This months challenge is up over at Use Your Stash and it is a fun one! As crafters, we tend to collect supplies of all kinds even if we focus on one area of crafting. This month is all about that!
FABRIC!
You know you have some in your stash and you know you can use it for scrapbooking, cards, altered arts, and .... of course a wealth of traditional fabric projects! So put that fabric to use! If you complete all of the challenges the challenges over at Use Your Stash this month and you completed the blog hop you will be eligible to win a FABULOUS grand prize from the Little Yellow Bicycle collection!!!! Go...NOW...check it out....
Here is my project for the fabric challenge....I use fabric on layouts a bunch, so I decided to do something a little different for this one.
Isn't she just FABULOUS???!!!! I certainly think so! Her skirt is made from Daisy Janie fabric and the rest is crafted from various lace and trim that I had on hand. Her brooch is a vintage bead and she has a fabulous dull yellow vintage button adorning her back to keep it all together. The dress form itself came from Popalicious Too on Etsy! They have so many fabulous mdf forms to choose from!
I had a really fun weekend creating, so I will have a couple of other things to share with you this week! You saw my journal and my card already...unfortunately I didn't make it to the next round in the contest, and I'm pretty bummed about that, but I am excited that I have an awesome card for my cousin's wedding and a way fun PopTarts journal! I mean, really???? How could I not be happy with a PopTarts journal??? LOL!
Have you ever participated in the Use Your Stash challenges? Do you create with fabric very often? Did you get to do anything crafty over the weekend? I love to hear from you!!!
