Wordless Wednesday - Under my Workspace Wednesday!
Well, if you are a regular reader, you know I like to participate in WOYWW (What's on Your Workspace Wednesday), as seen in the post below this one....well, today for my {never actually} Wordless Wednesday, I am sharing what is UNDER my workspace this morning!
Magnolia Belle. She leaves as soon as I turn on the computer, though. Apparently she doesn't like you guys! HA!

I've been Coloring! - WOYWW
Well, It's a little shocking that there is anything productive on that desk right now as last night I was feeling pretty darned lazy and hadn't really planned on working on anything, but my hands simply don't know how to be still, so I stamped several images and began to color them. They are for cards I intend to assemble later this week. I also grabbed my paper clay and molded a few faces to play with. I hadn't had a chance to use my new mold yet because I was rather consumed with my Mad Hatter doll and some of the other stuff I was working on, so, I am excited to finally have those started. They are drying slowly, as I made them fairly thick. If time works in my favor I may paint at least one of them on tomorrow. I have an idea for the tiny one, so I need to start playing with materials to see if it will work. Oh, and yes, one of them is on a stick. It just seemed like that would give me something fun to build on, so I built it right into the clay. We shall see what comes from it! HA!
To see what was UNDER my workspace this morning, check out my Wordless Wednesday post above! LOL!

Just Another Manic Monday
...oooooOOOooOO. Wish it were a Sunday....Oh, oooh, oh. Just another Manic Monday.
There, now that I have officially put THAT song in your head for the rest of the day...HA! fun stuff, folks! FUN. STUFF!
Well, let me tell you. I mentioned that I have been super busy and I was NOT lying my friends! Last week I was working desperately on my Mad Hatter to finish him up. I have to say, the more I see him, the happier I am with him. I had originally 'sculpted' a tiny tea cup for his hand, but I didn't end up using it. Then, because 'sculpted' is probably used a little loosely in reference to that particular tea cup, my husband suggested that I check out some doll house ones and give him a tiny china tea cup and I sort of love that idea, so I am going to be looking for one sometime this week because he just needs a stinking tea cup. Just say'n.
Oh...and no, I don't mind having an honest husband who compliments my dolls and then might have said something about the tea cup looking a bit more like a coffee mug...that was made in kindergarten art class. He migta' said that. HA! He *mighta'* been right. Just say'n. HAAAAA!!!! *sigh* Our life is amusing. I must say.
Also, The Hubbums has been working a ton and he had lots going on at night this past week, so this weekend was the first real time we got to spend together all week. THAT was fabulous! I love spending time with him! He is so much fun! And so darned cute! Just say'n.
Saturday was a bit of an adventure. I started a brand new very part time job doing demonstrations at craft stores for Provo Craft. It was SO much fun! I used to work retail full time and I was one of those weird folks who kinda actually really liked that line of work. I miss it sometimes and it was just SUPER fun to be back in a store setting and talking with customers and playing with a Cricut and getting to talk about crafty stuff ALL DAY LONG! I love it. It's super way fun! My back, however, has become QUITE accustomed to my desk job. It was less than happy after a day on my feet and made a point of letting me know! Yikes!
Oh, and I am finally getting into full swing training and stuff for my new position at work, so I've had all of that going on, too, so basically, I've been running around like a chicken. Just say'n.
The GOOD news is that there is lots of fun bloggy stuff coming up this week! I have a great Skipping Stones Design blog post planned for tomorrow INCLUDING a PRIZE!!! It's a blog hop, so don't forget to stop by! It will be fun! I also have some stuff I want to show off using Tombow GOODNESS!!! AND, who knows what else I might come up with along the way!
Also, I still have two giveaways running right now, so enter those QUICK! And spread the word! One is for the FABULOUS Designs by Diana and the other is a wonderful CSN Stores Gift Certificate Giveaway!
Leave me a comment! Anything fun going on in your life lately? US folks, do you have any exciting plans for the upcoming holiday? I DO!!! I will tell you about that later, though! I can't WAIT! Have a Happy Manic Monday!

Holy Crazy Busy Week, BATMAN! Just say'n.
For reals, you guys! It has been a WICKED crazy week! I am exhausted and I still have so much more to do! I was fortunate to have some time to create last night, so I did get a lot accomplished and now I just need to finish up a couple of things. I really wanted to have one of my projects finished for today, but who knew paint took TIME to dry?! I mean REALLY, people?! HA! Anyway, I did want to share the card that I made for my Super Awesome Dad for Father's Day!
I used October Afternoon papers and Tim Holtz stamps. I highlighted the stamps with my Prismacolor Markers. I really love the way the colors work together. Oh...and the October Afternoon Thrift Store line - HOLY CUTE! I seriously love it. Want more of it. Need lots of it. You know, just the usual desire for awesomeness in my hands!

What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday? PROJECTS! That's WHAT!
Yup! I've got Projects going on all over the place. These are the three that I am focusing on for the next couple of days. This is one of those weeks when I really wish I could make stuff full time. So much creative stuff to do!!! Here are the pieces on my desk at the moment:
This is a fun one! I can't wait to see how the finished product turns out!!!
She is probably in a state I could call 'almost done,' but then again, those last details sometimes take a lot of time, so we shall see!
He is challenging me at every corner! I am loving it, but I can't call this one an easy project, that is for sure! And, he has a deadline, to boot! Hopefully he will be great, though! I am totally feeling it with this one!
So, alas, that is what is on my workspace today. And they will all sit there until I get home tonight to work on them. *sigh* I need an extra me. Just say'n.
For More Wonderful Workspaces on this Fine Wednesday check out the Stamping Ground!

(P.S. You simply MUST check out Skipping Stone Designs today to see how you could get one of the sets below for FREE!_
Yup. That would be super total cuteness!!!! I really love it! Did I mention that yet? 'Cause I totally do!
I also had a great time playing with Tombow adhesives and markers while I created this card!
The strawberries are stamped with CTMH ink and then colored with beautiful Tombow markers! I love how well they blended to create the PERFECT strawberry color tone! LOVE!
I used the Tombow Glue Pen to create the fine details to add the flocking and the glitter detail! I love how awesome this glue pen is! I can do tiny little things with it!!! That makes me super happy!
See how those are little rings instead of just plain dots! I love that!!!! Also, I used the Power Bond tape under my ribbon and not only did it stick REALLY well, but you can't see it at all through my organza ribbon!!! Thank you TOMBOW!!!!
And....the final Skipping Stones Design secret that I've been keeping - TWILIGHT STAMPS!!!! I know many of you are fans and I am excited to be a part of this exciting release! Check these out!!!
Pretty cool, huh? I will be creating with them soon, so watch for THAT!!!! Now, head on over to see what the other Stamp Tramps have created! You will see some Fur and Fangs projects, too! (That's what the set above is called.) I'd love to know what you think!

My Very First Yoyo on a Brand New HUGE Hairpiece!
Okay, so you guys know that I love to try new things. The funny thing is that sometimes I get intimidated by the strangest of projects.
Enter Stage Right: The Yoyo.
Yup. I was scared to death of the silly little things. You see, I saw these cute little fabric yoyos and I loved them, but the centers were always so neat and tidy and finished and the directions never seemed to lend themselves to that nice finished look. WELL. I was wrong. I know...that's rare, so I'll let you have a moment to absorb that statement.
Oh..... wait.....
HA!
But, anyway, I figured out that all I had to do was gently fold in the edge as I stitched the gathering stitch around my fabric circle and THERE YOU HAVE IT! A nice, neat, adorable yoyo!!!!
So, I made one for this headband!
I apologize for the slight blur. My hands are rarely steady. BUT, you can still see my cute little yoyo in the center with beads to bling it up a bit! LOVE THAT!
Now, mind you, this is a HUGE hair piece! I stitched a clippy to the back so I can wear it solo or on a headband. The thing is like six inches across. Maybe more. Seriously. It's big. I love it. It makes me happy!
However, that being said, the large fabric base circle is, indeed, NOT a yoyo. I created that one by folding a strip of fabric in half and then running a gathering stitch along the edge, scrunching it all together and stitching it into a circle. I then layered the lace circle on top of that, stitched the adorable little grey cuteness of a yoyo over THAT and then adhered the beads to finish it off.
SUPER CUTENESS!!!!
Vintage beads, vintage lace, cute grey fabric. *sigh* It's fabulous. What can I tell ya?
