OR....
If you were me (you would be super cute and amazingly adorable and lots of happy....oh...wait....that's not what we were talking about was it? NUTS! I guess you would also be a bit random. One might say. Maybe. Just say'n.) and you had a $25 Amazon Gift Certificate and you were all excited about the various new art forms you have found recently, which of these two fabulous items would YOU choose? I won a class using the clay, but I've wanted some decent acrylics for art doll and mixed media work for awhile now. Oh, I HATE making decisions. I hate it. I suck at it. And no...both is not an option. The price turns out to be about the same because with the acrylics I can add filler and get free shipping and with shipping the clay comes to about the same, so that doesn't really factor in, either. Hmmmm.....
For More Wordless (or maybe something close to wordless) Wednesday posts check out here, here, and here!
Hmmm....I'd go with the acrylics. Why? Cuz they're COLORFUL and PRETTY....and colorful pretty things make me happy. Heehee. Of course, you could always just spring for the clay yourself, and get both. (Yes, always happy to enable.) :)
ReplyDeleteI can't make decisions like this also. That is why I have a craft/scrap room bursting at the seams.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with what you decide. You will make create beautiful things with what ever you choose.
Either way, whatever you make is going to be amazing!!
ReplyDeleteI would go with the acrylics! All the way!
ReplyDeleteThat's just my 47 cents on the matter.
oh you're asking ME?!? The girl who still has an amazon gift card laying around from FOUR months ago? I am not always great at making decisions.
ReplyDeleteBUT...they both look fun and exciting.
Ummm...did that help? :)
Good luck with that...lol.
ReplyDeleteAcrylics- definately! Instead of clay you can always make papier maché out of old newspapres...or not...
ReplyDeleteHey, I thought this was 'wordless' Wednesday??? Glad to meet someone else who can't be quiet!
ReplyDeleteOh, and I love your jelly baby poem- you're in line for the next Laureat!!
lullz.
ReplyDeletenot so wordless, hmm?
i'd so go for the clay stuff - you can find loads of acrylic paints individually or in sets for great prices at any of the box stores or online... (or even WalMart!) i don't like buying sets so much, because i'd rather CHOOSE the colours i want. but that's just me! (and dude, it's all about what LEAH things, y'know?)
Oh goodness.... which would be a better deal with your coupon from Michael's? Then buy the other one with the g.c. You know you'll end up buying both eventually.
ReplyDeleteOoorrrr.... which one are you just itching to use first?! :)

ReplyDeleteDid you see this wire watering can? I know its a thing not a person but...
tough decision! Whatever you choose, can't wait to see what you make :D
ReplyDeleteI've a blog award for you. If you want it, click here
color...I really need some in my life...I am sure you do too
ReplyDeleteEither way, whatever you make is going to be amazing!!
ReplyDeleteWork From Home
I hate making decisions like that as well. I would pick the product that would be harder to find near my home.
ReplyDeleteHmmmm...maybe go with the acrylics? They look great. I can't stand making crafty decisions like that, so I usually end up buying everything and spending way more than I had planned! LOL Good luck, and let us know what you choose!!! Theresa :)
ReplyDeleteUm I say the clay!
ReplyDeleteThe clay. I probably naturally feel this because I have acrylics waiting to be used up. Happy WW!
ReplyDeleteHmmm - the clay? It sounds fun! Happy Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteI am terribly indecisive.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Diana...could you get a better deal on the acrylics with your Michaels'/Joanne's/AcMoore/Hobby Lobby coupon?
Personally I would buy the clay, but you know me I love playing with clay. =D
The acrylics are so bright and pretty! I hate being faced with decisions like this.
ReplyDeleteIf you buy them both you get free shipping on both...and can say half of the card was for one, half for the other... and both will be cheaper...
ReplyDeletebut, you said you also got a free class? So you should buy what you need for the class...but then a G.c. is not for what you should buy... with my luck as soon as I ordered one Amazon would then have a sale on it the next week.
Go for the paints!
ReplyDeleteAmazon gift card is just as good as cash! Like wow, that's a real cool cats givaway.
ReplyDeletehi Jingle, I found your blog over at Leah the Orange, and you've got some fun stuff here :) I'm with you on the decision thing... I waver in the middle... but I think I'd probably go the clay sculpt stuff, and get the acrylics later - you can always get individual ones and gradually build your collection, ikywim?? Have fun deciding :)
ReplyDeletethat KarenB, she's a smart cookie.
ReplyDeleteseriously, J, i'd probably figure out which was the better bargain. i'd stretch that dang gift certificate as far as it would go. :)
