It's STAMPtember!!!!

It's the most wonderful time of the stampy year!!! It's STAMPtember!!! Yes, it's that wonderful time when Simon Says Stamp releases all kinds of amazing exclusive products for us to gobble up! I used this absolutely AMAZING background stamp to create this fun card. If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen that I used it on the card I posted yesterday, as well. Keep following...I have MORE COMING!!!! I just love this background so much! I stamped and clear embossed it and then used Distress inks to blend ink over the words. I made sure to only partially stamp so the words only go partially across the inked area. I layered embossing powder over the die cut sentiment to add both shine and dimension so it would really stand out.

Little Yellow School Bus

As I have my pumpkin spice coffee with my pumpkin harvest crisp yogurt for breakfast (yup...I'm totally ONE OF THOOOOSE), I wanted to share another fun little card I created using the Simon Says Stamp Back to School stamp set. You could easily change this sentiment out to be a cute teacher thank you or even an encouraging lunch box note for your kiddo!



I colored the image using Copics and and Spectrum Noir markers. I added the little smoke puffs and the road lines by hand. P.S. That was scary. HA! The windows of the bus are coated with glossy accents to add just a little bit of shine!

Because COLOR! We have a brand new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge for you this week! We want you to MAKE IT COLORFUL! Yup. That's the challenge! Make something wonderfully colorful! I, naturally, pulled out some of my brand new STAMPtember goodies from Simon Says Stamp for this one, along with some red cardstock to get me started. Red is my favorite color, so things generally go well when I start there!



PARTY! Are you ready for a party? Because I AM! This super fun Party die is just too much! I love it! I combined it with the trees from the Warm Christmas Wishes stamp set. Nope. I didn't make a Christmas card. Yup. I used a Christmas stamp set. It's AMAZING what you can do, isn't it?! *wink* The Design Team is showcasing Doodlebug products this week and I decided to use some Doodlebug Sprinkles as accents on my card!



A bit of Wink of Stella adds sparkle to the word 'Party', while some clear Stickles make the tree lights shine!

My calendar appears to be a bit confused this morning. You see, it says it is September, but, we all know what month it really is...

It's STAMPtember!!! Yes, that's right, it is the most WONDERFUL time of the year over at Simon Says Stamp! There are over sixty new products being introduced and most of them are LIVE and ready for your shopping cart! The new release includes stamps, dies, ink, and more! Simon Says Stamp sent me some STAMPtember goodies in advance to share with you, so you will see some fun stuff around here this week!



For my first card... (HA! I feel like a magician...for my FIRST trick...Just me? Okay. Got it. Moving on.) Simon sent me the gorgeous Snowflake Block Die. This die is available individually and also as part of a gorgeous bundle of winter dies. I combine it with a greeting from the Inside Holiday Greetings stamp set that has actually been around for awhile, but is a classic and a great set to have on hand!



A bit of May Arts twine adds some rustic texture with the bold red and white color combo. This die is so great for making bulk cards because it sort of does all the design work for you! Just LOOK at how well it serves as the focal point on the card! I love it!

A Bit of Old and a Bit of New

As you know, all this week I have been featuring fun new products from the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® release. I LOVE these goodies, but I also love how Simon creates a consistent line so you can totally mix the new with the old seamlessly! Today's card does just that!



For this card I used the brand new Leaf Background stamp along with Ranger's Sticky Embossing powder and some fun autumn-toned glitters to create a sparkly background. I then die cut the Big Love You and the feather from that background to use on my clean and simple card. I love how the background stamp offers a beautiful textured pattern on the die cut pieces!

No Tricks, Just Treats!

Okay, I am admittedly, a HUGE fan of Halloween! It is just SO. MUCH. FUN! Costumes, candy, and cuteness abound, my friends. ABOUND, I tell ya! I am also a HUGE fan of puppies. Huge. Soooo, that being the case, when Simon Says Stamp sent me the super adorable Costumed Pets stamp set, I was instantly in love. Insta-love, my friends. Insta. For reals, though.



This. So.much.this. (I'm not even exactly sure what that means, but people say it a lot on the interwebs, so I'm going with it. K? K. Glad we had this little parenthetical chat.) For REALS, though, people! Aren't they just the CUTEST?!!! I colored the images with Spectrum Noir pens and accented the puppy nose with some Glossy Accents. Other than that, this one is really all about the stamps! LOVE!



For the LOVE of all things cute and wonderful. *sigh* I am telling you folks, sometimes things just make me smile and this, well, this is one of those things. And Red Sox baseball. That makes me smile, too. And it's on my mind because we are TOTES going to the game tomorrow. That was pretty random. I'm sure you are glad I shared that with you.
