Let's Get KRAFTY!

***Before we dive into the Simon Says Stamp Challenge for the day I want to let you know that I have a GIVEAWAY going on over on my Just Jingle Facebook page to celebrate my birthday!!!  There is a chance to win TWO great stamp sets!!!  Be sure to head on over to check it out!

Today we have a fun new challenge for you over at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog!  This week is all about getting KRAFTY!  Yup!  We want to see you use kraft cardstock or the color kraft in your creations!  I love kraft and I actually realized I haven't been pulling it out quite often enough as of late, so I was excited to jump into this one!  The Design Team is showing off some great products from Memory Box!  When I think of Memory Box, my mind always jumps straight to dies, but this week, I remembered that I have this beautiful Memory Box stamp so I pulled it out and used it!  LOVE!

Miss You

Kraft and white.  *sigh*  A match made in heaven!  I do so love the beautiful combination of the two!  I stamped and embossed the image and then matted it to make it a strong focal point.  The sentiment is from the new Scripty Sayings set from Paper Smooches.  I am SO loving that set!

A tad bit of May Arts ribbon added some nice warmth with a bit of color.  I like this one.  It's pretty.  For reals, though.

Now it's YOUR TURN!  Create something fabulous krafty and link it on up to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge post for your chance to win a $50 Gift Voucher to Simon Says Stamp!  WHAT?!  Yup.  Totes, for reals, folks.  Totes, for reals.

Have a Happy!!!

And don't forget to head on over to MY FACEBOOK PAGE for my BIRTHDAY GIVEAWAY!!!  Woot!  Woot!!!

What Would I Do Without You

Facebook.  It's a good thing and a bad thing.  Last night, for me, it was a great thing!  I was having a rather miserable day (yes.. those happen... even to the intensely crazy perky happy people who may or may not eat jelly beans for breakfast from time to time) and I was able to talk it out with a friend I have never actually stood face to face with.  She got it.  She knew what it was like.  And she helped tremendously.  Facebook is quick and there when you need someone and I love that!  And so... today's CAS-ual Fridays challenge card is for her.  She doesn't know that though, so... ummm.. now she does.  HA!  Surprise!  :)

Yup!  We are making feminine cards with kraft goodness on them!  I think it's a pretty natural fit, personally!  And... this week's challenge is sponsored by CAS-ual Fridays Stamps, so that means one awesome card maker is going to get a great prize!

What Would I do Without You

I used the awesome stamps and new dies from CAS-ual Fridays on this one!  I just love them!!!  (Links in the linky below the post.)  I layered mint ink over white to get a good strong, yet still soft color on the kraft.  I love this technique!  It's so soft and pretty!

What Would I Do (detail)

We would LOVE to have you join in the challenge!  Simply make a feminine creation using kraft in your design and link it up to the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge blog!

And now....

Have a Happy!  (For reals, though.  Have one.)

Anything Goes, Thank you, very much!

Hello, friends!  It's Wednesday and that means that is time for a brand new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!  You guys, I can't even tell you how much I love being on this team.  For reals.  We just have such SUPER fun challenges and the folks at Simon Says Stamp are the BEST!  And apparently I'm in a sappy mood today, but whatevs, it's true.  HA!  This week is ANYTHING GOES week, which I know is a BIG fan favorite!  The Design Team is playing with goodies from The Greeting Farm today.  They make the CUTEST stamps!  I decided to use one that I think is a little lesser known from them... a super fun sentiment stamp!

Golden Thanks

ACK!  Isn't that bundle of thank you goodness just too much fun?!  I totally love it!  It's the Blush Thanks stamp from The Greeting Farm.  I have always admired their adorable doll stamps, but this was so much more my style and I just LOVE how fun it is! I will be pulling this one out time and time again, for sure!

Golden Thank You

I stamped the sentiment in Golden Glitz ink!  LOVE. THAT. STUFF.  If you are a regular reader, you know that already, but just in case it wasn't clear.  LOVE. THAT. STUFF.  Hahahahaha!  And now it's YOUR turn!  Create a NEW creation (posted after the challenge went live) and link it up to the challenge for your chance to win a $50 Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Store!  Woot!

Now would pretty much be the PERFECT time to win, as Stamptember starts next week and you will be SO EXCITED when you see the new goodies coming out from Simon Says Stamp!  Holy crafting awesomeness, Batman!  It's good stuff.  Really good stuff.  Trust me on this one.  You can enter up to five times, so... dude.... do it.  For reals.

Have a Happy!

November is a good time for Unity ... and kraft....

Wow.  November first.  Where the HECK did that come from?  But, alas, here we are and I have a CAS card to share with you today on this fine fall morning.  Seems to me that November and kraft suit each other quite well.

I Adore You

To create this card I stamped the image on the front panel and then used a craft knife to cut the frame around the image.  I created my card base and stamped the image directly on the base and then layered the cut frame panel over that with foam tape.  It's a simple technique that tosses a good bit of impact out there.  I kinda like it.

I Adore You (detail)

The stamps are the I Adore You set by Echo Park for Unity.  I love these gorgeous stamps!  The burlap string is May Arts.  I love that stuff.  You should probably get some.  You can find the whole roll at Simon Says.  Just sayin'.

I am linking my kraft goodness card up to the CAS-usal Fridays challenge this week!  Did you see that they have stamps now?!  SO EXCITED ABOUT THAT!!!!  Just sayin'.

Well, that's all for now, folks!

Jingle Out!

P.S.  I had LOTS of leftover candy from last night.  And it's Christmas candy because I bought it at the last minute.  Hmmmm....what should I do with that????   Mwahahahaha!!!!
