The Gingersnappers are celebrating Mardi Gras and it's all about the party! You know you want to make a mask, so come join in the fun!!!
Here is the fun little card I created for the challenge. Well, it would appear to be a fun little card, however, I have to say, it nearly killed me. No. For reals, people. You see those perfect Mardis Gras feathers? You know...the ones with purple, green, and gold coloring that simply HAD to be used. Well, as it turns out, they are real and I am horribly allergic to them. Contact with them set my allergies into full force and then that led straight into the cold that I've had for over a week now. Yup. This card nearly killed me. Just say'n. HA!!! I honestly find the entire thing, rather amusing. I really do.
I suppose that is what I get for buying random bags of real feathers from sweet little old ladies at yard sales. Just say'n.
Those fabulous mask stamps? Yup. Those are totally Scrolls Work stamps. I love that stamp!
Also, I want to say a BIG Happy Birthday to my fabulous little Sister, Sarah!!!!
I hope you have a fabulous day!
Cute card, sorry to hear about your allergic reaction.

ReplyDeletePoor lil' Jen! Tho' I love the naughty card which gave you so much trouble, I also feel sad that you had to suffer. But you made me laugh with your cute lil' Jingly way of telling the story! And I SOOOOO have to get one of those mask stamps! AWESOME!

Crazy lady, our craft isn't worth not breathing over, teehee.
How fun! This is so cool and I love your Theodora below too - and I loved your tutorial last week too - that altered cover was just beautiful - thanks for sharing, xo

ReplyDeleteHi Jingle, Wow what a lot of loveliness here. I have a suggestion for your feather problem, throw them out and stay tuned for a tutorial on paper feathers. I made a few for my matchbox as you know and once I show you you will want to make your own. Never know what is in those dies they use from China. Beware be very aware.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon girl.
Stay creative and Jingle all the way!!! :)
Love those little masks--this is so festive. I hope you've recuperated from the feather fiasco.
ReplyDeleteSO fun and festive! So sorry to learn you had an allergy to the feathers! Theresa
