Glitter. I like it. Just sayin'.

Yes. I'm one of those people who actually LOVES glitter! Even the kind that isn't already encased in glue! HA! When this fabulous Pine Lake StandUp Village came from Retro Cafe Art Gallery ALL I could see was glorious houses covered in GLITTER!!!! YAY!!!!! So...that's what I did. Just sayin'.

Glitter Houses

I chose three of my favorite Martha Stewart glitters and covered the houses entirely in it! LOVE!!! I used Liquid Pearls to accent the windows and doors.

Glitter Houses (detail)

I added a few drops of liquid pearls to the little bottle brush trees to give them a pretty holiday feel and glued them directly to the base in front of each home. I just love how cheerful and fun this one is!!

So...a bit of holiday decor to make everyone smile! I kinda love it. I hope you are all well! Have a Jingle-tastic day!

A Fresh Squeezed Christmas GIVEAWAY!

Hello, friends! Happy Friday!!! I have some fun for you today! I was recently fortunate enough to win a super cute kit from Paper Made Bakery featuring, of course, Fresh Squeezed Stamps! I got a chance to play with the kit a bit last night and had LOTS of fun with it! I want to share a couple of the cards I created.

Sweetest Wishes Snowflakes and candy

For this one, I stamped and embossed the candy first and then surrounded it with fun buttons and the awesome wood veneer snowflake from the kit. I am SO IN LOVE with wood veneer accents right now!!! I created a sentiment banner and cut strips of the patterned paper to look like washi tape for layering with the sentiment. FUN!

Sweetest Wishes Snowflakes and Candy

I don't often use textured cardstock on my cards, and I so enjoyed this beautiful red textured paper! It's so pretty!

Gumdrop Christmas

For this one, I confess, I added some Martha Stewart paper tape...it was NEW!!!! I couldn't help it! LOL! It also went really well with the Lily Bee paper and the colors I wanted to use on the gumdrops! YAY! I love the multi-colored twine that came in the kit! So cute!

Gumdrop Christmas (detail)

AND...it just so happens that I already owned the adorable stamp set, Christmas Treats, that came with this kit, SOOOO... I am giving one away to one of you today! One Just Jingle reader will win this fun Fresh Squeezed Stamps Christmas Treats set!

Celebrate the Season in Silver and Gold

Silver and gold can be such pretty colors to play with when creating holiday cards!  When I saw this Shimmer and Shine Tuesday Trigger over at Moxie Fab World, I really wanted to play with these gorgeous colors!

I am playing along with Skipping Stones Design for the next couple of months. If you haven't heard the news, SSD is no longer doing challenges and will be stepping back for a bit. The store will be open, but many sets will not be re-stocked (the most popular ones will be) so now is the time to jump in for those if you want them!!! I used the beautiful Damask Darling set and the Christmas song set for this card.

Celebrate the Season

I stamped them both with Versamark ink and then heat embossed them in silver and gold powders from Stampendous! I LOVE this beautiful silver and gold look on the kraft background!

Neon Party People are Moxie Fab on the Runway!

Neon. It's huge. But not in a 'too much' kind of way, so I'm totally loving it. I mean, yes, it was pretty awesome back in the day, but we may or may not have gone a little bit of WAYYYYY overboard with it back then. Fortunately, middle school has come and gone and we have learned from our mistakes. HA! So, my friends, Neon is back and totally RAD, DUDE!

Over on the Runway Inspired blog, the current challenge is to be inspired by this fabulously fun little fashion snippet from Betsey Johnson who, well, let's just say the word 'subtle' is not in Betsey's vocabulary Just sayin'.

Umm.... TOTALLY FUN, people!!! Loving the flippers. Not that I suggest you wear them to the mall, it's just a fun runway look. K? K. Glad we got that under control! Whew! Anyway, that, combined with Cath's fabulous Keen On Neon Challenge in the Moxie Fab World made for a WHOLE boatload of brightly colored inspiration!

And all that inspiration, my friends, well... that led to THIS!

Neon Party People

NEON PARTY PEOPLE!!!! For reals. How much do I love this card? Lots. That's how much. CHECK OUT those colors! For reals! I know...I just said that, but it warrants a second mention. Or perhaps a third.... FOR REALS!!!!

Simply the Best Neon Party People (detail)

I stamped the sentiment using a great stamp from Technique Tuesday and then embossed it with Stampendous! white embossing powder. (LOVE that stuff!) Then I applied some super cute Japanese washi tape to ground my Neon Party People! They are from a WICKED OLD sticker pack by Meri Meri. I don't know if they even MAKE stickers anymore, but they sure did make cute ones back in the day! I added some tiny washi tape loops and some black gem stones to finish off the top! Super fun-ness!

Well, folks, that's today's excitement. HA! I hope you have a Neon-riffic kind of day! Go ahead...say it out loud. You know you want to....
