April Showers, May Flowers, and All That Jazz

***This is my second post of the day! Please be sure to check out my Just Breath card using a great sketch from Gourmet Rubber Stamps in the post below. Thanks!***

It's time for another Simon Says Stamp Challenge! YAY! Spring is finally here and this week we are celebrating April Showers and Spring Flowers! That's pretty apropos, as the April showers are being displayed prominently in my neck of the woods today! HA! The design team is also playing with Hero Arts goodness today, so, naturally, the samples pretty much ROCK! Just sayin'. Here is the card I created.

Wishing You Sunnier Days

WHOA! Pastels and everything, Batman! LOL! I don't work in pastels often, but they are so pretty! I really should. Hmm... note to self. Noted. K. Moving on.... I masked my background stamp and used three different ink colors to create the floral strip in the center of the card. I paper pieced that super cute umbrella and popped it up for a bit of an added smile!

One lucky participant this week will win a $50 Gift Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Store! So go ahead! Create your April Showers/Spring Flowers themed card and link it up to the Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog for a chance to win!
