Up and Away!

So, if you happened to see my big news yesterday, that is pretty exciting,  huh?  Yup. Totes.  I'm so wicked excited!  However, I have to admit, the card I'm sharing with you today was probably my absolute favorite of all those I sent in.  It took a bit of time, but it turned out even better than the picture I had in my head and I just LOVE it when that happens!

Congrats Balloon

Squeeee!!!!  Isn't it fun?  I lightly sketched the balloon and then I used a total of seven different stamp sets to bring it all together.  I stamped the tiny pieces randomly until I was happy with the fill.  This was SO much fun to do!  I loved every minute of it!

I have included the supplies in the inlinkz below if you are curious.  Seriously, though, I love this card.  I love that I made it.  I love that I even tried it because this is not something I would normally consider to be a task I could accomplish successfully.  AND... the best part... this card was totally inspired by toothpaste.  For reals.  Well, not the paste, itself, but rather the tube/box it comes in.  AND...as it so happens, when you apologize to the lady who is trying to actually buy toothpaste at Target while you are busy taking pictures, she says you are fine and totes acts like it is COMPLETELY normal to be taking random pictures of toothpaste.   Lady at Target, I commend you - we are obviously of like mind.  Because it obviously IS totally normal.  Just sayin'.

And with that, my friends, I hope you...

Have a Happy!

Rock Chalk Baby Blog Hop!

DUDE!  Erin's having a baby!  Woot!  Woot!  And because Erin is pretty much just awesome, we though a blog hop was in order.  A Rock Chalk Baby Blog Hop, that is!  Why Rock Chalk, well, let's just say Erin *might* be a tad bit of a KU fan.  Just a little bit.  Tiny, teensy, tinsy bit.  Or a HUGE CRAZY FANGIRL.  One or the other.  Just sayin'.

If you came over from Jen's blog, you are already on the right track!  ROCK CHALK!  If not, you may just want to head on over to Aga's blog to start from the beginning, because folks, we've got a pretty spectacular group of designers on this train.  Just sayin'.

Hellooooooo handsome baby

So, being that it's Erin's kid and all, I HAD to pull out some of my Unity Stamps designed by Erin!  I HAD too.  Well, she hasn't done baby ones yet.  Figures.  HA!  BUT, this Helllloooooo Handsome seemed absolutely PERFECT!  So, my friends, I used it!  I combined it with a set from Simon Says Stamp and some super pretty greys and yellows for a sweet baby card!  Yay!

Erin, you rock!  I am so excited for you as you add one more member to your family.  Thanks for being an awesome friend!  And, of course, Congratulations!

The next stop on the hop is JJ's blog, so head on over.  It will be amazing.  Everything she touches is.  For reals.

Have a Happy!

Babies and Buttons

Well.  That is pretty straight forward, wouldn't you say?  This week's CAS-ual Fridays Challenge is all about the BUTTONS!  Yup!  We want to see you use them on your CAS creations!  I had a bit of fun with this one, to be honest.  It would have been pretty easy to use a single button, seeing as we design CAS cards for this challenge, but I decided to dive right in and use a BUNCH, while still keeping my design nice and SIMPLE!  I love that!

Baby Tree

Squeee!  Isn't it fun?  And cute?!  I think so.  I don't make baby cards often, so I don't have a lot of baby-specific things around.  This adorable tree turned into a perfect baby card accent with the addition of the fun pink and white buttons!

So now it's YOUR turn!  Head on over to the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge blog and link up YOUR newly created CAS creation using BUTTONS!  I can't WAIT to see what you make!  One lucky participant will win an awesome prize from Ellen Hutson!  Woot!  Woot! You can find the links to the goodies I used on my card below.

Have a Happy!

So...remember last week when I told you about the crop and how I made a couple of baby cards and then I showed you one? Remember that? K. Good. So...now I'm showing you the OTHER one! YAY! HA!

Welcome Little One

This is a super fun card I created using the ever fabulous SRM Stickers and the adorable Sunny Happy Skies set from Unity. In case you haven't noticed..this is one of my favorite sets! I use it a lot!!! Totally {heart}it. Just say'n.

I love how the stickers just melt into the paper and then I popped up the clouds for a bit of dimension! I'd love to tell you who that adorable star patterned paper is, but it would seem I have completely forgotten. Like...totally. For reals. Echo Park, maybe? That's generally a good guess when dealing with me and my paper choices. HA!

Well, I hope you get a chance to check out my other posts for today! Happy Friday, folks!!! See ya tomorrow!!! I have TWO blog hops I'm in tomorrow WITH prizes!!! WOOT! WOOT!!!!
