A Simon Says Stamp Treat!

It's ANYTHING GOES week! Yes, that means this week you get to create anything your heart desires and link it up to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog! Just make sure it is something new! The design team is featuring Art Impressions products this week. You don't have to use them, but if you have some, we'd love to see what you do with them! They have some pretty fun stuff! Both hilarious and adorable! And if you love to color there are SO many awesome options for you!



Naturally, I chose a puppy stamp set. Naturally. I also decided to challenge myself to a one layer design. I used the Cat and Dog mini Front and Back set for this card. I love that you can add the puppy butt to the inside of the card!!!! I de cut the clouds (Memory Box Puffy Clouds), being sure to only partially cut the one with the puppy in it so his little head would stick up!

CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and Imagine Crafts Blog Hop!

Hello, all! Today the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps design team and the Imagine Crafts design team are coming together for a super fun blog hop with LOTS of inspiration for you! If you came from Monica Edwards' blog, you are already on the right track! If not, you may want to hope on back to the Imagine Crafts blog to start from the top of the list!



I pulled together some fabulous stamps from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and some of my favorite inks from Imagine Crafts to create this fun card! I stamped the Tin Roof background diagonally on the corners of my panel with Momento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored with Copics. I then stamped the sentiment from the MWAH! stamp set with Cardinal VersaColor pigment ink and clear embossed it with Clear Embossing Powder. Because I was able to stamp the sentiment in a bold color and emboss it for extra dimension, I was able to stamp it over the pattern without it getting lost.

Because Shimmer and Shine!

Happy Wednesday!!! It is another glorious summer day here in Boston, and our Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge fits in nicely with a glorious day! This week it is all about Shimmer and Shine! We want to see you add some SHIMMER to your cards! The Design Team is playing with Lindy's Gang products this week. Lindy's Gang kindly provided us with some fun products to play with and let me tell you, I am IN LOVE with these Magicals powders! They make for a fabulous shimmering watercolor when you use them with waterbrushes!

I combined the Magicals with some gorgeous floral stamps from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps to create this beautiful design on watercolor paper. I just love how much the colors shimmer! And they go on nice and opaque, too, which is totally fun!

I simply dipped my waterbrush into some of the powders and then mixed them with a bit of water on a silicone craft mat. I was then able to paint with them just like any other paint. I love how well the colors layer!

Paper Smooches and Puppy Smooches

Happy Wednesday! This week, on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog, we are celebrating the non-human members of our families! Yup! It's Animal Magic week! We want to see you celebrate animals in some way on your creations this week! The Design Team is using Paper Smooches goodies (LOTS of fun critters available from Paper Smooches!) for our projects this week. You don't have to use them to play along, but if you have some, we'd love to see what you create with them!



You know I had to feature dogs. That was just going to happen. This cutie is from the super fabulous Paws for a Cause set from Paper Smooches. It is one of my favorites! The sentiment is from the Paper Smooches Fun and Flirty set! This set has so many awesome sentiments!!!!

This one is a shot I took while we were in Indianapolis for vacation. She is such a pretty little thing and she makes my heart happy! I love her to pieces!!!

Back It On Up

HELLO!!!! I am in a ridiculously good mood today. I love ridiculously good moods. It's a beautiful morning in Boston and I am just a happy girl! I am also happy to be sharing this week's brand new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge with all of you! This week, it's all about the guys! The Design Team is featuring Tim Holtz products and our challenge is For a GUY. This conveniently coincides with Father's Day, here in the US. That might not be a coincidence. Maybe not. Just... yeah. Maybe.

I pulled out a few of my Tim Holtz to create a card that might not be the style one normally expects when thinking of Tim Holtz. I combined Distress Ink, Distress Markers, and some awesome Distress Glitter with a super fun My Favorite Things Stamp Set to create a great card for the tech loving person in your life. Yup. I used glitter on a guy card. And it totally worked, yo. For reals, though.

BIG

Hello, friends! I have a super fun card for you today using some awesome stamps from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps! I absolutely LOVE this marquis style stamp set! It is way too much fun! I combined it with a totally fun ink pad to create this bright and colorful thank you!



I stamped the big three times and then added the thanks at the bottom in black so it would stand out. This wasn't a difficult card, but it was seriously fun to create! I love the color!

The Mask of Zorro

Or.... maybe the mask of the Great Card Caper? Sure. Let's go with that one! This week, our Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is all about Masking! It's the Mask It Challenge! The Design Team is featuring Altenew products this week. You don't have to use them to play along, but if you have some, we would love to see what you work your masking magic with them.



I used the super fun Halftone Hello stamp set to create my card. I masked a strip in the middle of the larger stamp to leave room for the smaller hello to overstamp and be clear and visible in the completed design. I love how these two images look layered!
