I'd Rather Stamp Furniture than Move it. Just say'n.

Yes, the process has officially begun. We have started packing, purchased the paper plates to use while the real ones are packed, and stopped at the liquor store for boxes enough times that I'm pretty sure we actually wiped them out over the weekend. HA! Yes, it is official. The moving process has begun. I'm working my usual week this week, so while I got a good chunk of my studio packed yesterday, I will be working on it every night this week after work. Should make for a tiring, but productive week! A couple large items are going over tomorrow and then we will get a truck to pack the bulk of the furniture and the boxes next weekend or early next week. It's kinda crazy, this moving thing, but we have done it enough that we pretty much know how it goes and just get it done!

Miss You

That being said...I'd much rather stamp furniture than move it. Just say'n. LOL! For reals, though, these Paper Smooches stamps are just TOO. MUCH. FUN. This is the Vogue Abode set and I just LOVE IT!!!

Miss You (detail)

The chair is paper pieced with some Pebbles papers. The pretty grey ribbon and Pom Pom trim are both from May Arts. LOVE THEM!

I hope you have a super fabulous Monday! Also, if you need and or want my new address please let me know! Have a happy day!!!

Be Inspired and Just Roll With It!

***This is my second post of the day. Please scroll down to see the other one with a CAS card and a rant. Just say'n.***

It's time for a brand new Be Inspired Challenge over at The Alley Way! This one is full of summer and full of fun! Here is the inspiration photo:

And here is the card that I created for the challenge using the super fun Admit One set!

Roll With It

I also pulled out the fun sentiment from the Kitchen Gadgets set. It's perfect with the balls from Admit One!

Head on over to the The Alley Way blog to see what the other girls have created and then create YOUR take on the challenge! It's a fun one!

Love You More and Why I hate Olympic Basketball

I hate it when I miss Friends With Flair Friday, so I decided to make SURE to pull something out to post today! This one is actually one I submitted quite some time ago that wasn't picked up. It's SUPER CAS, but I still kinda love it.

Love You More

The rhinestones add just a bit of sparkle. I think this is a perfect card to give to your husband! Simple, direct, and happy making. Just say'n.

Love You More (detail)

Would you like to know what is NOT happy making and what I do NOT love? Olympic Basketball. Yup. It's a joke. I love the Olympics. I love cheering for the Americans, even in the sports we suck at. I love cheering for favorites from other countries, too! I HATE Olympic basketball. I do not think our Pro players should be allowed to play. I don't even care if EVERY other country puts their 'professional' basketball players out there. Ours shouldn't get that privelege. They are arrogant and don't really deserve the Olympic title like other Olympians. One of them even had the nerve to say he should get paid for the two months of training. REALLY???? Tell that to those gymnasts who have been training since they were about four years old. Talk to the archers and the shooters who barely even manage to get sponsorships, never you MIND payment for training. But, yes...you already make 25 million a year, so of COURSE YOU should get paid for training. Phooey on you. That's all I have to say about that! HA!

So, anyway. That's my rant for today. LOL! Thanks for stopping by and thanks for listening! HA!

Call Me, Maybe?

Yes.  I'm aware that song will not be stuck in your head for an indeterminate period of time. You're welcome.  HA!  I love doing that!  Just say'n.  No, for reals, though.  It's pretty funny from this end.  BUT...the down side is that I ALSO get the song stuck in my head, so, yes, there is that.  Oh, well.  It's all worth the fun!  This is a super fun card I created using the super fun PSA Originals set, Frenchie. I love how all PSA sets come with the individual stamps and then the ring that you can switch out with different sets!  SO FUN and SO easy to use!

Call Me Maybe?

I also pulled out some fun alphas! The grey toned alpha is from Amy Tangerine's fun line for American Crafts! It's the Goodness Thickers! LOVE THOSE! The corrugated alpha is from Pebbles, Inc. So fun! I stamped the image onto white cardstock and cut that out and I stamped the frame onto the card base directly to sit beneath the popped up phone. A white gel pen was perfect for adding the stitching around the edges!

Call Me Maybe? (detail)

This card was so fun to create! I also used my new Corner Chomper from Simon Says Stamp for the corners! I LOVE that I can now easily 'chomp' through multiple paper layers for rounded corners! SO happy about that!

And, as we have officially begin the moving process, I am happy to say that at least I don't have any phone numbers to change or move! LOL! However, everything ELSE does have to move. We have officially completed the paperwork and have the keys in hand so if you need and/or want the new address please email me and I will get that to you! Hoping to keep things running as per usual around here, however, you may notice a blip or two here and there.

Now...back to that song that's stuck in your head..."Hey, I just met you....and this is crazy...."

(Oh, you can't really blame me, now CAN YOU?! That song would have entered your day somehow anyway. It's pretty ubiquitous at the moment. Even the US Swim team did a video to it! HA!)

Happy Thursday, folks!

It's Wednesday and THAT means that we have another brand new and fabulous Simon Says Stamp Challenge for you!  This time it's all about the inspiration! Kristina has given us a fabulous inspiration photo to jump start our creativity!

LOVE the bold black and white with gentle touches of color! And the Simon Says Stamp Challenge DT is playing with Basic Grey goodies this week, so that makes it even MORE FUN!

I pulled out the Basic Grey Konnichiwa 12x12 Collection kit for my card today. The colors worked so well with the inspiration and I really wanted to focus on the black and white, so I kept my background simple.

Birthday Wishes

*LOVE!* That wonderful sentiment is from the SRM Birthday Fancy Sentiments sheet. SRM stickers go down so beautifully on smooth cardstock! I love how they just melt right into the paper!

Now it's your turn! Create a card based on the inspiration photo and link it up to the Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog! You could win a $50 voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore! Yup! TOTALLY worth it!!!

It's Official!  The newest stamps from The Alley Way Stamps are now available in the store!  Not only that, but there is a great coordinating freebie on the blog today!  I have a fun card for you today using the Admit One set!  This is actually the SAME set I used yesterday, so you can see how you can get TOTALLY different cards from it!

Have a Blast!

I used my circle punch to create 'ticket' style corners for this fun cannon card.  I think the corners work really well with this super fun image!

Be sure to check out what the other girls have created over on the The Alley Way blog today!  Some FUN stuff!

P.S.  I have two more posts coming today..It's the first so that means a BUSY day!  Be sure to stop by later to check them out!
