This card was a BLAST to create! I stamped and embossed the snowflakes on a sheet of acetate so I could create a snowy overlay over my stamped and pieced background. Seriously fun stuff, you guys. SERIOUSLY fun stuff. I used the strip of glitter tape to adhere the acetate, thereby adding sparkle AND securing my acetate without any visible adhesive. LOVE IT!
I honestly can't tell you what made me go with a blue card base, but I do so LOVE how it looks with the textured background and the fabulous red banner sentiment. YAY! So many good things. But mostly a Yeti. The Yeti makes me happy.
And now it's YOUR TURN! Create a NEW project using the Christmas or Happy Holidays theme and link it up to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog for your chance to win a $50 Gift Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Store!!! YAYNESS!!!
Please remember that your card MUST be NEW (yup... posted AFTER the challenge went live) and you also need to link back to the challenge blog in your post. You can enter up to FIVE times! (Which is pretty awesome, dude.) Also, please turn off word verification.
You can find the links to the products I used on my card below.
Have a Happy!!!
