Welcome to the Skipping Stones Design Blog Hop to celebrate the release of two new sets, Heartsong and Purse Birthday! Today the Stamp Tramps and Guests of SSD will be featuring cards using Heartsong. If you've just happened upon my blog today, make sure to start from the beginning at Skipping Stones Design. If you have already begun hopping with us, you should have arrived here from Rae's blog.
Combined with the blog hop today, it's also Skipping Stones Sketch Tuesday which means we're showcasing another great creation from our Guest Sketch Artist this month, Amy Sheffer. We'd love for you to play along with the sketch and link your card at the Skipping Stones Blog. A lucky winner that joins our sketch challenge will win a fabulous prize!!!
Now...on to my card! I created the background using Sally the Cricut (Just Because Cards Cartridge). Ummm...WAY easier than trying to punch in a rectangle! Just say'n. HA!
The butterflies are stamped, of course, with the amazing new Heartsong set from Skipping Stones! I LOVE this stamp set! It is so pretty! I attached them in the center and then lifted the wings a bit to give them dimension. I love that they look like they will flutter right off the card!
I hope you will join us with the sketch this week for your chance to win! Your next stop on the blog hop is Becky's blog!
If you get lost along the way, I have included the entire blog hop list below! Have fun hopping!!!
