever-up-to-this-point-in-my-61-years-and-5-months-long-life favorite card! I LOVE it! Reading? I can't LIVE without books? Dancing? I can't physically dance anymore because my leg is so shattered, but I used to LIVE to dance. I STILL dance in my heart. So, I think I need to create an award for you: BEST CARD EVER! Yep. You win!!!!

Amen, Kai! Can't dance either, unless it's really slow. But I have to read, everywhere, and I can dance in my heart!
