May Arts & Graphic 45 Blog Hop - Christmas Emporium Advent Wreath

This is my second post of the day! Please check out the Samantha Walker Blog Hop, too! More chances to win!

Hello, folks! Today I have something special for you! May Arts and Graphic 45 have come together this week for a week FULL of great projects, TONS of inspiration, and, of course, LOTS of prizes!!! Be sure to check out both the May Arts and Graphic 45 blogs for your chance to win some great stuff!!!

The blogs participating today are:
Robin Shakoor
Yuka Hino
Gloria Stengel
Jingle (That's me!)
Jennifer Cowels

And here is my project! I have created an Advent Wreath using the Christmas Emporium collection along with some FABULOUS May Arts ribbon and twine!

Step 6: Trim ribbon and affix die cuts and tags to embellish the wreath.

Supplies:
Wreath
May Arts Burlap String in red and natural.
May Arts Solid Wired Ribbon in Green
May Arts Metallic Gold Ribbon
Graphic 45 Christmas Emporium Papers and Chipboard Die Cuts
Florists Wire
Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge (or other pillow box die)
Number Stickers (Mine are SRM Press and October Afternoon)

Step 1 - Cut pillow boxes with Sally the Cricut

Begin by cutting out 24 little pillow boxes with Sally the Cricut. (Well, you can't use Sally, you'll have to use your own Cricut. Just say'n.) I chose four papers and cut six from each sheet with plans to do three of each pattern, as the paper is double sided.

Step 2: Assemble pillow boxes (I did 3 of each design)

Assemble the boxes. This is a great time to enlist the help of your Hubbums. Just say'n. Also, be sure to use a strong adhesive so they don't pop open.

Step 3: Embellish boxes with burlap string and number them with stickers.

Embellish the boxes with the burlap string and add number stickers (1-24) to each box. Now is also a good time to add the treats inside (small toys or candy...Squinkies would probably work GREAT!) the pillow boxes.

Step 5: Affix pillow boxes with wire all around the wreath.

Using florists wire affix the boxes to the wreath all over the place! I didn't keep mine in order, as part of the fun is finding the number for that day!

Completed Advent Wreath

Again, using the florists wire, affix the chipboard tags and die cuts as additional decoration on the wreath. Hang your wreath in a place where you can get to it each day to reveal the treats! You could also put slips of paper in each box with the Bible verses to tell the Christmas story along with the goodies!

Thanks for stopping by and Enjoy today's blog hope!
