This is a card that I created for The Hubbums since today is his first day of school with the kids! This is his FIRST first day, so it is quite exciting! I'm so proud of him! He is teaching middle school social studies (history) - mostly 8th grade, but he does have a 7th grade honors class, too. I can't WAIT to hear about his day!
And I FINALLY got back to working on dolls again! It was KILLING ME! Here is the one I have going right now. Only one at the moment, but I have a few other ideas, so I'll hopefully find some time to get those sculpted, as well. This one is ready for a body and limbs and such. The Hubbums gave me SUCH a great idea for his outfit, but I was still working through what kind of body he should have. I think I've decided on that now, though, so I'm excited to move forward with him!
And this is my space in it's entirety! You can see a couple of new treasures I picked up at Michael's over the weekend because my AWESOME Hubbums randomly gave me a gift card last week. 'Cause he loves me and stuff! Gotta love that! So, you see a couple of tubes of new paint and you can *kinda* see the new pack of alcohol inks in the corner there. I got a cold-press watercolor paper pad, as well, but that's not on my desk, so you can't see it. I plan to use it for my new art journal. I'm excited to start that project, too!
So, basically, things are awesome. I'm creating again, and that makes me SUPER SUPER WICKED CRAZY happy. Just say'n. I hope you have some fun stuff going on and I hope you are doing what you love! Happy is good. Just say'n.
